Still awaiting my refund after race cancelled. I did communicate through email and Naomi was organizing refund but this never materialized. I have tried to ring but no answer. Stay clear.

Totally ripped off

Totally ripped off. You don't expect to need to conduct due diligence before booking a run but this is exactly what we should have done. Like so many before have said, paid our money, they cancelled the event at the last minute. Refuse to give a refund. Their T&C's are hidden and, basically absolve them of any responsibilities. If you look at their company on companies house it's clearly in major financial strife. 2 of the 3 directors left this year, a third of their capital disappeared in a year and they have a charge on all their assets! They are merely creating these events to raise money to keep themselves afloat and when they cancel an event, they just keep your money. Comms are non-existent, it's nothing more than a scam. We had friends flying in to the UK to take part in the Oxford Epic 10k! Avoid being another victim paying their wages, look elsewhere.

DO NOT TRUST THEM!

I am amazed this company are allowed to trade after reading reviews!

Absolute cr*ap, DO NOT give this company your money. They cancelled the event, lied throughout, claiming due to the local council. Claimed to rebook for next year and still hasn't happened. Refusing to provide refund!
They truly are shocking! DO NOT TRUST THEM! Go with a reputable company that will not scam you and will actually provide the service you were sold!

They send you to each different admin

The worst company 😡

Honestly don't enter a race organised by them if you don't mind ever ever seeing your money again!!! A group of members from our running club - including myself, entered an event to be run in June 2020 at Castleward in Northern Ireland by Tough Runner UK. The event was cancelled due to Covid and 2 years on I am still trying to get a refund. After sending numerous emails to Naomi and Adam who 'work' for the company I am still being passed from pillar to post about my refund.... Absolutely appalling please don't enter anything entered by them!!!

Would never book with this company…

Would never book with this company again. The knew the drumlanrig half marathon wasn't going to go ahead because they didn't bother to rebook their slot at the venue after covid and then continued to sell tickets for it despite this. Told me over email that refund/transfer would be available only to then offer transfers only for the same event next year or 2 different 10k's despite booking at half marathon prices. Totally garbage company, would not recommend at all as they will screw you over if anything gets postponed.

Contacted trading and advertising standards but it seems like they don't seem to care. More than annoying companies can just get away with taking my money.

Not the best customer service

Paid £42 to enter a running event through their partner 'Lets Do This'. Did not receive anything through the post (bib, chip etc) or any communications from either ToughRunner or Lets Do This. When I contacted them (Tough Runner) they simply sent me an email with a URL back to their web site which appeared as if they really did not care. After I responded to them regarding this they did get back to me a bit later but not a great experience overall. Just wish they had kept participants in the loop regarding any issues with sending race materials out.

Let's hide those prices!

I'm always wary of any company who aren't upfront on prices. How much would you pay to run 5k at a stately home, bike 25k on public roads then run 5k again at a stately home? Sixty five pounds? Me neither!
