What the hell is this. I can feel my brain physically rotting anytime I have to step foot on the website. Let people make mistakes and do better. You are an app used in schools so you should actually help kids learn things instead of destroy thier prior knowledge. STOP PLS I BEG

I would rate it 0 stars if I could.....

The site is just terrible. It doesn't tell you where you went wrong when you answer a question incorrectly and you only receive one try for multiple choice questions. I have had to use this multiple times for school, but it is so confusing! Try and avoid this site if you can; it needs some pretty serious work done to it...

Completely useless

It is, to put it simply, one of the worst websites I have ever used. I always dread the thought of exam revision because of it. It will tell you wrong, but won't even give you a hint of where you have gone wrong. I see the "Whoops! You have some incorrect answers" message so many times I feel like it is mocking me. In addition to this, the tutorial videos give me a genuine want to watch paint dry. The woman's voice is extremely annoying and most of the time the videos attached tell me nothing. Whoever made this website has a lot of work cut out for them, because pretty much most of the website requires improvement. I encourage you to, if possible, steer clear of this revision dumpster fire.

Abysmal: if I could give it 0 stars, I most certainly would…

“What went wrong this time” (the site asks me)

It glitches and goes wrong, EVERY time. The measuring tools don’t work, inputting the correct answers and explanations is a mind numbing guessing game that wastes an enormous amount of time, causes great confusion and leaves students experiencing high levels of stress, particularly when their teachers set them interminable assignments on this awful programme, every week,
Additionally, the marking is unfair because students are marked down on multi mark questions, even when they categorically know their answer to be 100% correct.

I suppose it must be cheap and cheerful, otherwise why else would it still be operational and used by so many state schools?

Pay peanuts and you get monkeys.

I don’t suppose MathsWatch will ever do anything about it folks - what would be its incentive to?

Really Frustrating

there is only one format possible and if you have another wat of working out it's considered wrong even if it is right. It doesn't tell you where you went wrong and just marks you wrong. Most of the questions and their answers are on Google anyways. Very frustrating.

possibly the worst site I've ever seen

The site is just terrible. It doesn't tell you where you went wrong when you answer a question incorrectly and you only receive one try for multiple choice questions. In addition to this, the site doesn't have a dark mode so it gave me a splitting headache after I was done.

I mean it's alright

I mean it's alright. Overrated as hell in my opinion, I use this in school along with two other maths websites and this one is significantly worse. I would strongly advise any students reading this to inform their maths teachers of sparx maths because it is genuinely better with videos tailored for the exact type of question you are doing and it sets homeworks that are tailored for you (obviously after you've finished a couple homeworks)

Mathswatch is very bad because...

I use mathswatch for my school and when I answer a multiple choice question just estimating the answer and not really looking at it which I usually do the first time, it won't let me change it and because my answer is wrong, it won't count the answer as finished. It is also really upsetting for some of my friends who have 100% scores ruined by one multiple choice question. Where it says that you can only have one attempt is so small that I didn't notice it the first time and I was really annoyed.

math's watch is nearly perfect

math's watch is nearly perfect
as a secondary school student it is a good platform to learn but sometimes there are questions that need you to write and it is shown wrong because the programmer put it in a similar way but that is because he put it in a formal way i know some people say its bat but it really isn't over all i do recommend this platform by Kaspian Chmielewski

as a student, my experience with mathswatch has been great. honestly, i dont know why people are being so dramatic and saying its horrible. ive learnt so much from it and its been helping me improve in maths and physics. now i am best at maths in my class and 3rd in my school im really happy. however they need to include more explanation to the videos as they wont always explain all the questions. i am not wanting to make this review harch as my experience with mathswatch has been really good. Thank you, Khadija

Poorly made

Poorly made
On questions that require working out, you have to use the websites indices and other symbols that take far too long to access and, when you do put them in they only appear at the end of what you are writing so you can't fix anything if you happen to place it in the wrong place. And 90% of the questions are answered on google anyway. occasionally it will change where you are writing in the text box. Some parts of the website are hard to understand like how it for some reason shows your average percentage on all assignments rather than just on the one you are working on while you are completing it meaning you don't know how much you have done. most the videos are irrelevant and look like they were made in 2005. It tells you that you have "9 unread messages" but not where to find them. And you cant check your answers after getting them correct in case you want to check some method to use on another question.

Would not recommend use paper instead.

Mathswatch is awful

Mathswatch is awful, the website, at times, can be very challenging to operate. If you get an answer wrong in the slightest you will be marked down, after making a mistake the website decides not to tell you your mistake, making it very challenging to rectify. On multiple choice questions it gives you one chance and will likely not tell you your mistakes, leading to students having to resort to using their devices, when not allowed, to answer these questions.

Everything about it is useless.

I am forced to use this in school. The videos are often irrelevant. You can only attempt multiple choice questions once, and on questions that require you to write , you have to word it the way the programmer wrote it. Some answers are shown as incorrect even if you work them out on a calculator.
This is affecting my maths grades and in the long run, it may cost me a good career
