Reddit cherrypicks post

Reddit cherrypicks posts. They claim see our "guidelines "? However, I've seen many derogatory comments on there. I deleted my account because of their bias, and discriminatory practices. Some of the stuff on their is downright offense, and profanity in common until I try and post. There have too many times that my comments has been denied. I wondering who are these ppl on any given day deciding what's morally correct? I'm sure if their not the same ppl everyday 365 there lies your issue that's why Reddit and all other platforms there will have bias.

Left-Wing Auto-Bots

I wrote an important post to inform the British public that food bank donations are offered to asylum seekers - a hot topic nowadays. Even rephrasing to state 'illegal immigrants' got auto-blocked on every channel including those supporting adjustments to our laws.

My wording was polite, factual and absolutely not racist. Reddit is not meant to set political policy.

I made my first post and followed all…

I made my first post and followed all the rules. It was a well-developed One Piece theory that got over 500k views, 1,500 likes, and 200 comments in just one day because the idea was genuinely thought-out. Then, out of nowhere, an admin decided to close the discussion the same day, saying it was “unrealistic.” Over 200 people were actively discussing it on the first day, and they call it unrealistic and delete it? Completely arbitrary. That’s why I created this account, but I’ll never use Reddit again — except on the day my theory turns out to be true. Then I’ll come back, post the screenshots, and prove that you guys had absolutely no idea what you were talking about.

Such a f*kng bad site

Such a bad site, used to be good here and there.

I made many posts, got some good upvotes going as well as negative ones. But the negative ones didn't bother me, long as the word got out that not everyone is in the same mentality. Fast forward to 2025 and yeah nah, reddit is failing hard to even read nuance so it applied the banhammer, unable to process that some of us have a brain and can easily think past group-think. Not only that, there have been stories of bots taking over certain threads and spamming them right up until the mod also becomes a robot too aka an auto-mod. Time to find a new site where bots haven't taken over, people can think for themselves, and chaos here and there not a performatively curated experience that only applies to 50% of the population who can't think for themselves.

makes 4chud and "x" look like a safe place

I've literally seen r*dditors tell their opposition to kill them selves. (spoiler alert the opposition is right wing) What did the "opposition" do? literally nothing that warrants this behavior

Terrible security & moderation system

My account had 2FA security but someone hacked my account after my account banned for permanently. I contacted reddit support & mail but no one respond. After I switch my 4 years old another account and I couldn't send a post to any reddit group after I have been banned again lol

Reddit = censorship and abusive moderation

I posted a documented consumer warning and my submission was manually removed by moderators, with the excuse that it was a “business complaint, not a scam.” Instead of allowing open discussion or evidence, Reddit suppresses legitimate reports.

This is not an open community anymore — it’s over-moderated, heavily censored, and filled with ads and low-value content. Genuine user experiences are deleted while promotional content stays.

Reddit increasingly behaves like an ad-driven ghost site with opaque moderation. If you rely on Reddit for independent information, be warned: your post can be removed at any time.

The Internet's lunatic asylum

Reddit sucks even by the abysmal standards of social media. Much (in some subreddits, most) of the content seems generated by mentally-ill morons or by bots controlled by them. Bullying and hard-core bigotry (racism, sexism, homophobia, etc.) is rampant even in discussions that should have nothing to do with "hot" topics. The ironically-called "moderators" are the worst of the lot. It seems that Reddit hires otherwise unemployable losers for bigotry and stupidity.

Woman only subreddits are not allowed

Woman only subreddits are not allowed but they are allowing trans only subreddits that ban non trans people? Destroying the safe place for real woman is disgusting. You cannot even go to twoxchromosomes without trans people trying to make it about themselves when they already have r/trans subreddit. J.K. Rowling was right, never read Harry Potter but now I think I will.

Is Reddit Worth It or Just a Waste of…

Is Reddit Worth It or Just a Waste of Time?
The Challenges of Reddit
Strict Moderation – Most subreddits have very strict rules. Even slightly promotional posts can get removed instantly.

Unforgiving Users – Redditors dislike obvious marketing. If your content looks like an ad, expect downvotes or removals.

Time-Consuming – To succeed on Reddit, you need to engage, comment, and add value consistently, which takes effort.

High Removal Rate – Even genuine posts sometimes get flagged or deleted if they don’t match community guidelines.
