Bought a refurbished F&U PAH 1218 Air…
Bought a refurbished F&U PAH 1218 Air Conditioner Unit from Appliances Direct.
When it arrived the packaging was battered and the window plate was missing. However it became apparent hat the unit was unsuitable for our 250 year old property due to high windows and wide window sills that the exhaust pipe didn’t reach and we would have had to stand the unit on a platform of some kind.
I contacted AD and requested a return due to our issues.
We set up the system on delivery and switched it on to ensure it worked. for 2 mins.
AD refused return as the appliance had been operated and would now be classed as ‘used’ and they would have to sell it so.
After very much discussion and getting nowhere I ended the call.
No flexibility, unreasonable and poor support for a customer.
I would not use AD again.

Refurbished dishwasher - works well, has scratches so discounted but delivered very promptly
Bought a refurbished dishwasher for my parents - so it was discounted due to being imperfect. Works well though would have preferred pictures showing scratches / dents beforehand. Also the manual is mainly pictures, with a QR code to full manual that didn’t work - not sure if this is an indesit issue or maybe Appliances direct could print one off & include.
Delivery was speedy and delivery staff professional, though in other stores it is often free for larger items.
