Great costumer service and easy booking process

In an attempt to make me book the site sprinkled in cheaper fares for later travel dates... Could be very confusing for some and it's definitely a deceptive/manipulative tactic that could cause people to book the wrong date and have to pay a cancellation fee I assume.

Terrible first experience – bait-and-switch flight details and hidden cancellation fees!

​My very first experience booking with CheapOair was an absolute nightmare.
​I attempted to book a specific trip, but immediately after receiving the confirmation email, I noticed that the departing flight had been completely changed to a totally different schedule without my consent.
​When I called customer service right away to get placed on my original flight, I was told they couldn't accommodate me. Since they couldn't provide the trip I actually bought, I asked to cancel the package. That is when they attempted to hit me with a $150 cancellation fee for a booking I had tried to make literally two minutes prior!
​It took over an hour and 10 minutes of exhausting, frustrating conversations before I was finally issued a full refund.

​Bottom line: Watch out for sudden flight changes and predatory cancellation fees right after booking. I will not be using CheapOair again.

The contact name in the phone system was deliberately misspelled as "Cheapoair Cheep Plane Ticke"—a major red flag for a scam. It appears scammers are monitoring recent booking trends or utilizing leaked data to cold-call customers, likely hoping to trick travelers into giving up personal info or paying fake "price increase" fees.Advice to fellow travelers: If you get a call from +1 (845) 664-6161, do not answer it or give them any data. Always go directly to the official website or verify your flight reservation through your airline's official "Manage Booking" tool. I had to go to my bank to cancel my debit card and get a replacement to ensure my accounts stayed secure. Be extremely careful!

I buy a flight and the date is changed and I’m stuck with date you give me my card was declined and you never cancelled the charged from frontier air of course you can’t get hold of a person to talk to them

Agent I booked with was very nice and polite. Price is reasonable except I wanted an extra room seat and it was all gone.

I was just looking at seats - I did not pick anything or give any credit ard information. I was told seats would be $144 and it looks as though I was charged $341. I have never used cheap flights before and I have been traveling for 37 years . It was stressful and not very friendly. When you have to pay for every single thing separately, it is a facade - the site is just trying to get more and more money. It is not helpful. I wanted to use the $50.00 coupon as well and that was never mentioned or offered. I said that I was not able to pay for the expensive seats and the computer auto booked them and wouldn't let me change it. I waited quite some time for an actual customer service person. I told the chat person several times that I did not have the money for the expensive seats. She told me on chat that it would only be $145 and it looks as though it was charged $342. I would still really appreciate someone helping me with this and I realize it is not going to happen. I am very disappointed in this site and the assistance I received today. I will not be using and I will not recommend to anyone either. I will go back to Expedia for travel . Word of mouth is the best advertisement and I will not be positively recommending this site. It is not as cheap as it makes it out to be. It is fraudulent advertising .

quick and great booking process and great deals

Chase was GREAT to talk to and he enabled me to save money. I was able to save money by cancelling a reservation and rebooking the same hotel stay dates. I will get money back on my credit card in 7 to 14 business days.

The booking process is easy and the change return date is just 3mins done, also the charge is reasonable!
CheapOair is the best for me if i want to travel. The AI assistant was amazing just ask!
