Avoid Tripsta at all costs no matter what the price
Booked Dublin to Halifax and they sent us via London (arriving in Heathrow and departing from Gatwick) with a three hour stopover time. Only realized this the day before flight and of course it is impossible to change airports (65km apart) in <3 hours. Would not help change the flight (even though there were two available flights direct from Dublin to Gatwick earlier that morning allowing ample time to get the Halifax connection) and they 1: Insisted I could transfer in time. 2. Asked for €1000 to change Aer Lingus flight that was listed for €93. Very poor service and avoid at all costs. Fortunately, I called Aer Lingus directly and they were able to transfer the flight to take us direct to Gatwick (thanks Fiona). Super stuff from Aer Lingus but nul point for Tripsta

I don't know how many times I have reported this - but you still apply the extremely annoying "arithmetic" check of mobile phone numbers which caused correct mobile phone numbers from Luxembourg to fail. What is even more annoying is that every time that I have reported this you assure me that your technical team has been informed and that the issue will be solved shortly. I think it is now 3 years since the first time I reported it, yet every time I book with you I have to enter a fake French mobile number to carry out the purchase. Don't bother responding that you are fixing this issue since your tech team is obviously uninterested in it.

Was a bit apprehensive about booking with a site like this but was overall very pleased, flight was €40 cheaper than the airlines website and I received my e-ticket straight away. My only issue was I was charged almost €13 for using my debit card hence the 4 stars

I'm beginning to think this site is really fraud actually, and that I have been a victim of a scam. I booked a flight with Tripsta and it's been cancelled due to weather conditions. I have contacted them a day after to request a refund, the rep told me he needed to 'transfer' me to the right department to request it, but since they had many requests and busy, he wanted to spare me waiting time and offered to transfer my refund request to their "payments department" which I'm positive doesn't really exist and process the request on my behalf, and said I should see the refund within 5 days. I asked to receive and email confirming this. This was March 2nd. Of course no money ever came in, nor the email. I called again a few days later, spoke to a rep who had no record of me ever requesting my money back, and said they have to first contact Lufthansa to confirm that my flight had been cancelled due to bad weather. Never heard from them. Called on the 11th, only then they said they are processing the refund. Asked for an email again, they said they'll send it right after our call, never got one. This is where it started looking really fishy. I called on the 13th again, they said the refund was processed on the 11th and I should get it by the end of the week. Called again on the 18th, and the rep said it was processed on the 13th (last time I called) and not the 11th. And that they are not usually sending emails confirming payments. They said I should have received it and that I should check with my bank why I don't see it. Weird, all other payments wired to my account appear without any problems, but the one payment they seem to have never issued and keep lying about is the only one taking so long and maybe something is wrong with my account?
Do yourself a huge favor and stay away form this site!

Uncontactable about anything
Uncontactable about anything. Tried to book flights last night, long haul for 2 people costing a lot of money. After all details were entered, a message came up which said that the booking could not be made(stupidly I didn't screen shot that). I closed the site to try to book through another site and immediately got an email saying that my tickets were held, complete my booking. Checking my bank account the money was taken. I sent a message via the website with no reply, sent an email to the service email with no reply, tried calling but couldn't get past the automated machine without a booking number that I wasn't supplied. Now on the point of calling my bank to report a fraud in an attempt to get my year's worth of holiday savings back.

I tried to make a booking yesterday. They charged the price to my credit card but didn't complete the reservation (saying that the credit card didn't authorize the transaction). I immediately filled a contact form through their website but nobody has responded so far (24 hours). I called their call center but they are asking for a booking number which I don’t have because I have no ticket.
They blocked my credit card limit without a ticket and I am stuck now. I suspect if this is a fraud company. Hope somebody will contact me and cancel the transaction.

20 Euros added the last mint, but clearly not right
20 Euros added as the price is raised through my reservation process...it was not right cause the first one failed so I did after 50 minuts and got the same msg- also after i start the process- seems it had been programmed.
However; as expected: i just agreed and continue, but was not nice

Scam company that hides their Google rating
Booking process does not include option for luggage. Instead (they dont show it in the booking process) you get the option to add luggage AFTER purchasing the tickets. But here's the kicker: for €50 euro's extra PLUS airline fee. So thats €80 to add a bag. With no option for cancellation, your either stuck with a way too expensive ticket or your money for the ticket is lost. Calling the servicedesk has no use, unless you call the line on which you can upgrade (immediate reponse).
Smartly changed the name on google aswell. Google "Tripsta Greece" (where they are located) and watch the storm of 1* reviews.
Tripsta hides behind "the flight company doesnt allow it" but that's, needless to say not true. I checked the same flight at 5 different booking agencies and all have luggage bookable. Its Tripsta's business model.

Invoice Issue
What i believe is you should give the invoice to a person soon rather than sending a person mail about options for hotels. Anyone can find hotels as everyone knows how to use google. Sorry for being honest.

The service is pretty good though, when I paid for service charge for my credit card I paid more than 120dollars for it which means I paid a lot compared to other web sites. that is why i will give 2 stars. if service charge was not too high then I could recommend this web.

Worse service ever!I made a booking yesterday all went through as far as deducting money from my account but without issuing a ticket.
I waited and after many attempts of contacting you someone answered my email and told me there was an error during my booking they will reverse the payment but I haven’t received any money back yet.
I need the money to book another flight.I am beginning to think I was defrauded .When I call the number they are asking for a booking code which I don’t have because I have no ticket.
Can someone from Tripsta respond to this?

The worst customer support ever!!! My flight was cancelled and they have no support at all. They don't refund you and don't reschedule!! It is a nightmare! Minimum 40minutes waiting in phone call... 2 days and no answers emails.

The system blocked me because I chose the wrong type of credit card and one minute later, the time to put back the credit card type, the rate had gone up 30€!!!!!
I understdand that the rates fluctuates and change but once the client gets to that level of booking, the rate should be guaranteed!!!!!

I am currently attempting to contact Tripsta as I need to cancel flights due to a death in the family. The contact email does not work. The telephone numbers do not work. This is a last ditch attempt to make someone actually respond to me. My bank may have to block this payment as the business now appears fraudulent.
** The other point to note is that when you dial the customer service number for the UK it asks you to press the pound symbol for your call to be processed. If you do not immediately press this button, the call is cut off. Tell me - how many phones have the pound symbol outside of the text keyboard? Landlines generally do not have this either. This is another ploy to avoid them dealing with customers**
***After scouring the web for an alternative way to contact customer service I found the following email: marketingATtripsta.com . I emailed this address and whilst I did not receive a reply from this address I did receive one from serviceATtripsta.co.uk . As my emails via the contact form came back as undelivered I can only guess this was a result of my emailing the marketing email. I hope this helps someone else***
