If I could give no stars I would, customer service awful from start to finish. Had issues with flights being cancelled down route , couldn’t get through for support, sent emails , rang - nothing , no refund as yet and for all the company cares I be still stuck thousands of miles away ! Still out of pocket and still no contact - avoid at all costs
Impossible to get in touch with customer service. I have sent multiple e-mails and all I recieve is automated e-mails saying that they can't reply as it's not a registered e-mail. Despite sending from the e-mail I used to book and they send confirmation etc to. Avoid this company
Recent booking with Qatar Airways was cancelled by airline due to Middle East war.
Travel up deducts around £100 per ticket to refund the amount I paid.
Where as most of other travel agents refund full amount to customers.
This is not acceptable. We have to bear the cost of cancellation of no fault of ours. Travel Up is milking money on this bad situation.
Flight booking was slightly cheaper than booking direct with airline.
That being said, would always just pay extra and book direct with airline. Crazy fees to make any changes through travel up.
I booked a flight a couple months ago. Emirates have offered to refund any flights booked up until end of May due to the situation in Middle East. However travel up don’t follow this policy. Could only offer a partial refund as the flight is still technically going.
Not worth the saving in the end.
Hard to get through to them via phone. Email they do reply reasonably quickly. They stated a very slow refund process as well.
Overall not worth the risk. Lesson learned for future. Always book direct with airline.
Had lots of payment issues, Amex would not go through, then PayPay was trying to charge £800 more, eventually got there but more stress than required. Please look this.
I appreciate that different flights are presented & to a good price. Thank you Travel Up!!
My friend got raw deal after booking with these guys, they dont even reapond to enquiries. Avoid at all costs
scammers its all I can say and liars, book a ticket with them, the airline cancelled and they never contacted me o try to resolve the issue, the airline refunded the money to them and I still waiting for my money, they keep saying that the airline hasn't refund the money, when the airline told me that they did, so where is my money? also where is their call centre base? I don't think so its in the UK
