I've only given Dreams 4 out of 5 because of the delivery experience we had, apart from that, we couldn't fault them at all. The guy in the Southend branch was beyond good at his job, he explained everything to us, gave us good advice and made it easy for us to choose our new mattress and pillows. The thing that wasn't so great is paying £25 for 2 delivery guys to take a mattress upstairs, without unpacking it, or making sure it was the right way round... for me, about £20 too expensive!

We have just had a fantastic experience at the Southend branch of Dreams, thanks to the brilliant service from Paul. From the moment we walked in, he took the time to guide both myself and my wife through the Sleepmatch system, which really helped us understand the kind of mattress that would suit us best. It was definitely worth doing — we quickly narrowed it down to a great selection that met our needs.
Paul was incredibly patient and knowledgeable, showing us a variety of options and encouraging us to try them out with different pillows. What really stood out was how he made the whole family feel included — even our two kids were engaged and made to feel part of the experience. We were all offered drinks too, which was a lovely touch.
There was never any pressure, just honest advice and genuine support. With Paul’s help, we found the perfect mattress, and the whole process felt relaxed and enjoyable.
If you’re heading to Dreams in Southend, definitely ask for Paul — top-notch service from start to finish. Highly recommended!
