I am very pleased with AliBaba, for the most part.

I am very satisfied with the bargains and the products I have received from Alibaba. I've had a problem with several sellers that use the site, though. I ordered two things from sellers, and was supplied with tracking information. As I tracked the orders, I saw them get delivered to two different destinations, not mine. That's on the retailer, not Alibaba. In both cases, I believe the product listings were removed from the site after I placed my orders, which didn't give me a lot of faith that I would receive them. The support I received from Alibaba was excellent, and I received two refunds without any trouble. Alibaba has also preemptively cancelled two orders for products because the retailers could not provide and then ship the products within 30 days of the purchase! That's superior service.

Trash doors from Forge Windows and Doors (FoShan)

We paid for doors from alibaba supplier Forge Windows and Doors (FoShan) Co., Ltd, and when they arrived, they were not solid at all, but glued together bits of wood with paint. Failed almost immediately. Supplier responds with words, but no product replacement, even with a 5 year a warranty.
Total garbage

I paid for goods and never received it

I paid for goods and never received it. The order had trade assurance, but Alibaba keeps extending my dispute period. I paid 6 months ago, and submitted my refund request 75 days ago. The supplier is called Liam Dai from Shenzhen Fly International Logistics. I now have zero trust in Alibaba.

Rogue Suppliers in Different Jurisdiction

Sold me a damaged lab equipment. Refused to refund. I applied for refund, which is lasting over 1 month. The equipment is not in use. I dont have my money. All I see is one sided outcome. Forget buying from outside your jurisdiction. It will come down to that. And if you implement all the so called safety measures when buying, it becomes very expensive to buy from Alibaba. Talking about insurance, inspection, etc. So you can't get justice. I lost over 4000USD. This happened recently and I am not giving up on my cash. I had another one in 2025, no refund, no help.I lost about 3000USD. THEREFORE, I HAVE STOPPED BUYING FROM ANOTHER JURISDICTION. I prefer buying locally. The company is too big to solve issues like this n they make u feel like u can't do anything.

shit company not recomand

i order one car lift and launch 3D wheel alignment ! after 3 months i recive the goods ! After that surprize the goods was china version , the seller send fake CE certificate ! in february i open refound case on alibaba , after few months send evidence , they close in 05/05/2026 the upload evidence !
now are near 2 months and no answerr, i write to customer sevice , same answer ! so i never order from this shot website , and i send my documents to my lawyers to recover my money !

Trade Assurance is a trap: Biased mediators protect fraudulent sellers.

BEWARE: Alibaba’s "Trade Assurance" provides zero protection for buyers. I am currently dealing with a dispute where the seller added unauthorized ocean freight surcharges (EBS, PCS, etc.) under a CIF contract, but disguised them as "local port charges" to force me to pay.

I provided undeniable, hard evidence to the Alibaba mediator:

The invoices for these "destination charges" were issued weeks BEFORE the vessel even arrived at the destination port.

Emails from the local agent confirming they only follow the seller's instructions.

Proof that the seller previously issued credit notes for these exact charges, proving their direct control over them.

Despite this crystal-clear evidence, the Alibaba mediator completely ignored the facts. Instead of asking the seller to provide the official shipping line tariff to prove these are legitimate mandatory fees, the mediator used copy-paste templates to shift the burden of proof onto me (the buyer). They intentionally classify obvious freight mark-ups as "buyer's local fees" to quickly close the case in the seller's favor.

The mediation process is not impartial; it is systematically designed to protect sellers and Alibaba's revenue.

MY WARNING TO OTHERS: > Do not trust Trade Assurance. If you must buy on Alibaba, ONLY pay using a Credit Card or PayPal. When their dispute team inevitably fails you and sides with a scamming seller, your only real protection is to initiate a Chargeback through your bank.

Unfortunately I have very good experience with you, but I can not ignore that after I order and pay all the fees I still don't receive the package (Cowboy Boots)the trader claims that I get the package or in other ways that I call the number . Nobody contact me about the package , the phone nobody picks up
