A competitively priced SRAM Rival Group…
A competitively priced SRAM Rival Group set. Dispatched and delivered on the promised date. However, it was let down by parcel force delivery as packaging was heavily damaged and open on one corner. Luckily, none of the small loose items where adjacent to the damage area so I recieved all items ordered.

Wonderful service from the staff in the shop
Wonderful service from the staff in the Fulham shop, very friendly and helpful to me when I picked the bike up. I took my own pedals and they were fitted in an instant. No problems with collection timing or communication. I would recommend Balfe's Bikes to anyone.
The only downside is that the bike was not set up brilliantly. I rode it straight home from the shop and a couple of avoidable problems were on the bike: Left hand brake lever was slightly loose and the gears would not shift out of the one they were in. Fortunately I managed to rectify this and enjoy my amazing new bike.

First Road Bike
Fantastic customer service from Simon who supported me in deciding on my first road bike for my first triathlon. Talked me through the differences in each of the Liv models and found a bike which actually fits me (I'm 5ft1) and is such a comfortable ride. Simon took the time to fit me on the bike, sorted a test ride and advised on additional products. A great experience!

Great price and in house delivery… little else!
Great price and in house delivery service however a lousy/non-existent after sales service! A new £3.5k E bike was purchased. On day 1 of ownership it was found to have a fault so a return was requested and denied. Reason, policy states a bike cannot be returned if used. How is one to know that a bike has a fault if it is not used? A request was made of the London branch to take the bike in to rectify the fault. A month later they have still not responded. Ridersupport suggested I take the bike to an independent Giant dealership to have the bike inspected which I did who discovered a sensor had been incorrectly calibrated at the factory. A second fault developed which did not even generate a reply from Balfe's. This was also addressed by a third party Giant dealership under warranty.

Ordered a bike via cycle to work…
Ordered a bike via cycle to work scheme- Balfes made it very easy and was able to secure a bike in the sale until scheme funds were made available. A few bits needed amending on the order but the communication via email was excellent- prompt and straightforward- thank you, would recommend for future bike / accessories shopping.

Terrible!
Terrible!! bike turned up with no stablizers, and no pedals!! contacted Balfe's and they said they would send them out immediately...still haven't arrived. literally ruined my 5 year old little girls birthday!!

I used Balfes Bikes through the cyclescheme.I ordered from up in edinburgh,and was swiftly delivered within a couple days.
Would definitely recommend Balfes bikes and will further more be buying my gear from here.
Very reasonable priced as well.Saved £200 on my bike from here compared to trek online store.

Had everything I wanted on website, easy to order and quick delivery, issue with an item ( shoes that didn’t fit, if you want ride concepts considering ordering a size up ) but it was super easy to raise a return, will use again in the future
