STAY AWAY got my car when they were given away free fuel still waiting for my fuel card

Did a 130 mile round trip for absolutely nothing. Spoke to multiple different people at Can Can head office who all ensured me the care I wanted at Wednesbury was there and available to purchase. Explained I didn’t want to travel if it wasn’t there and also if my finance wasn’t going to be accepted. They assured it was there and that they could do the finance agreement over the phone to save the journey. Got there and was told the APR for me would be 19.9% which was not was confirmed over the phone. Told they'd go and speak to the finance company and of course within a few minutes was told “good news, they’d agreed to knock it down to 12.9%” - baring in mind I have an excellent credit score anyway. I then informed them what car I wanted to purchase and was told it wasn’t available and they sell too quickly because of their “cheap price”. All cars advertised online are NOT THERE and NOT THE CORRECT PRICE, even though staff over the phone ensured me that what you see online is completely correct. The cars there are completely overpriced for what they’re worth and the condition they are in too! Do not waste your time, fuel and energy!!! Hard check on credit file for nothing!

Great customer service by Ryan and Elliott. Dealt with all my queries efficiently and went out of there in every way they could. Extremely patient and didn’t rush us into anything.

Trade centre Rotherham went In yesterday looked at a few cars then looked at a 15 plate clio look3d nice bit steep at 10k but put £250 deposit which thought strange as some cars were £99 and were newer then asked the sales agent about the scratches on the alloys said to me we don't deal with them. So got home did reaserch on car looked at last MOT done just last month passed but only just saying the one brake disk soon need repairing and 3 tyres close to being illegal due the the alloys that are scratches catching the tyres. So went back today to get money back said only do that on finance not cash buyers then said we would replace the disk but tyres my responsibility as you will always find some rubbing on tyres. Please please if you intend on buying from this place do your due diligence before saying yes. If you are at the showroom get your phone out take down the registration go to Google put last mot of car see what it brings up if no issue great but if not watch out as you could be paying alot more for your new car take care car buyers

So last review of this awful shoddy second hand car sales place. Heard from their head of customer care service. What a complete joke he is . I wouldn’t buy a car from this place if you paid me.
Parts swapped over from car to car, 99 point checks are a complete waste of time , the diagnostic processes must be from the dark ages. God knows how this company sells cars !
Avoid this place buy a car from anywhere but here ( Coventry is a joke ) reading other reviews it seems like it’s a common theme with these jokers . Honestly they should wear striped shirts and masks - just daylight robbery . My son bought 2 Audi’s from here neither of them made it more than 3 mile before they showed faults . Not great for cars nearly £20k each !!!! You’d be better off buying from e bay !
Customer care is a joke and the guy who heads the team should be on tv . He’s so full of it he could write for Putin. Don’t take my word for it read the increasing numbers of poor reviews this place is getting .

UPDATE
I went to collect car on Saturday after being assured all fixed and tech happy with car being 100% fixed for the faults still not being rectified and the staff trying to deceive me .
Which brings in to question the competence and integrity of trade center Wales staff. I am now waiting for a response from CHLOE Wells that she will accept the car to be returned to them as she agreed if the car wasn't fixed this will be the next step as I emailed her and said if the car is not satisfactory I will now be returning it and she replied OK that's great thank you .

Car £10000 collected Saturday from neath branch with a list of faults contacted by staff after leaving a 3 star review car now booked in on the 31st March but due to serious faults making car unusable car Being recovered in on the 12th March have been told there may or may not be a courtesy car avaliable as they are all out 50 miles to branch i live in a rural area 40 mile return journey to work with no car service is less than 1 star would not use again treated very poor customer service who don't care being left with no transport no way get home or to get to work no way to get essentials
UPDATE 2 WEEKS LATER HAD TO COLLECT COURTESY CAR 65 MILE TRIP THE DACIA THEY GAVE ME LASTED 25 MILES BEFORE IT BROKE DOWN LIMPED IT BACK TO CARDIGAN INFORMED TRADE CENTRE IN NEATH WHO ORIGINALLY TOLD TO TO DRIVE BACK 65 MILES IN A CAR THAT WASN'T FIT TO BE ON THE ROAD THEN TOLD ME THEY WOULD GET IT RECOVERED BUT HAVE TO GO BACK TO NEATH (65MILES) TO COLLECT COURTESY CAR FINALLY AGREED TO DELIVER COURTESY CAR WAS NOT GIVEN ADEQUATE TIME TO CHECK CAR AS IT WAS INCONVENIENT FOR THE DRIVER TO WAIT WHO THREATENED TO TAKE THE CAR BACK AND LEAVE ME WITH OUT A CAR TRIED TO CONTACT CHLOE WELLS REGIONAL CUSTOMER MANAGER WHICH WAS THE REASON THE DRIVER WAS KEPT WAITING DO NOT USE EVEN IF YOU HAVE POOR CREDIT BUY A BUS PASS IT WILL BE MORE RELIABLE THAN ONE OF THERE CARS

There is a reason that this company don't allow you to search their stock of cars online and only give you a selected number of cars on the advert - it's because the cars they advertise don't really exist. Every time I have been, all of the cars advertised on their website have just been sold, no matter what time you get there - wouldn't you know it - and at every brach too - with the only comparable ones they have in stock usually costing 100% more than the only adverts you see! They are essentially scam artists and clearly draw people in with false advertising and then try to sell you an overpriced car with overpriced financing - this double hit is where they make their money, preying on those who struggle to pay for a car outright or secure a regular loan. Trading Standards should stop their shoddy practice. You can get money off the screen price - when I told them I was a cash buyer only, I got them to knock off around £2500 off cars with sticker prices of £9999. If you are going for finance or PX forget getting close to that. Even after knocking 25% off the screen price, they were still more expensive than the same spec at other dealers - including main dealers. Save your time - save your fuel money - read all the other reviews - and then go elsewhere. If you feel that you want to find out for yourself then just save time, use the phone and see if a single one of the cars they advertise are available and then try to put a deposit on it if they say it is.

Avoid, they lied about the cars servicing and since had the car numerous mechanical parts needed replacing that apparently doesn't get covered by the rac breakdown cover that it's meant to cover

Bought a Mercedes a200 and it instantly went into limp mode they took it back to “fix” it ha. Just turned the warning lights off and after 2weeks(so we had the car for more than 14days) gave us it back and as soon as the lights came back on said tough you have had it more than 14days now it’s your problem. They have sold us a broken car and will not lift a finger to sort the problem out. Now seeking leagal advise with the motor ombudsman and financial ombudsman after we spoke to the advisor on the phone explained I can’t get to work without a car I did inform the advisor of this and her response was “good luck”. They were very quick to take our car in p/x but now we’re out the door they not prepared to offer us a courtesy car while there incompetent staff try and fix the problem. All smiles while they are selling you a car and as soon as you are out the door they don’t care total joke terrible company

Drove it back from appointment, on doing so we couldn’t get it into gear only second! Said in TC if car is faulty you get your money straight back! Even the RAC couldn’t get it into gear! We are now on the 27/07/2021 hadn’t heard from them at all! We phoned them got cut off then to be told we have to wait for upper management to make a decision! Not a trust worthy company at all don’t waist your money look elsewhere!

They sell you false hope and customer service is real crap. They act like they care about their customer but in reality they only cared about their sales and your budget and getting you to say yes to going through to finance only to get the figure changed again. They don't have anything concrete about them. Plus when my partner started having contractions and we wanted to leave and say that we would come another time... the sales assistant response was "well that was a waste of time guys and said to their colleague just shred the papers" the cheek and rudeness. They act like they care about u and your situation but they really don't and can be quite rude about it esp when u decided to change your mind at the last min. We as customers have a choice to say no even if it went to finance. Kmt this company is BS, never again.

The Rochdale branch is not as big as the other branches but they still had quite a lot of cars for sale. The £3000 pound off every car is absolute BS not sure why they are still allowed to keep advertising it since it looks like it was a launch deal from a year ago when the newly opened up🤷‍♂️.unfortunately I went there with a particular car in mind there was none, you get the impression from the sales assistants that they are just intrested in your budget and finding any car they can flog you to get a sale but it wasn’t to bad as long as you make it quite clear on what you want and ignore all the stupid alternatives they suggest. For me it wasn’t so practical because the center was situated in a retail park where there was no public transport so I had to walk a good distance for nothing. The annoying part about the place is they do not advertise their stock online so going there is a bit of a gamble. They told me to come back again as they might have what I’m looking for next time anyway in the end I bought a car off autotrader instead with no BS..

None of the advertised priced cars were available all been sold in a week since Rotherham site opened lots of cars that are not very clean inside and salesman stating excellent condition of cars very pushy to try and get you to agree to signing on the dotted line and agree to credit there and then even if you say you have the finance to pay and will come back later

On Saturday 1 May 2021 I was with my family here at this The Trade center car dealership, where I was watching cars and decided to buy a car.
It was always accompanied and I went to another room, then we talked to another person where he collected my personal data and gave a small entry, then Passau to another waiting room where I waited for the purchase to be ok.
OK the purchase was confirmed and of course the children were happy and we parents too, there we went back to another room and hands another and everything was signed copies of my decomposition everything they need RAM and they wanted we were told we could wash the car in the same day, but I was still going to do a little overhaul, and we thought we had time and we were going to come back on Monday to get the new car As the car I had was already a little used after the sale, as I had already bought another one I couldn't keep the 2 cars.
On Sunday I manage to sell my car. Monday I went back to The Trade Center to pick up my new car.
I no longer had my old car sold. When I get to pick up the car they say they still don't know anything about the credit. I was the one who had already sold my old van, how am I going to work now? I had been told that they always do that. I arrived here around 10.30am is 14pm and now they came to say that I couldn't buy the car because I didn't know why.

Hi,why your 99 point inspection do not include turbo charger check?This is important part and expensive to repair

Took my daughter to get her first. She did their credit check before to make sure she can buy. Have her £2000 as a down payment. All good so we drove 45 miles to Coventry spent a couple of hours deciding on a car went through all of the paperwork. They then declined her what a complete waste of time. In the end she went through a main deal much better. Don’t use this place

I have only given one star because u dont have minus 0. My daughter bought a car cash 21st February, within 2 weeks it has been returned 5 times, cracked exhaust pipe , engine management light on, epc light on, faulty boot sensors, repaired twice, faulty air conditioning pump, had two new tyres, brakes and hand brake cleaned and fetched it today, only to be told it has to have a new engine mount, she got in to try to drive away and the epc came back on... back into customer care, back on diagnostics problem with accelerator...you couldn't write it...£50 offered as a gesture of good will, it has cost us that and some to keep driving up there...wednesbury branch...avoid like the plague
