Uber One Members Treated Like 💩

Very disappointing experience with driver attitude

I booked an Uber taxi in Lincoln. The driver arrived but stopped at the wrong end of the street.

I asked him to move closer to the correct pick-up point, as the passenger had a broken leg and was on crutches, making it difficult and unsafe to walk.

Instead of assisting or communicating, the driver simply turned around and drove away without picking up the passenger at all.

This wasn’t just inconvenient — it felt like a complete lack of consideration and basic human courtesy. In situations involving mobility issues, a bit of patience and understanding really matters. Despite no journey taking place, £5.43 was charged to my card for this ride.

Very disappointing experience.

I will give zero star if possible.
Extremely poor customer services, ignored my questions many times.
Refused to bear the responsibility for the food damage caused during the delivery/transportation.
Don't bother or waste.money to use this platform

Appalling experience

Two orders that have been incomplete and very difficult to try and get the refund for. Second order has still not been refunded and I’ve been told I need to wait 24 to 48 hours to speak to somebody.

The customer service and interface of this is appalling. Do not use them. It’s not worth the “ convenience” pop out to the shops and get the items yourself

Be careful of scammers in their team. I ordered mc donald through their app and got called minutes later by someone pretending to be the restaurant manager of the mc donald trying to get codes to get access to my account!!! when trying to contact them they couldnt care less!! Im done with uber eats

Absolute joke

Absolute joke, ordered a double big Mac meal from McDonald's and an apple pie. The burger didn't turn up, cost 14 quid and all customer service offered me was a £2 refund. The main part of the meal, didn't even cover the delivery fee, service fee and small order fee. Absolute joke of a company.

Complete scam and theft - fed up of greedy, immoral corperations!!!

I have Uber One, my partner has Uber One. We were looking to order from Monmo's Derby- every single item was cheaper on this account than mine, despite the fact we have the same membership and live at the same address. Because I was pissed off that the same products were cheaper for his than me (and trust me, we compared in detail!) So I decided to cancel my Uber1, once and for all- it's the last straw in a long line of things Uber does dishonestly (including triple-dropping orders, delivering orders to the wrong address and cold food). So imagine my suprise when I cancelled, rejected the offers and was told not only would I be charged in two days time (enough time to cancel a pending transaction), but you're charging me £7.49 instead of the cost of Uber1. At least I know how you make your money! So, I will be having my bank claw back this money, and if you want to pursue me for it, I'll happily contact the Ombudsmen. A word of advice to users- my partner and I had different prices for nearly every takeaway when we check- different offers, items literally £3-£6 cheaper, despite the fact we live in the same house. Check your accounts, because you may well be paying not to support your local resturant, but to line the pockets of Uber's greedy git of a CEO.

Dirty rotten thieving bastards, for a whole week I’ve been contacting them to say that 2 of my orders have gone missing, they totally denied it and was so patronising that they said they didn’t receive my orders, then when I emailed my orders they said that my orders were not being received and sent me a copy of a totally different order of my own, will never 👎 use this scam/ scum company again 😡😡😡

Have had Uber One for many months

Have had Uber One for many months! Absolutely horrendous experience with support, one of the worse you can find! I have had orders go missing and nobody on the other end to help. I had many cases where the wrong item arrived or it was completely missing but I never go reimbursed for it. Just a nightmare overall. I completely stopped using their services and suggest you avoid them at all cost?

Unfair: Gift Card Not Usable Due to Being Outside a Region

Hello,

I was rewarded $25 as a gift after taking part in some research. However, I am based in the UK and cannot use this. It displays the credit but has marked it as unusable. This is unfair - that should be for me.

Please give me money back.

I ended up going to the restaurant myself to pick up the food.

The scam application!

This app takes your money without buy anything.
Not a secured application at all.
Used it once 5 years ago, then got hacked and somehow money was taken using my bank card!
Downloaded it again for a Uber taxi which was urgent as I was in a different country and it made me pay for a food delivery back in 2025 which never got order or delivered.
Complained about this and all I get is the complaint has been settled.
My money has been taken £30 and all I get is the complaints have been settled! No they haven’t, how can you not see that a the restaurant is forcing people to pay something from over a year ago,
And you approve of this?
A refund is required!

As a business do not sign up to be a partner with these robbers they will ruin your business as they are slowly ruining mine
We are a restaurant on Uber Eats and have been for ove 4 years. Top Class Lunchbox in Stockton on Tees. If as a restaurant you are thinking of joining Uber Eats i would advise you dont. For the past 4 weeks Uber Eats have stopped paying us. This is impacting our business. We use our income to pay rent buy stock etc. With Uber Eats stopping our payments our spare cashflow is been depleted. Nobody from Uber Eats replies to emails, messages, wattsapp, uber eats manager messaging app. When you do finally get to speak to someone or miraculously get a reply to emails etc they say it's in the hands of our specialised team, so you ask can i speak with them the answer is NO, ask for an email contact the answer is NO the reply is you will be contacted within 72 hours (this has been going on for 4 weeks) nobody contacts you. I got an email yesterday to say the hold on our payments was removed and we would get payments again. We didn't get payment so rang uber eats to be told there was a hold on our payments and then to be told they had not sent an email, then saying the hold had was still on our payments.So ask to speak to someone and get told for the 100th time it's with the specialised team they will be in touch within 72 hours, I've been told this I dont know how many times and nobody gets in touch. This is killing my business, you tell the people on the phone that I may have to close my business because of Uber Eats and they dont care. They just refer you to the specialised team who never contact you. We have enough funds to keep the business open for a few more days. Unless we receive our payment from uber eats soon we will have to close permanently. They stop paying your money without any warning and will not tell you why they have stopped when you eventually get a reply. I have tried reaching out to various officials Merve Basci, Mathew Price and others to no avail. If you value your business avoid Uber Eats like the plague they will ruin you. Date of experience is almost 5 weeks ago and still ongoing with no payments. AVOID AVOID AVOID. If my business does shut down the only people, company to blame is UBER EATS, Its disgusting that you are allowed to treat a business and people the way you have. A terrible company.

After the driver got lost and I had to go and find him I received someone else’s shopping and the driver just put the phone down on me. They are breathtakingly rude.

Then getting in touch with customer service was a trial I would not like to repeat. It said I would have to wait up to 12 hours for a reply. I kept on complaining and they insisted I send a photograph of all the shopping I have been sent then they rejected the photograph as they said it wasn’t clear but it was very clear. It was really obvious it wasn’t my order. I don’t have a baby for one thing. I was disappointed because I had ordered a nice lot of healthy food from Morrisons.

Eventually, they agreed to refund my money but they said that I would have to wait 10 days to receive it. I’ve never ever heard of that kind of delay, it’s usually 3-5 days.

This really is a dreadful company. I sincerely suggest you choose any other method to have things delivered.

I ordered a double Big Mac meal and 20 chicken nuggets, the Big Mac was missing from the meal and the refund I received was £0.95.
Customer service was non-existent.
In the past I did an order worth > £50 and all that arrived was a big bag with three drinks in it, none of which I ordered. I re ordered the order and went to support I got no refund even with the duplicate order I had made.

After the recent experience I will never be using uber or uber eats again. Appalling customer service

The delivery driver waited with my order for 1 hours then asked for the code when he arrived then said oh I don't have your order to witch I replied so you took the code to get paid knowing you didn't have my food I've waited am hour I swear I had to hold myself so mad 😡
