Every thing was really good im happy to purchase My phone from back Market

One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had.

I bought an iPhone 13 mini from Back Market because the listing clearly stated that it supported eSIM. Instead, I received a China-region model that does not support eSIM at all. Because I trusted the product description, I transferred my mobile line to a new eSIM before discovering the issue. As a result, my previous SIM was deactivated, and I was left without any phone service.

I returned the device and Back Market agreed to send a replacement. Shockingly, they sent me the exact same incompatible model again, forcing me to repeat the entire process and leaving me without a working phone for even longer.

The problems didn’t stop there. Customer service often took an entire day to reply to simple messages, I was sent an invalid return label, which delayed the return even further, and I constantly had to chase updates myself.

Eventually, I received a refund, but only after weeks of unnecessary stress and wasted time. I was also promised that Back Market would take responsibility for the fact that their mistakes left me without mobile service. Instead, the support agent closed my case without any follow-up or resolution.

Mistakes can happen, but sending the wrong product twice, providing incorrect return documentation, responding extremely slowly, and then closing the case without honoring your commitments is simply unacceptable.

I won’t be buying from Back Market again, and I can’t recommend them based on my experience.

I returned my item and asked for a refund. It has been 2 weeks now and still the refund has not being processed. The first customer service person told me supplier said i have icloud on the phone even though i did not set up the phone upon delivery and so i asked for proof. After a week of silence and not able to provide proof another customer service person has reached out freshly to me when same email stating customer says i have my icloud on the phone. I have forwarded my earlier response to him and insist i did not set up the phone upon deliver and sent my photo proofs to them. Still silent and my refund is still not processed

I had issues with phone heating up even if bought in excellent conditions. Especially during WhatsApp phone calls or while charging. Definitely not normal for an iPhone 17. Recently just after few months from purchase I started feeling tingling sensation on my hand, clearly something is off in this phone.

I purchased a Shark vacuum cleaner listed as “Very Good” condition. The device arrived with an incompatible suction tube, making it neither usable nor chargeable. In addition, it had a broken plastic clip and visible scratches, which does not match the advertised condition.

As a refurbishing retailer, this should have been caught during inspection. A device that cannot even be charged without the correct accessory should never have been shipped in this state.

The missing suction tube remains unresolved to this day. I have repeatedly pointed out my right to subsequent performance under § 439 of the German Civil Code (BGB). Two members of staff confirmed in writing that they would obtain a binding response from the seller. Instead, I ultimately received another generic reply, as if the responsible agent had not read any of the previous correspondence.

The only solution offered is a return, which puts me at a financial disadvantage, as the same device is now listed significantly more expensive on Back Market itself.

Update: After I rejected the factually incorrect claim that the suction tube was not part of the delivery scope, and explicitly requested escalation to a supervisor, I received the same response again. No acknowledgment of the escalation request, no engagement with the contradiction

Phone was delayed due to uknown problem, and company named Clewertronik has taken this delivery, but overall, phone was in a good condition, everything works as it should have

Everything as described in the workflow. Phone is in excellent quality, delivery fast and in safe packaging. The selling of the own cell phone was also easy and well guided.

This was the final gift I bought for my girlfriend. I hope it stays with her for as long as I carried the thought of it, in an open tab before finally becoming a purchase. She filled it with charming little animals and gentle landscapes, turning it from an object into something unmistakably hers... and If fate is kind, perhaps one day I’ll see her smile as she uses it.
