I have watched cycling on Discoveryplus for several years. It used to be £6.99 per month and there were no adverts. Now it is £33.99 per month with lengthy advert breaks every 15 minutes. They would n... See more

Horrendous, want my money back.
Signed up for Australian Open via Prime channel, but no catch ups, terrible app, terrible quality. Shocked that they can get away with this and actually have the audacity to charge money for the pleasure.
Worse than useless
Worse than useless. I thought europort was bad enough but when I tried to upgrade it for Australian open it redirected me to discovery+. On demand is now just a huge mass of all games jumbled together with no search facility. Impossible to use. We have just spent 2 hours looking for a doubles match which we know was played an have its result but could not find the video. Avoid this app.
This service is beyond awful
The coverage of the Australian Open on Discovery+ is beyond awful. It might be ok if you live in Australia or stay up all night in Europe to watch live coverage, but the catch up service is non existent. I expected to see full matches available a few hours after they had finished but that was wishful thinking, couldn't find any of them and laughably when I clicked on one of the matches labelled it joined it half way through the third set. Who on earth signed off on this at Discovery? Missed all the matches I wanted to see. It's a complete scattergun mess of a service.
Appalling!
This must be the absolute worst user experience ever, subscribed to watch Australian Open and it's literally impossible to find the matches. Appalling !
Unbelievably bad…
Unbelievably bad Australian Open coverage which is the only reason I paid £7.99 via Amazon Prime. Really regret it. I thought it might improve after the first couple of days but actually it's got worse. Complete waste of money.
Discovery + is so very bad both the…
Discovery + is so very bad both the Complementary package from Sky and Prime / Discovery + for the coverage of Australian tennis 2022. It is not accessible and not user friendly. I resent even the £7.99 spent on Discovery + in fact it is not fit for purpose. I really feel anger that it purports to deliver a streaming service. Will never use it again.
Prime Videos coverage of tennis is superb.
Australian Open Coverage via Prime - Awful
As many, many others have said - the Australian Open coverage provided on Prime via Discovery+ is terrible. It reminds me of the very first US Open coverage that Prime handled, which was similarly awful. I'm surprised Prime have allowed any coverage they provide, be it first party or via another service as here, to be so bad again.
Frequently duplicated content on the live channels; no option to choose from all in-play matches (despite this being offered if you subscribe directly through Discovery+, I think...?); streaming quality is awful and inconsistent, rising and dropping at random every 20s or so at times; replays aren't labelled so it's literally guesswork; some replays start midway through, or near the end of, previous matches, so you have results spoiled for you as you frantically click around in the vain hope you stumble across the match you're looking for... just awful.
From previous experiences when watching Eurosport via a channel subscription paid for on Prime, I'm loathe to raise any issues with support. It has previously been a teeth-grinding experience of back and forth buck-passing, with useless customer service completely unable to respond to time-sensitive issues when a live sports tournament is ongoing. Now that there are THREE services involved - Prime, Discovery+ and Eurosport - I can only imagine how tough it would be to get any one of them to admit responsibility for anything
Just woeful.
Zero stars.
Zero stars.
Hopeless useless.
Paid to watch the Australian Open. What a total waste of my money. None of the videos are labelled so you have no idea what you're going to see. None of the catch up videos are labelled so it's pot luck what match you see. Sometimes there's a few parts of random matches on the same video. Absolutely disgusting. Want a refund but they won't give me one. Don't sign up.
Discovery plus via Amazon…
Signed up to Discovery plus via Amazon Prime in order to watch all the Australian Open replays, no replays available. Cancelled that subscription and signed up directly with Discovery Plus and so far that seems to be ok, all the replays I've wanted to see have been available.
It’s a shambles
I am livid. Subscribed to discovery plus to watch the Australian open tennis. It’s impossible to determine which match you are about to view. I inadvertently opened the end of Andy Murray’s match so saw the result before seeing the beginning. After plenty of searching I have been unable to find Emma Raducanu’s match. The whole thing is a shambles.
Terrible AO coverage
Terrible AO coverage. The offer is different on each format - I've checked Windows, Ipad, android phone and TV app and they each show different things! No catch up at all. Picture quality is poor. Nothing is labelled so you have to open a page to find what court is on and most are not covered (Prime covered every court at the US Open).
To get this you need to pay for Prime and then Eurosport via Discovery+ (which has nothing else of any interest at all). And to top it all you have to endure adverts between games.
Absolute rubbish compared to Amazon Prime coverage.
Why oh why do discovery + not give any…
Why oh why do discovery + not give any information about which matches are being shown on the Australian Open 2022 ????? This is the ONLY reason I purchased a subscription - which I have just cancelled. I have to find out myself by going through the schedule on my smartphone to try and match up what I want to see !!! It is a complete nonsense!!!! At least Prime gives information on who is playing matches, on which Courts, when they cover other tennis tournaments!!! IF ONLY PRIME WOULD COVER MORE OPENS !!!!!!! AAAAAGH !!!!!
Absolutely useless coverage
Absolutely useless coverage. Same match on 2 channels. No choices. No player identification. No replays. So disappointing.
Riddled with technical difficulties , not even worth it.
Seriously, they have all of the best shows! HOWEVER ALL OF THE SHOWS FREEZE IN THE MIDDLE OF PLAYING THEM. Not only that, they freeze my entire computer!! And when I try to use google cast on my TV it doesn't work. Discoveryplus was one of the only streaming services I was actually willing to pay for but youre not reading the reviews and fixing the problem. If you are a streaming service, ahem, netflix, amazon prime, etc, your most valuable asset is the streaming. Even moreso then the shows themselves in some instances. This company is losing so much money right now and if you take THREE SECONDS to look at the reviews you would know how to fix it and turn this around and become a profitable business considering how in-demand most of your titles and networks youre working with (TLC for example) are.
Get a freakin grip!!
The Australian Open coverage Useless
The Australian Open coverage is utterly useless. I would give it 0 stars if possible. Amazon Prime coverage was great but Eurosport have made no effort at all. It is sickening to see such pathetic coverage of a great sporting event. You can't even find replays by match. Who on earth dreamed up this dreadful arrangement.
Terrible experience with Eurosport on Discovery
Terrible experience with Eurosport on discovery. Kept buffering, freezing and skipping. I have a 4 year old smart TV. It has no problems with any other app. Discovery customer services tells me my download speeds are not fast enough. I have Sky Superfast internet. Then I was told my TV was the problem even after I had already told them it has no issue with any other app, only the Eurosport on Discovery. I gave up in the end as I was continually told the issue must me mine! I cancelled my subscription before the end of the trial period.
Very sad that I won’t be able to watch the Australian Open tennis. Can’t understand why Amazon Prime has let it go as the coverage on Prime was superb. Australia isn’t even in Europe, so why are Eurosport covering it ?!
Not recommended if you are a sports fan. Will I try it again? Maybe to see if it has got it’s act together, but will dump it pretty quickly if not. Nothing worse than getting into an exciting match and then having all that crap happened for the remainder of it. (Excuse language) It doesn’t have a great deal else to offer beside Eurosport that you can’t find more of in abundance and better on other platforms.
Complete Waste of Time and Money Only to be Abused by their Horrible Support Team
After weeks of wasting my time because I had to write lengthy responses for THEIR app issues, them forcing me to download iPhone updates so it “fixes the problem” (it only made things worse) then saying they’ll update me because their “engineering team” is fixing it (that was also a lie), they only NOW told me they don’t support my Apple TV device. Why did this take almost a month??? They won’t even tell me why this took so long and keep avoiding all my questions about their horrible lack of accountability, inconsistency, and unreliability.
Their support team didn't know what to do half the time and would send me support instructions that had nothing to do with the devices I own. They refuse to take any accountability for the issues they caused on my phone or for wasting my time the past few weeks with inaccurate information. They have no idea what's going on with their own app and are suppressing all the negative feedback they have in the Apple app store.
Absolute Shambles
Eurosport no longer accepts subscriptions, says to use Discover+ instead. Discovery+ does not accept subscriptions via an Apple device, says to come back on December 7 (yesterday). Nothing. It’s a complete joke.
Service minding is undefined
Service minding is undefined when it comes to this service in Denmark. I have reported two obviouse bugs. The customer service behaved like I am an old guy and doesn't know anything about IT until I told him I am a programmer I work with streaming systems. He gave me such a narrow-minded suggestion that I have never heard anywhere... In the end he said, I have no time for you and he left. Disgusting! I pay you and you even don't have time to help me out with my issue! Absolutely disgusting!
