Very nice place for short and long stay. Surprisingly pool area is not busy even though its full season and most apartments are busy. Good activities facility. We will definitely come again soon

It’s a beautiful and fully equiped house in beautiful surroundings. Love the backyard, so close to the sea. We’re enjoying our holiday to the fullest!

Lovely cottage in a lovely environment. Very quit and deer in the backyard. The garden is however not sealed as mentioned so with our dog we had to improvise. However overall a lovely spot to stad.

Dancenter has a large variety of high-quality cottages at a good price. We are once again very satisfied with the cabin.

The sommerhouse was great and lovely towns near by.

We liked the appartment very much. It was above expectations. The space, the environment, the equipment, beds, everything was fine. The help desk was very friendly and helpful to our questions.
What we did not like was the cleaning charge of € 139 (!) afterwards. Ridiculous, because we left the appartment spotless. Of course we have paid the bill, we had to. Therefore we will consider to avoid to book a Dancenter house in the future. We don't want to be surprised with extra unnecessary costs.

I enjoyed the stay and holiday itself very much. However, after the stay extra costs were charged. This was like 6 weeks later or so without proper explanation. When I asked to explain it took a long time, communication was difficult and sometimes I found it even intimidating. For me this has ruïned the overall experience and I will never book with this company again.

The house was lovely but Dancenter were terrible to deal with and I would avoid booking one of their properties again.
They add loads of extra charges, these were more than advertised because they hadn’t updated their website so although we were aware of the charges they were more than expected. Afterwards they then duplicate charged my credit card, and although they agreed they needed to refund me they then never did - I kept arguing with their AI that would say they were processing a refund but then would come back and question it. In the end I had to get the refund through my credit card company.
Difficult to deal with and would not recommend.

Really bad experience two years in a row. They kept requesting payment months after the trip, either for amounts that had already been paid or were never agreed upon at the time of booking. I won’t make the mistake of booking through them a third time.

⚠️ Be cautious when booking holiday houses with them ⚠️
I received an invoice of 1,100 DKK for so-called "cleaning" after my stay. The place was already left in a clean condition, but they claimed there was “peanut-sized dust on the floor” and charged for unnecessary cleaning.
They seem to inspect the house after checkout with a microscope to find any excuse to bill extra — and the invoice came 3 weeks after checkout. Very unfair and unprofessional practice.
If you plan your holiday, stay away from them unless you want surprise bills long after your trip. Bilagsnr. 668678

Nice house - but!! A/C u/s - cold wx. No folder telling Wi-Fi code, disposal of garbage etc. (found out) watermeter reading, smart TV function + +.
Despite these minor problems a fine week

When I arrived at the home there were no linens that I had paid for. I had to travel to another town to pick them up in a box behind the DanCenter; however, there were not enough linens provided that I had paid for. There was also a broken chair found upside down and the bathtub leaked immediately when turned on so it was unusable.

Ekstra fees to pay at the end. Asks for at Call from the lokal Office, but still waiting.

Everything was shit and the bath was dirty and there was not clean after the last family.

with this kind of house it would be helpful to have more than 1 key

DanCenter always sends me an invoice for extra cleaning—without providing any proper reasoning or justification. Apparently, it’s considered humanly impossible to clean the rented house yourself without being charged an extra 1,100 DKK (around 140 EUR). Personally, I don’t want to pay for extra cleaning—I find the fee quite high, and I have no issue cleaning myself. I’ve never left a rented house dirty; in fact, I always leave it in better condition than when I arrived. Still, I consistently receive these invoices, justified only with the vague statement: "This is what our cleaning crew told us." This has happened to me over five times now.
When contacting customer service, you’re met with responses like: "I'm not responsible for our invoicing guidelines," or "You'll need to speak with the cleaning department." And when you do reach out to the cleaning staff, they ask for photos of a clean house as a requirement to even consider a refund. As a normal human being, I intuitively don't see the need to document every peace of dust I find, when I enter a house, and don't document every spot I've cleaned. Yet DanCenter demands exactly that. The photos they sent me as “evidence” of a dirty house included a single hair on the toilet, an oven I hadn't use, and a tiny piece of fluff next to the firewood—something that could easily have fallen off the logs after we left. I am not overstating this, it is genuinely insane.
In the past, customer service would sometimes acknowledge that this wasn’t fair, and you could get your money refunded after a quick phone call—still frustrating, but at least manageable. That’s no longer the case. It's now close to impossible to get any refund. I was once invoiced over 5,000 DKK for an entirely new table, which they claimed we had damaged. After explaining that this wasn’t us, they eventually dropped the charge. But it was obvious that DanCenter already knew this—it felt like they were just testing whether we’d be naïve enough to pay without protest.
DanCenter checks and often takes "after” photos of the property for every stay (I speak from experience), so it’s clear they must know when any damage occurs. And yet they still invoice subsequent renters for damage that was clearly caused earlier. That is mind-blowing to me. It comes across less like poor management and more like a deliberate strategy to extract extra money from regular customers.
Summa summarum, after more than five rentals through DanCenter, I can confidently say the following:
- They expect you to clean the property to an unreasonably high and practically unattainable standard.
- They always try to invoice you—either for cleaning or for damages you didn’t cause and sometimes weren’t even aware of.
- Their customer service is shit, often dismissive, and at times even rude—like they already know what you’re about to complain about.
Luckily, I feel this experience with Dancenter is becoming common knowledge in Denmark.
Conclusion: Don’t use DanCenter, so they can be put out of business or up their standards - with all due respect :))

Since check-in time is 16:00 and DanCenter offices close at 17:00, there is only a maximum of 1 hour to reach DanCenter in the event there are questions or problems. As travelers from the US, we don't have a telephone, so we must use the messaging feature to contact the staff at DanCenter before 17:00, and count our lucky stars that we receive a response before their offices close.

Upon arrival, after a good 9 hours of driving, there appears to be no key in the key safe. After 16:00, no one can be reached personally. By telephone, after a series of menu options, finally someone on the phone. It turns out that he speaks very poor English and is somewhere in India. We are sent to the local office where no one is. We call again. Another Indian. He does not understand the local situation. The only advice: find a hotel yourself and declare the bill as soon as there is someone in the office again. In other words, sort it out yourself. The next day, the bill was neatly reimbursed and a badly fitting key was received. This is not how you want to start your holiday. My advice: make sure that someone can be reached personally in the local office until at least 20:00. After the guests have left, check whether the house has been left clean and then check or make sure that there is a key in the safe.
