Réponse de The Phone.net

Voici ce que j'ai reçu quand je leur ai demandé le remboursement suite à la non réception de ma commande au bout de 10 mois! "Dear customer, last April I sent you an email explaining that due to the global situation that is being experienced with the closure of borders in China, for which our main warehouse is suffering a delay in receiving stock And with the measures taken by the different governments that affect delivery times, even not being able to make deliveries, we were forced to cancel your order and proceed to refund your money.
Therefore, you were informed that you should request your bank to make a withdrawal of the amount paid, also called Chargeback.
This claim must be initiated through the card. This legal regulation indicates that the client has the right to request this operation within 120 days from when the payment is made. Once they request it and we are notified, the operation would be authorized and the amount would be recovered.
But if you have not been able to request the withdrawal to date, it is necessary that we ask for your IBAN so that we can make a transfer of the total that you paid for your purchase.
Receive a cordial greeting." Mais je n'ose pas leur envoyer mon iban en plus!!!

Never received the money back

Absolute thieves. Ordered a phone in March, received emails of order confirmation, payment confirmation and that the order was in transit. Then I received an email saying they couldn't deliver it and I will receive a refund between 45 and 90 days. After 5 months, still nothing.

No longer trading. Eventually got money back.

"Company" is no longer trading and the site is just a landing page with support email. I got my money back through a chargeback after lots of unintelligable communications with support.

They originally said I'd get my money back in "30 to 60 days" without actually indicating that I needed to organise a chargeback through my bank (I guess this is so international transaction fees are reversed rather than charged again?). When I got back in touch they finally stated that I needed to do a chargeback. I'm assuming this ambiguity is intentional in the hopes that people will just forget that they're due a refund.

I'm frankly surprised I was able to get my money back, they never sent the order by their own admission. Didn't even know which phone I'd ordered when questioned.

Update to previous reviews of thephones.net.

If you supply all correspondence to your banks fraud department, they will pursue the money on your behalf through their partner in crime Lemon Pay.

I have today received a refund from my bank, who will now organise a back transfer from Lemonpay to themselves.

Thank you Halifax Bank. Couldn't have beat these thieves without your help.

Terrible company

This is a terrible company and you must definitely stay away from it. Having sold me a phone in February and cancelled the order in April due to their manufacturing problems, they're still refusing to send me the refund in June. It is a big con. Be careful and do NOT buy from them.in addition their customer care is limited to emails going back and forth and it is impossible to speak to somebody on the phone

Re-Post de mon avis car AUCUNE…

Re-Post de mon avis car AUCUNE évolution : C'est INADMISSIBLE (4 mois désormais : aucun téléphone, aucun remboursement) - PLAINTE DEPOSÉE SUR ECONSUMER.GOV

Bonjour, (English version below)

======== ENGLISH =======

Hello,
Pocophone F1 RED/64o ordered and paid on the 28/01/2020.
Deadline for delivery on 10/03/2020.
Today, of course, no phone received. Moreover, I have no news from thephones.net.
So I contacted them (the contact system a bit screwed up...my first message never received), then they tell me they have no more RED and offers it to me in BLUE. Well..., unless I ordered it in RED that's what I was interested in for the price displayed (228€). No interest to receive it today in BLUE, because it's been a long time that I could have found it in BLUE on another site and cheaper !

Last message today from me, asking them to partially refund me the phone (100euros) and to send me one in BLUE if finding it in RED is an impossible mission for them... (There were a lot to sell on the day I ordered it !!)

This seller has no commercial conscience. If he was serious and attentive regarding the needs of customers, it would have been a long time ago that they would have offered me an honest solution.

What more can I do regarding this unacceptable situation ??

Merci/Thanks
T.G

Scam

Ordered a phone. They sent false tracking messages. Then were unable to deliver the phone despite previous tracking messages.

Missed out on a huge sale because of this, as I could have ordered somewhere else.

No chargeback because of fake promises

"Unfortunately as the merchant is willing to refund the entire amount due to being unable to deliver your goods we do not have any rights to raise a chargeback" - this is the message I received from my bank. I can't request the ChargeBack because you requested IBAN and wanted me to wait up to 90 days. Bank refused the ChageBack because you promised a refund so I am able to request it only after 90 days time.

sechs Monate warten und eine Antwort…

sechs Monate warten und eine Antwort von Thephones:

The intensification of customs conditions by the Chinese government is causing the delivery times of our products to be lengthened much more than our company would like and we would like to give you the service you deserve.

Therefore, we regret to inform you that the product purchased on our website will not be delivered within the stipulated deadlines and we proceed to cancel it and start the procedures for your refund.

For this, it is necessary to request the ChargeBack of the original charge through the issuer of your card or your bank. In this case, it is not your bank that makes the refund, but rather requests it to the brand of the card (VISA, MasterCard), which is the one that pays it on the card itself after verifying the data.

The two most effective ways are as follows:
1. Contact the customer service telephone number that appears on the card.
2. Carry out the procedure through the online banking of the financial institution or bank that issues the card.

From our company we accept the return for "Product not delivered"; please indicate this to the financial institution. In this link you can download a purchase invoice with all the necessary information so that your bank or card issuing entity can request the ChargeBack and the amount will be refunded.

Thank you very much for your understanding and sorry for the inconvenience. The team of: ThePhones.net.

Fraud Beware!!

Poor customer service. Did not deliver the phone for 2 months. When I cancelled the order they said it will take 90 days to get a refund. No sign of my money after 4 months. Poor poor service and unreasonable delays in delivery and refund. I have raised the complaint to consumer protection together we make sure this website closes down.

This is a fraudulent company, avoid by all means!!!!!

I have ordered a phone from this company on the 14-th of January 2020. Today, when I am writing this review is the 25-th of April. The item has not been delivered, all my efforts to get some explanation were ignored and the company refuses to make a refund. It is really a shame that such companies exist and remain unpunished. Please, avoid this fraudulent company by all means or you will loose your money.
