Appeal Shading Reviews 

We had fly screens installed on windows and a door. Whilst we are very happy with the window screen, we feel we were mis-sold the door screen. During the sales process we made it clear that we were worried our dogs would run through the screen and tear it. We were shown a video of the screen retracting if it was hit. However our door does not do that because it was 'a different specification' to the demo. This was not stated at the time or made clear at any point in the process. To make matters worse we have tried to engage with Appeal to resolve this matter but apart from an initial explanatory email they have refused to reply. Very disappointing customer service as on the whole the product is good quality.

Rachel Giles and Dan Powell were both excellent.
Rachel came out a couple of times to answer our questions and arranged for samples etc Dan who did the survey and install was first class, on time and a very neat worker. Everything set up and explained clearly. We would highly recommend both Rachel and Dan.

Fitter, Alan Robinson did a lovely job - even though in our old house, walls etc were not quite straight, so fitting the door screen was not quite straight forward !!
Really pleased that we will be bug-free this summer. Thankyou!

Excellent service again! 6 years after our previous awning was fitted.
Bev from Sales was excellent. Leon and Glenn were a great team. Very communicative and good workers . Very tidy and took the 4 1/2 hours as stated. Another quality fitting of 2 matching awnings.

Alan R did a great installation of our roof lanterns and window blinds. He worked cleanly and proficiently and explained the remote control mechanism.

Dan did a fantastic job, clean worker, and communicated very clearly throughout. I would recommend him and Appeal 100%.

I’m sorry say but these are then worst blinds we have purchased in the 30 years we have had blinds in our home. Comparing Appeal Shading with Thomas Sanderson and Hilary’s blinds. These blinds are cheap. Keep breaking down. They’re too heavy and the mechanism for pulling them down keep breaking. We are older people who cannot keep climbing up our Windows to keep refitting the mechanisms to draw the blinds down. Some are totally stuck and cannot be pulled down OR up at all.
I don’t k ow what magic those who have given 5 stars are experiencing but we are terribly disappointed. On top of it all they are so incredibly expensive. Awful blinds. People who work for the company are nice but that’s about as far as it goes.

We recently had our electric blinds installed by Julian from Appeal Blinds Group and we couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. Julian was an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. He’s a wonderful man with a genuinely lovely personality, which made the whole process feel easy and relaxed.

He was professional, knowledgeable and clearly takes a lot of pride in his work. The installation was smooth, tidy and done to a really high standard, and he took the time to make sure everything was working perfectly before he left.
It’s not often you come across someone so friendly, reliable and passionate about what they do. Julian is a real credit to Appeal Blinds Group and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone thinking about getting electric blinds installed. Fantastic service all round! 👏

We have used Appeal Home Shading in the past and are very happy with the quality and look of the products.
The process does take a number of weeks from the point of order to installation but the communication is excellent and you are kept fully informed.
Installed by Paul Coomber who explained everything thoroughly. Very happy with the end result.

We purchased three automatic blinds from Appeal Shading the other year, unfortunately we experience a problem with one of the blinds. On contacting their service department they could not have been more understanding and helpful. An engineer was dispatched (Julian) who attended immediately and ascertained the problem which was dealt with it in a very efficient and professional manner. It is unusual these days to find a company who offer such good customer aftercare. I cannot recommend this company highly enough, if you are looking for blinds of a high quality then you could do no better than contacting Appeal.

Paul Coomber efficiently installed the beautiful blinds in our conservatory. The whole process was smooth and communication excellent.

After moving into a fabulous new house in Cornwall we decided we needed an awning outside our massive 5 pane bifold doors. We had a few people come round to show us products and provide a quote but Appeal impressed us the most. The awning was fitted today and it looks fabulous. The quality and sturdiness of the product cannot be faulted.
The fitters Charles & Tom kept us informed about arrival time and they acted very professionally, demonstrating their expertise by completing the job very efficiently. They were very polite and explained the features of the blind very well. We are looking forward to using the awning and would highly recommend this company and all their products.
