Acronis True Image Tech Support is TERRIBLE
Acronis software has lost its ability to update virus signatures and, therefore, will not back up files either. I have submitted a tech support ticket, and the first and second responses were for information that I had provided the first time. It is clear they don't even bother to read the tech support request and instead send out cookie-cutter responses. I have been waiting for three days for a response to the fatal error that Acronis True Image has encountered. I have done clean uninstalls using their cleaning executable file, followed all instructions to perfection, and still the software does not work. I am not sure why tech support cannot deal with this in a timely fashion. Needless to say, once the subscription is over, I will be going elsewhere.

Non IT Professional Needs Help
My project was to rationalize my inventory of backups going back to 2011, manage my hard drive and on-line capacity, and stream line my backup process going forward. Not being an IT professional made this task virtually undoable. Mridul was patient and his follow-up after each session was to-the-point, operational, and within my grasp to understand. I feel very confident about my ability to manage this process in the future.

The work and patience for guiding me through the recovery process -- that was exactly what I needed. The number of steps required not many, but "priority support" for each step of the recovery was very helpful -- made my day :-)
On-Line Technical Service is a great
Although the software is rather complex, the on-line service provided by an Acronis technician was great. He knew exactly what the PC was doing , He took his time and never tried to hurry me.

The current version of True Image has a problem with the scheduler. I contacted Acronis support and the support person quickly identified that the problem was with the release. He reverted to the previous release and I am functional again. I will be notified when a new release is ready. Excellent support.
