Initially we were really pleased with our purchase from this company. A part that was delivered was mouldy but they replaced straight away.
HOWEVER, avoid purchasing from this company at all costs: We have had the coach house hutch, run and cover for less than a year and the base has fallen through; the 'waterproofing' felt on the roof has fallen off; the run has heavily rusted; the cover has fallen apart due to not fitting with the run and hutch. I have tried to contact the company countless times over the last couple of months to be completely ignored. They do not deserve the custom of people who want the best for their animals as their hutches do not stand the test of even a small amount of time.

A very well made hutch, good quality wood and easy to assemble too.

We paid for next day delivery as, due to unforeseen circumstances, our rabbits were arriving early. Unfortunately the delivery company messed up and the hutch was going to be delayed by three days. I got in touch with thepethousecompany who arranged for a new hutch to be dispatched immediately and to arrive the next day, which it did. Excellent customer service, I was very impressed.

After experiencing a few faults with a coach house hut, for which spare parts were not available due to COVID affects on manufacturing, Richard arranged for a new hutch to be despatched. Thank you Richard.

Love the hutch but it arrived damaged! I’ve sent email after email... numerous phone calls which have never ever been answered! What a lot of money for a hutch that arrived damaged and the company can’t even be bothered to pick up the phone 📞 do not use this company

We bought the coach house rabbit hutch and cover last year a purchase if over £200. The cover doesn’t fit and rips and the hutch is poor quality and erodes/rots and is subsequently falling apart. I have sent many emails, tried to call and contact on Facebook as it is supposedly covered by a ‘warranty’ but they just ignore you - do not order anything from this company!!!!!!!

Ordered from The Rabbit Hutch Company on the recommendation of a neighbour.
Ordering and delivery were quick and easy. Unfortunately one of the boxes was damaged on delivery but we persevered with putting the hutch together as we had guinea pigs arriving imminently. The hutch went together well and instructions were relatively easy to follow.
However, when we went to put the roof on, we found that it had been damaged during delivery, not a disaster but disappointing considering the expense. One of the wooden edgings was also loose - it had been screwed in but the wood it had been screwed into had split so it had been damaged in construction.
We took photos of the damage and emailed the company immediately, feeling confident that they would get back to us promptly and replace the damaged roof. Sadly this has not been the case.
We emailed every other day for about two weeks and contacted them via the message service on the website but have heard NOTHING. There has been no acknowledgement of receipt of emails. We tried phoning but the number is a premium rate number so costs a fortune to listen to a recorded message and be placed on ‘hold’.
Extremely disappointed with lack of response. The hutch cost £184.95 And you would expect something of a good quality for that much money.

I recently brought a coach house hutch and cover and they are lovely, the hutch is made from good quality sturdy wood and the wire mesh is very strong, the cover is thick and very easy to put on with plenty of openings for ease of use. Upon arrival one of the panels had been damaged in transit, I emailed the company and within 24 hrs I had a replacement. Fantastic customer service. I would highly recommend them to everyone

We ordered our hutch for only part one to arrive.

After chasing for a week for part 2 the man who claims to be the owner was rude, refusing to admit he has done anything wrong and now refusing to re send me part 2. Said he will refund me full which is not what I wasn’t but also not had the money

Found this hutch which is bigger for our guinea pigs and has everything we were looking for in a hutch. It was reduced so was a great price. It was out of stock but we pre ordered. It said delivery would be w/c 15th June but we had notification and it actually arrived the end of the week before. Unfortunately one of the boxes was badly damaged which led to a back panel being damaged. I emailed the company along with pictures and a replacement part was on my doorstep by 8am 2 days later. Great product at a great price and excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend this company and will have no doubt about using them again.

It lasted 9 months. Wood is rotten, felt coming off, wire rusting and it is very flimsy. So not for putting in your garden, probably OK inside a garage. I contacted the company but no reply for a refund. So much for anti-rot guarantee. Now, I've to get another bespoke Hutch made as this one won't last the winter.

Shocking customer service from start to finish, hutch cover doesn’t fit and splits, when contacted basically told that the ones they have fit the hutches in the office so tough luck. Avoid this company like the plague...

The hutch was ordered in April and after a quick chase on definate delivery date it arrived within 5 days. At this point we were still able to contact the company over the telephone.

The hutch was assembled 2 days later using only hand tools and it was easy to assemble and quite sturdy.

We noticed straightaway that there were a couple of small pieces of wood that had split near the roof but that it was just transit issues.

The next day, the wood had started to split in multiple places. I took photos and emailed the same day, April 21st. After no response I emailed politely again on the 28th April. Still no response. Emailed lastly on the 8th May. I understand that they will be on skeleton staff, but they responded to sales enquiry the same day during this period!!

I am so dissapointed for our son, after saving his Christmas and birthday money to out towards the hutch at £114.99. We chose this company as it was a specialist.

I wish it was a positive review, but we now have a hutch that doesnt look like its going to last a few months...

Absolutely fantastic, would give them 10 stars if I could.

Our guy loves his new hutch, it arrived the next day and was really easy to assemble. I had one issue with him loving it too much and chewing on the ramp a lot. Soft wood is his kryptonite. I contacted the team and they were so quick to get back in touch, offering multiple resolutions for the little guy. Hands down probably the best company I've ever dealt with and as a result, I'll be a customer for life. I fully intend to use them for everything rabbit related that they provide in the future. A lovely reminder that companies still exist for the people and animals they provide for, and not corporate greed.

Excellent service from start to finish when buying our 6ft Manor hutch and cover. The hutch arrived quickly, was very easy to build and looks lovely. We had a small problem with the hutch cover fter a few days, however staff responded very quickly and resolved the situation the same day. Fantastic service and would definitely recommend.

Received my order and there seems to be a problem with the last section of the hutch, I have now contacted the company several times with no available answer or resolve! Still waiting .

I was very impressed with the Hutch I received, the delivery was on time and the building of the Hutch very straight forward. I had an issue with the roof, however the customer service provided was exceptional, with the issue sorted straight away. Would deal with The Pet House again. Thanks very much.
