Utter rubbish

Utter rubbish. As if having a teacher who doesnt tell you that there is homework i have to use this absolute crap website to do it. All my ratio answers are wrong even after searching them on google and doing them myself. The UI looks like my 15 year PS3 (Which is at least good!!!) and does not function. My average grade system got me my first C in my report becuase 'it was too low' despite getting over 90% on the last three assignments. It does NOT help you with the answers as when you get a question wrong it just says Oops your answer is wrong. Like what do you want me to do abt it if your video is useless crap!!!! The assignments have not helped me at all as when I get questions wrong I can just do them again??? I hate this app more than maths which is impressive lmao! My rant is now over and imma go play Forza Horizon ;))

Mathswatch from a student's perspective isn't too bad but not perfect

Honestly I can't see why people dislike it so much. I was trying to improve from my last few assessments in maths and even physics and I got a very good recap. I rememorized how distance time graphs work, box plots are easy now etc.. I'm very satisfied about what I was taught, and even though some subjects like velocity time graphs were confusing, I studied it a bit more and I'm happy with it.

However, what I don't like is how they missed out some obvious subjects such as perimeters of semi circles, etc.. However, this is a minor complaint because I would be harsh to judge it for that because of its large variety. I can do work from other sources on perimeters just as well so it's not that bad. Some worksheets could be longer too

Videos are irrelevant to topics

Videos on this site are complely irrelevant to what the questions are about and often aren't even fully complete sentences making it incredibly difficult to work out what the question means

Terrible

Terrible I would give 0 stars if I could. They videos are so annoying to watch all you ever hear is, “press pause and have a go, when your ready for the answer press play.” Most of the time she won’t tell you how to do a type of question in the video; she will give similar ones. Everything about the website is stupid.

If I could give this 0 stars, I would

Speaking as a parent, Mathswatch is shockingly bad. I’m emailing my child’s school to demand to know why they are still using it. My Y9 child has just struggled for over an hour to answer his latest homework and even with both parents (working in engineering and finance so using maths on a daily basis) and his A-level student brother helping, we couldn’t get to the ‘right’ answer for several questions. Some of the questions are so badly worded you can’t fathom what it doesn’t like about your answer. Have you failed to answer to enough decimal points? Does it want units for this one? It doesn’t support children to learn at all. Utterly soul destroying crap.

TERRIBLE

The worst maths website. Their videos don't help half the time and they don't provide ways you could improve through feedback, they just tell you 'Whoops, this is the wrong answer'. The website looks decent, but the content is terrible!

Come on...

It's not the worst thing, but the ai isn't great, the woman explaining can be condescending, and the multiple-choice questions are locked after one try, tainting your very visible average score forever.

I struggle with Maths and the videos on…

I struggle with Maths and the videos on MathsWatch are not helpful AT ALL for me anyway. The first part of the videos are fine however when you look at the question the video doesn’t even explain it. It doesn’t let you off if you forget to put cm at the end of an answer and just isn’t helpful. One thing I would improve is if it could give you hints to the answers if you continually get them wrong because it’s just useless if your there for hours on the same question with a useless video and no help.

Mathswatch? more like mathsNOT

I believe that this website is quite useless and the idea of it should be scrapped. I have tried many times to revise and study with this website, but end up confused each time. I find it quite ironic how Mathswatch is meant to be an easy, free teaching tool but yet it all seems outdated and not cared for at all! I would not recommend this to anyone, not even my worst enemy. I have also had my account password lost in its database when resetting my password and hacked into it! The security is terrible.

Absolute garbage

Absolute garbage. So my college stupidly decided to use this site to sit our exams this year, first time we did it the site was down pretty much all day. Then the time I get to use it, I finish all 3 papers. Press done and now all 3 are gone. Everything like rulers and stuff are hard to use, whoever suggested this to my college needs to get fired, waste of time.

Very stressful to use.

I find that mathswatch is really hard to use and you need to type in the exact words for a written answer or it will be wrong. Also it doesn't tell you that you only have one go at multiple choice answers. Finally if kids are actually going to learn stuff then they need to tell you what you are doing wrong rather than just taking away points. The videos are quite good but the tasks are in my opinion terrible. Please fix this mathswatch. The ruler tool is also really hard and awkward too use.
