I was kept informed from the outset and…

I was kept informed from the outset and Daisy rang to advise me that she was 30 minutes away. I found her to be very pleasant and easy to talk to. I was delighted to receive my valuation quickly. Would definitely recommend Walker Dunn, thank you.

You will have a dedicated manager follow your case, once survey is done you get that in 2 working days. Everything is excellent.

House survey review

Initial visit was three weeks after request, although we were given a cancellation. A couple of what were serious items were not shown in the needs to be done section, e.g. a strong recommendation to have an asbestos survey was buried in the report. However the report was concise and clear and the company easy to deal with.

Honestly I felt I spent £1100 for…

Honestly I felt I spent £1100 for nothing! Surveyor only there for an hour with his apprentice to inform me the carpentry wasn’t up to scratch which included a loose skirting board and a loose toilet seat! He also informed me I needed to get the gas checked when there was no gas in the property and the insulation may not be up to scratch which the owner did inform him he had all the building regs to back up the sufficiency of it. I felt the whole survey was just a tick box exercise and nothing was accurate. I definitely question the professionalism of this firm!

Highly recommended

Easy to pay online in the period between booking and survey date. No pressure to pay straight away. Informed us that the inspection had gone ahead as planned. Received report back super quick, sooner than the estimated date.

Great customer experience

This was our second time using Walker Dunn for a Level 2 homebuyers survey. Both occasions I have had friendly and prompt customer service from Hannah - always nice to email with someone who speaks like a real human and not a robot!
Good communication around the booking of our survey and the delivery of the reports, which we received promptly and found to be very thorough.

Brilliant service, would recommend

Customer service has been brilliant from start to finish. Communication has been first class without being overbearing. The report was received within 3 days of the survey taking place and appears to be very detailed. I would definitely recommend using Walker Dunn

I would recommend Walker Dunn to anybody.

I have had two level 3 surveys done by Walker Dunn for two different housesand I would recommend them to anyone.
I found them to be really responsive when asking for a quote and getting the survey booked in. I got a text message to tell me the survey had gone ahead as planned on the day and had the first survey back in 3 days and my second survey was back in 2 days.
The surveys are the best i have ever had. They're really detailed which gives you the confidence to decide on the next steps for the property purchase.
They weren't the cheapest quote I got from surveyors but they are worth every penny. If i was to purchase another property i'll definitely be using Walker Dunn again.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone purchasing a house.
I would like to thank Edward carrying out the surveys and producing the reports.
