I am a delivery driver and had worst experience today.
I am a delivery driver. I want to say something today, I was doing delivery today as regular on my e-bicycle, I got order, I went on the pickup location and saw it was 2 big cases of 24 water bottles in each 1 litre, it broke my bag today & lost my money making day where we work hard for making money. I will suggest some things to uber eats IT team - see the items in the order, think logically weather it can be delivered on bike or not. If it can't be delivered on bike, send this item through any other service like four wheeler or something. Disclose the things in the order before so delivery driver can think and then decide to go for order pickup before spending his valuable time. Work on your IT service team and update this pre-order things in the order. I am suggesting this things which can help the delivery drivers also and for company also which can help them to grow in future.
I ordered a mcds through the mcds app
I ordered a mcds through the mcds app, it was delivered, cold.
After eating, another was delivered, I explained to the driver that I have already had my order delivered.
I have had two payments taken out of my bank, I have contacted uber and the lady advised that it was mcds fault.
Contacted my loca mcds and the manager advised that it was in fact Ubers fault as payment they haven’t received yet, as it takes 24 hours.
He said to call them back, I did so and spoke to angel, she was good until she put me on hold, got back onto the call, then said we can’t help, contact mcds ( numerous times I’ve told her I have contacted them and even went to store)
She then proceeded to put the phone down
I am so disappointed with the service from yourselves and will never use you again.

Its so difficult to get a refund from Uber Eats. Ordered a takeaway, the company cancelled our order, said we cancelled it and took our money when there was no call to cancel. Uber prioritises financial gain over customer satisfaction

The most useless company so far. Avoid using vouchers on this uber eats. Vouchers are redeemed and then it comes up as error to use and then finally if you try various times then you will not bw able to use it for the day due to limits of trying. I think it is advisable to use just eat. And also you cant get your money back either for uber money as it has been redemded and no customer service either. When you send messages you will get a reply within a week to retify your provlem

Worst delivery service. I had stopped using Uber Eats years ago - because of consistently bad service - and I thought I give it a try again. It’s ridiculous how unreliable this provider is; I will certainly never again use their services.

Placed an order and it disappeared from app after payment. Contacted the restaurant and confirmed they had received it, and delivered it as expected. However. I could not track the delivery and could not get the receipt from Uber, so I cannot get it reimbursed from work.
I called Uber support and even though the automatic voice says they'll direct me to support, the call ends immediately after.
First and last time using Uber eats
First time using Uber eats and will be my last. 45 minutes late delivering my order, unable to use tracking feature unless you have an account/download the app, can't follow simple instructions re delivery (waited for me to answer the door when I'd said I want it leaving on the step) - no explanation for delay, just 'sorry it's late!', and then left my garden gate wide open!

Do not use - £109.99 order arrived cold because the driver did not zip up his thermal bag, all recorded on Ring Doorbell, the lack of care, courtesy or professionalism from Uber online chat or X has been appalling, instead of accepting it's their fault they have just said they will relay this back to Honest Burgers who did not do anything wrong. About to go on social media and the media about this - so avoid avoid, avoid using them!

I've had multiple issues with delivery food services as a disabled person who cannot cook for themselves anymore a rely on takeaway unfortunately quite a lot, sadly, the delivery is always bad. If it isn't waiting two hours and then your order gets cancelled or the food's cold or the items are wrong or the delivery people are always at the wrong address, as well as not being able to talk to anyone but AI.. Now, uber eats has decided to start overcharging people. They have a small order fee for under ten pounds which is set at 99p but it doesn't register and automatically ignores the fact that your order is under ten pounds!!!

My review is for Uber One, which does not seem to have a separate category. I signed up for Uber One after being prompted during an Uber Eats order with the promise of free delivery. However, I was still charged for delivery — saving only $1 rather than receiving the free delivery that was advertised. This is misleading and disappointing.
At $48 for the subscription, the value simply isn't there. I order roughly once a fortnight, meaning it would take me over a year of weekly orders just to break even — far more than my actual usage. I would never have signed up had the offer been presented honestly.
This kind of deceptive marketing erodes trust, and it's frustrating that a company of this size relies on these tactics. I will not be subscribing to any Uber products again.

Use deliveroo! This excuse of a company take your money..change how long they will be every 5 minutes then don't deliver any food! And put delivered! And when this happens..which is will..they will offer to look into a refund! No mention of time wasted..or the fact its got so late mose places are closed! The delivery drivers are morons

I have had so many issues when it comes to uber eats and I’ve had enough of it now so writing a review about the experiences I’ve had with them.!
So I’ve had previous orders from them from the McDonald’s app and food has been missing or it’s stone cold due to the time it takes for the drivers to deliver doing several different drops along the way… you call uber or speak over chat and they say every single time your not eligible for a refund even when items are missing or not edible due to being so cold because their drivers group several deliveries, I always get told there’s suspicious activity on my account so they can’t refund me YES and that activity is me trying to get a refund for food that hasn’t arrived or has arrived stone cold because of McDonald’s F ups not sending the right items or your drivers F ups by doing several different drops making the food cold by the time it arrives.
Today I ordered a harvester and again my delivery which the restaurant is only 8mins drive away took 30mins because again your driver had 3 stops along the way, stopping at McDonald’s then coop then someone’s house before they got to me.! My food yet again has arrived cold when I paid £80 for this food.! It’s not acceptable at all and you need to start taking some accountability for the fact people are paying good money out their own pockets for food they expect to be delivered in a reasonable time and hot.!
STOP letting your drivers take on multiple orders that they can’t handle doing and when people have issues with their orders and can prove this to your REFUND them THEIR money which their ENTITLED to.!
Waste of space this company and will be avoiding at all costs now by going collecting my future orders myself.!

Ordered an Uber KFC - delivery to a small single unit business. The Uber delivery driver left the food on a random wall. Ended up resorting to Google to identify the location. Appalling service but I don't think 'service' is an appropriate word. Clearly lazy, unmotivated drivers that don't actually care where they leave a delivery or whether the person that ordered it actually receives it.

Absolutely disgusted with the response received from uber eats AI team after I was handed my order that literally split through the bottom of the bag onto the floor because Uber Eats hires morons as delivery drivers, I spoke to the AI bot team who insisted my order was only worth a £3.37 refund after the whole order was ruined by the delivery driver the order total was £18 delivery fee included which means I’ve paid for the driver to deliver my food in an edible state absolutely disgusted by uber eats response to this ineptitude
