Cheap but not worth it.
Myself and a friend booked flights to Japan with one layover on way over, two layovers on way home. A few weeks later, we received a notification of a change in schedule which meant that now, instead of of our connections taking place concurrently, we had overnight stays both on the way over and on the way home. We would depart for Japan a day earlier than expected, and come home a day later.
The reason we chose the flights we bought was because there was no overnight layover, so we were annoyed but decided not to kick up a fuss. I booked us hotels for each overnight layover and told friends who lived in the city that we'd come see them on our way to Japan.
When we arrived for our first flight, we were told we were a day early. Tripsta had never booked us on the earlier flight, which they had told us was a required change of schedule. So our flight was the next day, per the original booking. We would have been delighted to keep the original flights had we known in advance, but now had a hotel and friends waiting for us based on the assumption that we'd be staying overnight in CPH. We had to argue at check in with airline employees who initially couldn't help us as we'd booked through a third party (Tripsta), then at the customer support desk who had to plead our case to the airline. Eventually, we got sorted (thanks to the airline staff and a lot of begging) and got on the earlier flight.
Tripsta claim we never confirmed the change (though my friend says he did call to confirm), but regardless of that, why did Tripsta tell us we needed a schedule change if we could have kept the original flights?
We were then concerned about the flights home too. If we hadn't been rebooked for our Japan-bound flights, had we been rebooked for homebound flights? Or would we spend a night in a hotel only to arrive to the airport and be told our flight was yesterday? So we had to borrow a phone, buy Skype credit, and spend ~30 mins talking to Tripsta to figure it out. It got sorted but caused really unnecessary stress during our time in Japan.
The customer care person we spoke regarding home-bound flights was nice and reassuring but overall our booking and travelling experience was really bad and I won't ever use tripsta again, and would never recommend to a friend.
Bad experience !
I bought my flights to BR and normally the people can bring two luggages of 23 kg is a country laws. When I finished my purchase the company sent a letter with the informations and we can bring just one 20 kg bag. I'm really sad about it because always I travel with American Airlines and when you buy directly on the aérea CIA website all is clear to your customers ! I tried cancel and nobody replay my emails.

Made a booking and was confirmed 2days later because of technical issues my booking was cancelled. Flight supposed to be april 3rd. Now i have to make another MORE expensive flight because of these. Company already took money from my account and i had a confirmation email. So i assumed all is good. Never again will i trust this company.

The booking went very smoothly. I had a problem with a previous booking which I cancelled within an hour of making it on 29/03/2018. However on 30/03/2018 I received an invoice for the cancelled booking. (I cancelled my booking because I was charged for a flexible fare which I had not wanted. That fare cost €78 more than the fare I wanted.) After seeing the invoice on 30/03/2018 I called the Athens office and was transferred to Bucharest where George arranged for a full refund of the amount on the invoice, €560. I have now re-booked with Tripsta for the fare I originally wanted, €483. I am a happy customer of Tripsta. I have used them before and will use them again. James Gerard Gallen

I just tried booking a flight from Dublin to LA for myself and my grandson, next Wednesday. I gave our details and paid by card and waited for confirmation which never came. I got a message to say booking is not complete so did it again and waited. Still no confirmation. Tried calling automated number, but could not go forward as I have no confirmation number or booking code. Just happened to check my account and see that two sums of money were taken €951.52 and then €976.60 to add insult, I got an email saying again I had not completed my booking. This is outrageous and there’s no one I can call. I still have no flights as far as I know. Someone needs to contact me fast. Is this a scam site???
