Package sent back to the sender.

The worst post service company ever.
They claim that wrong address was specified for my orders (it's not true).
No one tried to contact me. They have my phone number and email.
I was waiting my packages for one month, they even didn't try to deliver it, to call/text me.
Now they send it back after of one month of my waiting.
I know that these packages here in Madeira, but I can do nothing to stop the process of sending them back to the sender.
I repeat again: the worst post service company ever.
Avoid at all costs.

UK/USA packages

They just keep what they like at the costums, no other way to put it.
Please avoid at all costs if you want to keep your portuguese costumers happy.
The system its built against the costumer, CTT gets away too easy, complaint service is uselless.

ZERO star

Zero stars. They are not able to deliver an Amazon package. The address is incomplete (lie!). CTT has a postal address and telephone number. But it's easier not to send the package and leave it at that, despite the several emails I sent without any response from CTT. The service is so bad that it cannot even be considered mediocre.

Bad experience, beware of disapointment by CTT Coreiros

Zero stars. They can not deliver a package from Amazon. Adress is not correct (it is correct). CTT has mail adress and telephone number. But it is easier to sent the package return sender! Never mind though, it is “only” a gift for Christmas. Service is below zero. And you can not even complain. It looks like delivering postal packages in Portugal is Rocket Science.
I went on search for my package and visited the postoffice twice. First time i had to be patient, the second time they said “it means nothing…”.
I was fed up and went for the third(!) time to another postoffice. As i was asuming, the package was send return sender right away… so, the do lie in the face. So CTT Coreiros: zero stars from a very disapointed client.

Lost Parcel… no one cares

Parcel sent to Portugal. Surprised to get a customs clearance bill. It is a gift… but ok. Then selected to have to parcel retuned. That was more than three months ago. Nobody knows anything, getting endlessly transferred from one person to the next over the phone, all of them annoyed by your request. Almost get the feeling they are trying to make your life difficult because you opted not to pay the customs clearance.

There is nothing helpful

There is nothing helpful, honest, or constructive i could say about CTT. Lost packages, failed deliveries, garbage customer service... They should just shut down and let someone else take over. A dog on a unicycle would do a better job than these hacks.

CTT refuses to answer complains afte a lousy service

CTT refuses to answer complains, just send a meaningless reply to all questions. I send 3 mails about the same issue, about the register of a package and for all CTT said it was no register for it.
The package code started with a Q and in the site is written:
If the object's shipping code starts with "Q," it means that the sender opted for a CTT service that only registers information until the moment the object is accepted by CTT. Therefore, there is no available information about the object's journey beyond its acceptance into the CTT network.
But there is no register of the acceptance and CTT say the package should have no register when the acceptance should be registered. They just don't register packages to hide the delay between the date in the international courrier delivery to the CTT and the date of the delivery to the customer.
I have packages who took less time from China to Portugal, including the delay in customs, than the deliver since the CTT are handling the package.
To hide this really bad service CTT don't register the packages and don't answer to my questions.
As seen, this is among the worst rated companies, with complains within the authorities. CTT should be replaced with a real courrier company as is not able to perform as other europeans mail systems.

Second time of over 15 minutes trying…

Second time of over 15 minutes trying and this time failing to post a small 2kg parcel. Assistant disappears for 3 minutes whilst the other just looks blankly at paper and computer ignoring others behind me
After over 15 minutes assistant says I have to fill a tax form in electronically to send the baby floats as her machine wasn’t working. 4 parcels an hour can’t see CTT lasting on postal services

All shipping in Portugal is Terrible

All shipping in Portugal is Terrible. I do not order anything that needs to be shipped. Waste of time and money. All of the shipping companies are terrible. Don’t order anything online. You will be sorry. It will cost you an arm and a leg. Then it will get lost or stolen.

Absolute Shambles

Tracking a parcel is an absolute shambles. Parcel has not moved on their website since 8th September. raised a complaint on the 8th and to this date there has been no response. Parcel should have gone to the UK but ended up in New York USA. No explanation given and no apology, despite having emailed 3 times CTT on this matter. All the correct information was supplied to CTT and the package had a very large address label clearly showing UK as the destination. Use another company to send your parcels.

minus 10. They just do not care. They lie, they lie, and they lie. Next time, when I make an order, I check if this is the carrier, I cancel for ctt. That is the solution. The delivery money, they take but they do not do the job. They hold it in their offices. In that case, I just go to buy from the shop, no need to drive 20 miles to their office to get the package. A disgrace to the profession. CTT should be ashamed of itself but thieves have no self-esteem for shame.

CTT - No words to explain

No words to comment my last experience.
Yesterday, Set., 6, somehow, they didn't deliver a parcel due to service delays, so they said on the phone contact center.
Moreover, they just don't know when the deliver will occur.
On the tracking page, only few minutes to close the interval of time due to deliver, they said it was Impossible to comply.
Too bad.

Sent small parcel as a gift for my mother to Portugal in May from UK, it never arrived and then got returned to me 3 months later. I re-sent it using track and trace and it has been sitting in Lisbon customs since the beginning of August. I gave my mother the tracking number and she has had no luck contacting them, saying this morning their website has crashed. Customs declaration was filled in at UK post office and stuck onto package. Reading blogs and comments online it appears that people should travel to Lisbon offices of CTT, queue for hours and pay customs an undetermined amount and they might possibly then receive their package! This is if all goes well!

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful! I mailed a tube of a piece of art I made to gift to my cousin. I sent it in May! There was no value that had not been scratched out. Customs decided that they would try to swindle some money from me 80 euros?!? I said no. It was returned on the 24th of JULY! I put it back in the post in the 26th of July and it’s still hasn’t been delivered. It left UK on the 1st of August but apparently it was only in Portugal on the 8th of August?!?! On the 17th of August after paying it was authorised to leave customs on this date. We are now September 4th and it has yet been delivered. I called today September 4th and spoke to someone at 14:05 in English . I was told that it was authorised on the 1st. I was No it was authorised on the 17th. It was authorised to leave the coffin on the 1st?!? Coffin? I do speak Portuguese but it’s much easier for me in English. I started to speak in Portuguese and she explained that it was authorised to be delivered on September 1st. Which is so different then what she said in English. I said perhaps you should to a review on your English. Typically Portuguese she alerted me that she is Portuguese and is under no obligation to speak in English since she is in Portugal. Well frankly that is some serious typical deflection on the real issues and perpetuates typical discrimination. Why work for a company that has an option to speak to someone in English if they are going to be typical fascistic!!! Other than this I was told there has been a high volume in receiving parcels in customs?!? Maybe because it was the month of August and everyone is on holidays?!? Perhaps being better organised, less rude and less incompetent would benefit the Mail in Portugal. It’s disgusting!
