Absolutely terrible all around
Non existent phone support, chat support is a lame attempt at a joke (Ana just up and right copy pasted one paragraph, asked if she could help with anything else and closed the chat right after, all in the span of two seconds). Deliveries are a lottery, preordered a 16 Pro Max on 13th Sept at 15:07, just 7 minutes after the pre orders have started and still not even an inch of progress on at least updating me on the status of the order. Meanwhile, my girlfriend placed a pre-order on the 21st or something like that and it’s being delivered tomorrow. Absolutely horrendous experience. Also, writing ‘reviews’ on the products isn’t allowed if you criticise their service or poor handling of the order, they just reject your comment entirely. I’d rather trust a homeless man to sell me candies than this pathetic joke of a company.

E-mag persists on their stup_dity. After a few months of my Wallet being cancelled (buy now pay later) I asked them again why did they do this. They say they have algorithm who does this suspension, and they have confidential de 50 criteria to give or not the possibility of "wallet" to clients. I told them that the reason is that I made some returns during the 60 days that they gave me the right to return without reason. Though, I specified the reason, that they had there on the checklist that I found the items cheaper, and then to the next checklist I specified where, eMag, and not another site. So, they admit the reason of being cheaper as a reason for return, but they punish me by cancellation of Wallet. They are disrespectful for this and have unfair practices towards clients. As for the eMag marketplace Partners, most of them have their own sites, where they sell their product mostly with the same price or less, and only very rarely they sell on eMag cheaper, on the day of their "Offer of the day". I am glad, that four years ago, when the pandemia started I made in two weeks purchases of electric and electronic appliances of about 5000 euro from another online shop in Romania. Anyway, from eMag I purchased for more, during the last 10 years or more, and I am sorry for that now. I will think twice, and then again twice before I will make any purchase from eMag again.

Three stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 because is not all bad but not all good. I had some good and bad experiences. Everything ok until you ask for a refund due to a damaged product or a product which has not arrived. For products which are damaged, low quality, incorect measurements and so on, the delivery money are never refunded / returned back to you. They only refund / return you the product money but never the delivery money. Is like they blame you because the emag seller sends you a incorect product, damaged and so on. For products which do not arrive you have to wait months for a refund. I ordered a expensive product which never arrived. The expected delivery time was few days, it has been arround a month and the product never arrived. I contacted emag a week ago and I have not heard anything back. I contacted them via the chat two times and via the email multiple times. Issue has never been resolved and now for the past three days they are no longer responding to me. I will fait few more days and if I dont hear anything back, I will report the transaction to my bank as fraud. My bank will deal with them if they refuse to return my money back. If you really need to use emag, best is to never pay before and pay when the product arrives with cash if this option is available. One more thing, they only accept positive reviews. Negative reviews for peoducts are deletede / not posted because it does not comply with their policies. The reviews are checked by emag before they post them on products, if it is positive they post it, if is negative they dont post the review. Good marketing strategies, refuse to post negative reviews so customers only see positive reviews which will increase the chance of purchasing the products from them. Emag, take examples from Amazon!!! These negative things never happen on Amazon, thats why they are the biggest.

I want to share my adventure with eMAG, which I would call "Mission: Impossible". On August 5, 2024, I ordered a shower, with the delivery promised to be within 14 days. The order was prepaid, so I thought everything was fine.
After two weeks, I checked my profile and saw that the order was marked as "delivered", but in reality, the shower was still just a figment of my imagination. I contacted support, and the agents told me they would inquire with the store, as if they were trying to discover the elixir of eternal youth.
Another week passed, and I asked again – this time hoping that someone high up would notice my persistence. Instead, I got another "we will contact the store". Meanwhile, my bathroom contractor was becoming increasingly frustrated, so I asked to speak with someone higher up to resolve the issue. Of course, this was ignored with useless questions.
After countless attempts to explain that I no longer wanted the shower since it had been over a month, I decided to order a shower from China, which arrived in a week. eMAG, however, continued to tell me that my order was on hold. Then came the climax: I received a call from customs about VAT, which was on the border. Is this possible? Yes, it turned out that it was the eMAG shower, but the address was incorrect!
Then FedEx called to inform me that I had a package. I told them I wanted to return it, and they explained that I needed a return number from eMAG. I contacted eMAG again, and in response, I received even more ridiculous information – on Monday, I was promised a refund within 2 to 5 days, but today I heard something completely different.
The entire situation feels like a complete mockery.
I don’t know why I even bother to leave a review here, as I see it’s all just one-star ratings and nobody replies.

Extremely poor customer service
Extremely poor customer service, for an order eMAG should not have offered to begin with. (Because they finally figured out they do not provide it!)
Ordered a washing machine and the assembly service on august 4. On Aug 14, eMAG informed me that they actually do not provide assembly service in my town (Brasov). It took them 9 calendar days to realize this.
Therefore I decided to return it. Today, August 21, they still have not picked up the product they erroneously sold me. It is a huge inconvenience:
1. Wasting valuable time on at least 7 occasions trying to fix the issue with the eMAG chatbot. Total lack of respect to customers, not having a real customer support.
2. The machine is sitting in the lobby, inconveniencing getting around my house
3. Of coursed they have not returned my money yet. Because they are not picking it up.
Really exceptionally poor customer service from eMAG. Recommend anyone who needs delivery and assembly to go dear another provider - this company is just subpar.
You run a high risk at wasting your time, being disrespected and having your money held up.

I had received an email on my new email adress letting me know I have created an account woth them and also with an order on my name which was made in another town which I haven’t ever been ever in my life and the person that would pick up the order were by a man who shared the same surname as me. I did not had any account on that email for Emag but still it happened.I tried reach them and ask to delete that account made on my name and explain to them I am not in the country and I have an account with them but on another email adress,but still no Reply! This is a leak of personal data and useful information could also be leaked. Not trusty at all!
Extremely Disappointing Experience with Returning a Damaged Product
I had an extremely disappointing experience with eMAG. I ordered a mirror, but the product arrived shattered, clearly due to improper packaging for such a fragile item. Immediately after receiving the damaged product, I contacted Customer Service to request a return and a refund. I was instructed to submit a return request, even though the product was in pieces, posing a risk of injury to anyone handling the package.After submitting the return request, it was automatically canceled after a few days without any explanation. I had to contact Customer Service again and submit another return request. Instead of receiving a refund, I was surprised the next day with a replacement mirror that I never asked for.I was then instructed to personally send back both products, which is unreasonable given the size and weight of the items, especially considering that the issue was caused by eMAG. Additionally, eMAG only communicates with customers via email, avoiding direct and efficient problem-solving.I tried to leave a review about the product I received, but eMAG did not allow me to do so, claiming that my review was not specific enough about the product. In reality, I clearly stated that the product arrived broken, but my review was rejected.This entire experience has left me with a bitter taste, and I’m losing trust in eMAG. I do not recommend this company, and I will think twice before ordering anything from them again.
