Simple straightforward service. Saved some money switching my electricity to them. So far happy with them.

Been with Avro 3 years now readings…
Been with Avro 3 years now readings simple to send get an email before its due I am a carer for my 80 year old cousin and she is now with Avro made it easy for me to send her readings in I am in credit but the news tonight says any credit will be passed on to a new supplier if your supplier goes down
My 1st renewal
My 1st renewal. Almost 50 percent hike up from last year but still the cheapest around.
Comms is sometimes a prob' but not overly concerned.
The name of the game is getting as much gas and electricity for the minimum cost.
If I can get it cheaper I will switch-as simple a that.
Best prices around
Best prices around and customer service have always come back to me the next day when I have emailed them.
They may be one of the cheapest on the market but there is a reason for this!
They may be one of the cheapest on the market but there is a reason for that! Absolutely abhorrent company with the worst customer service I have ever experienced, truly terrible. You cannot call them, as the phoneline just cuts you off and emails go unanswered for days on end and have to be repeatedly chased. Then when you eventually get a response there is no apology for the delay, just an arrogant response. No customer care whatsoever. My account built up credit to the tune of £500. I asked for this to be refunded and this was flat out refused, they have given me a partial refund and retained £360 for future usage despite the fact I am still paying a monthly direct debit. Clearly they are going down the tubes and using customers money to try to remain afloat, Guessing given you can't actually speak to anyone they have obviously laid their customer service staff off. Avoid at all costs, unless you want totally ripped off and ignored!
Renewal for next 12 months
Easy to renew, but the amount had jumped £16 in two weeks.

The application for the switch was straightforward. Only relevant questions were asked. If the other stages are as easy I'll be very pleased.
Will not refund full amount if you have a crediit. Held account 2 years plus
Held my account for a couple of years. I have not got a smart meter nor do I want one. No problems at all. Pay by direct debit each month(more than covers it,obviously). Send in my meter readings each month. Only one thing annoyed me which was as I had a credit on my account. I requested a refund of £419.77. I was emailed this reply. Over winter we advise a minamum of 2 monthly payments in my account to the value of £213.52. So I was refunded £206.15. This did annoy me because if my account was not covered one month to the next you have the option to make an extra payment. Just be cautious about credit you have building up. I am now in the same situation again so I have emailed requesting a FULL refund. We will see what happens.

I am angry that even though I've sent 3 emails none have been answered. During this time my monthly amount has gone from £64 to £105 per month!! I'm in credit £254. Due date for change 9th October.

Earlier today I spoke to Mathew P a Customer advisor and was very impressed with this professionalism and friendliness. I needed to request a refund. My husband and I are pensioners, therefore not that good with technology. I was feeling very stressed at the time of phoning however Mathew put me at ease. I felt that Matthew added value to the business. Well done Arvo kept the standards up.
EXISTING CUSTOMER.
EXISTING CUSTOMER.
Very happy with Avro an excellent company so sorry that the tariff has increased but we are all in the same boat
I too am an existing customer
I too am an existing customer, just renewed @£50 up on last year, with my arm up my back following the blind panic occasioned and whipped up by the Govt. & press. Opportunistic advantage taken of me by Avro.

Had positive e mails with Megan who was very helpful. AVRO is a bit slow to answer probably due to Covid and working from home, however they are a good company

This is the first time we have ever switched suppliers and we were genuinely surprised at how easy it was
Superb service
The quote that you provided for me and the process of switching to Avro Energy was superb. Thank you so much for your help.
I'm an existing customer
I'm an existing customer. Emailed last week to ask about renewal as well as another question and that part got ignored. Tried ringing but basically told as an existing customer they didn't have time. They let my account get in debt without changing the direct debit and then told me this was my fault as it was a self managed account. I was not ware of this at all. Cleared the debt straight away. Custtomer service emails are very slow ot be answered
Time Will Tell
Time will tell ... Very annoyed, as (like other reviews posted very recently), it has all gone ridiculous, due to the recent Gvt announcement re. Wholesale Gas prices!! :( ... And EVERYONE (Energy companies) have pushed all their 'deals' sky high, so I've had to renew on a different rate which I was given about a month ago. Luckily, I'm a low user, - I feel for those with families etc, as some of the monthly rises are ridiculous!! All told, the (new) rate quoted (Simple & 12M Fixed) was easily the cheapest anywhere, but not as good as the rate quoted about a month ago (Simple and Surge 12M). And as previous years, the renewal process was very easy. Will still pursue this, but ...
Very easy to use and competitive
Very easy to use and competitive. I am hoping the switch is straight forward and seamless

It couldn’t have been easier to sign up for my new deal. Meter readings once a month are also simple and quick to advise. Well done Avro especially in the current turmoil.
