Poor communication, item poorly packaged and blocks you for sending faulty items back they told you to send back to them.

Ordered DeWalt battery from their ebay store, it turned up poorly packaged with some kind of liquid on the battery terminals and coming out near the battery terminals,I wasn't sure what it was so I messaged the seller and sent them pictures of it and they said something along the lines of-

I have never come across that with any dewalt battery before, open an ebay return case and use the pre paid label to return it.

I asked them if they could send me a replacement and they said when they received the old one back they would send a new one out,
but they never did and although they recommended I send it back to them they blocked me on ebay and won't reply to any of the messages I have sent them through their website either.

This seller advertises free postage to U.K. but, having purchased, sent message to ask for £12 extra courier charges or £4 extra postage (on £50 purchase) due to address being in postcode PA (highlands of Scotland) Royal Mail have charges which apply throughout U.K. so this seller is ‘at it’ as we say in Glasgow. When I complained he more or less told me to ‘naff off’.

You shouldn't believe the negative ebay buying claims about this company.
I just purchase from Abbey Power and the service was first class. Order placed. Confirmation given within the hour and delivered on the first date of the delivery window slot. Prices the cheapest going.
Too many people complaining about minor issues.
That's just how it is today.

DO NOT ORDER ON LINE THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY EVEN WHEN NOT IN STOCK AND THEY NO THEY CAN NOT GET IT AVOID EVEN DOING THIS ON EBAY. SAVE YOUR MONEY YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Placed an order on the 29th October at 5:46am in the morning, I needed a selection of router cutters somemore than others so found abbeypower tools on ebay which had what I needed and at a good price so I put them all in my basket and proceeded to checkout to find out that it would only let me have the first item but not any of the others , I just presumed others where out of stock or something so proceeded to complete order and send seller a message only to find out I only had permission to purchase 1 item every ten days "really" , if I had of known this I would have chosen the router cutter I really needed most importantly, we are now 8 days on ie 5th November and apart from the word "dispatched " which appeared shortly after ordering I've had no update, no further tracking info nothing just left in limbo wondering "is it coming today" , basically the long and the short of it is the good price doesn't over power the long empty wait, and on Sunday I presume I would have been allowed to purchase the cutter I really needed but don't think I'll bother myself as the few extra pounds I might spend elsewhere (some previous suppliers) atleast I know I'll get a promt delivery, this is only my second or third order via ebay and I've got to say its not all its cracked up to be

Ordered Sun (24th). Shipped Fri (29th). Really?
If you had emailed to say "XYZ out of stock etc" that would be better but just sitting on the order for 5 days.
Next time i need tools, i get them somewhere else thanks.

Able to purchase single sockets. Delivery times as stated. Would use again.

This was one of a very few suppliers offering exactly what I needed. The web site was clear, easy to use and the product description unambiguous.
Delivery was slightly slow and a "progress" e-mail would have been helpful but in the end, it didn't matter. I was delighted with the product.

The products are great. 5 star quality.That's why I give you 5 stars. But it took 9 days to get them to me and from what I can see from the timeline it took 7 of those days from receipt of order for you to package them up and put them in the post. That's way too long. Lets you down guys. What happened?

Went out of their way to ensure that the product was delivered on time despite the fact that it was not in stock when ordered.

I found the website easy to use, my package came when said, seems to be good quality, overall very pleased

Well designed website, clear ordering, and prompt delivery

Delivery two days arfter ordering a Mountfield blower/vac was very good but a part was missing. I phoned and the part was sent by first class post and arrived the next day. Device started first time. And fifty quid under nearest other quote!! I am one very satisfied customer.

The correct sockets were delivered, and in good time - I can't ask for more
