I have been working for Amber Arch for over 20 years. I enjoy their variety of work enormously and since moving to a very rural part of the country they are always happy to help with additional travel costs if need be. I find the briefs detailed and easy to follow.
It is two way street being a VMS if you follow the guidelines, produce satisfactory work you get paid and if you don’t, you don’t get paid! I tend to do more VMS than report based as I enjoy it more but Amber Arch have a good selection of both.
I tend to deal with Pamela and Stephanie who I think are great and available if you need to contact them in or out of office hours.

I have been working for Amber Arch for a few years. They have been nothing but nice and helpful. They are very trustworthy. So much so, that I never actually have to check anymore that I have been paid. I did at the beginning when I just started. Now I only double-check everything when I count taxes. They have always been understanding even if I was completing the reports a little bit later than the deadline, they never made me feel bad. They are always communicating well. They are easy to contact by email or phone.

I read the last review left by another shopper. Perhaps they might have a bad experience. However, when doing jobs for certain clients we do agree that for some types of jobs, we find out at a certain time in the morning if they are going to go ahead or not. We are the ones deciding to accept these kinds of rules when we apply for work. It is very clear. It is fine with some shoppers and the others that do not like this rule can simply do other jobs instead.

Amber Arch always paid me for the jobs I completed. Some of the clients might take longer to pay but the money is always paid to my PayPal account.

I honestly love to work for Amber Arch they are one of my few favourite mystery shopping companies.

I have worked with Amber Arch for a number of years now. I have never had any issues and find them honest and reliable. There is always someone on the other end of the phone, regardless of whether it is in office hours or not. The briefs are clear and every detail is covered, so I always know what to do! However if I am unsure the girls in the office are always happy to assist. A special mention to Danielle who answers the phone quicker than anyone I have ever known! I love the assignments and would recommend them to anyone.

Excellent people to work for,been working for them for almost 15 years, very few problems, what few problems that occur are comfortably dealt with.
Hats off to Pamela and Stephanie, with the newcomers also very amiable.
Don't hesitate to pick up any offers of work with them.

I have worked for Amber Arch for a while and they are quite responsive and helpful when needed. I had to contact them a couple of time while on the job and there was always somebody to assist me. The briefs are easy to fallow. I'm not quite understanding the angry comments as if there was a problem, this surely would be explained to the shopper and there is no need to get nasty. I had a one or two job turned down but it was my fault by missing something from brief. As bad as it feels because of my wasted time afterall, it's not the Amber Arch's aim to not fulfill job and not pay their shoppers.

I've worked with this company for 9 years. I've found them to be good communicators and have always been able to get hold of someone over the phone when needed. They have a variety of clients and pay on time.

In my experience Amber Arch are a great company to work for. The briefs are always clear and the pay is really good. Most importantly for me, they always answer the phone and help to deal with any brief issues. The staff are always really friendly and professional. I haven't had to chase payment once; they always pay correctly and on time. I would definitely recommend signing up.

Some of their briefs are challenging but I find they are well paid to compensate for this. Pam and Steph are great to talk to and are readily available which isn't the case with some other companies. I don't always get everything that I apply for but I feel like I am dealt with fairly and I can't ask for more than that.

Been working with Amber Arch for almost 10 years and have never had a problem with them. Their briefs are always clear and easy to understand, and they always available and respond quickly if you need to contact them. Fees are higher than many and payments have always been on time. Would recommend to others, particularly to those starting out on their mystery shopping careers.

I have been mystery shopping for over 10 years now and Amber Arch are on a par with the best Mystery Shopping Companies to work for.

The journey is quite simple, anyone starting Mystery shopping needs to start by taking the simpler jobs, follow the clear guidelines and submit their report accurately and timely. This will then build your reputation and reliability to the company and you can then progress onto more complex/better paid assignments.

I have always found Amber Arch to be excellent to work with, their guidelines and requirements are clear and precise. Communication has always been friendly and reasonable if they need further information - we all make genuine errors that can be rectified with respectful good communication.

Special mention to Pamela and Stephanie who tend to be my main contacts - never had an issue, always friendly and professional in all communication.

Payments are made on a regular basis and are normally accurate, any minor discrepancies are quickly rectified.

In summary, ignore the negative comments on Amber Arch.

I've worked with Amber Arch for about 10 years now and can honestly say that I've had very few problems indeed. I've been reading the bad reviews on this website and it seems like the main 2 problems are: 1) Travelling to certain types of jobs where it's not a certainty that the agents are going to be there, the staff in AA office make this quite clear in the brief and so you ought not take these types of jobs unless you're prepared to either stay home until around 11am when the visits are confirmed, or what I do is take the jobs if I'm already going to that area anyway, then it's a nice bonus if the agents arrive and no loss to me if they don't. 2) Complaints that AA are the only company that take a long time to pay, well, that definitely isn't true, I work for around 25 different companies and at least 6 of them use exactly the same payment system, that is, whatever work I do in the month they pay at the end of the following month, so, work done in the first week of the month means I'm waiting around 7 weeks for payment, work done in the last week of the month means I'm waiting around 4 weeks for payment. Most people I know wait at least 4 weeks for their salary so it's not much difference really. The way around this, if you can only wait 4 weeks for your money is to only accept work in the last week of the month. Yes there are companies that pay once a week, or every fortnight, or every 3 weeks. I like that my payments are spread out through the month, it helps me to budget better! Another thing I like about AA is no matter when you call them if you have a question or a problem they ALWAYS answer the call, whereas many other companies NEVER pick up which can be very stressful indeed, you have to leave a message and 9 times out of 10, by the time someone gets back to you it's too late! I have worked with the team Amber Arch since early 2019, so well over 5 years now and can highly recommend them as a professional, responsive MS company. In my opinion they are one of the best. They are quick to allocate, pay well — and on time — and are always on the end of the phone (or email), if I ever have any questions or queries. Stephanie and Pamela in particular and all of the team to be fair, have always been very friendly and supportive over the years and it really is a pleasure to work with them.

I’ve been mystery shopping for Amber Arch for over a year now and I’ve found them to be a fantastic company for work with. I mystery shop for a few companies and I would say that Amber Arch are one of the best. The communication from the team is second to none and everyone you speak to is very friendly and happy to help. The instructions on the jobs are very clear around what you can and cannot do and if you are in any doubt, they are always at the end of the phone to help with any questions. In terms of payment, they pay very fairly compared to some other companies and I’m always paid on time (and even early in some cases). Fantastic company to worth with and I very much enjoy completing jobs for them, it’s an absolute pleasure and one I plan to continue for years to come.

I have been a mystery shopper for seven years, working with six different companies. I can confidently say that Amber Arch is one of the best in terms of clarity of information, guidance, and transparency. They ask shoppers to follow straightforward and easy-to-understand instructions. Since joining Amber Arch a year ago, I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the team. They respond promptly to calls and emails, are kind and understanding, and they never delay payments.

I have found my work for Amber Arch to be excellent . They have supported me well, have been helpful if I have to change things, but have always ben open and honest with me. I recommend them highly

One of the best Mystery Shopping Companies to work for. Never had a failed visit- trick is to read the brief fully and ask if you are not sure of anything. Would recommend to anyone wanting to expand their Mystery Shopping range.

A company with a small, hard working staff team. Projects are varied and allocation and communication are good. Payment turnaround has always been prompt. Recommend!

I've just read an unusual review on here (Sue) .... that's the fuel for my submission today.

Two Points ....

(1) I feel Sue has something else going on in her life and she has chosen an unusual and public path for venting out her frustrations. My advice though, don't get sucked off in that direction.

(2) I've covered enough of these to comment. These charity assignments are always transparent and consistent with their basic structure of whether they go ahead or not "on the day".
(2a) If the client can't get the charity position covered with staff on the day, the assignment gets either cancelled or re-dated.
(2b) If the staff get moved around and you've already shopped one of them, you don't get sent.

The set up and agreement from application has never been difficult to understand and it's not re-inventing the wheel.
