Mixed feelings

A lot of mixed feelings here.
They have a great variety, but the quality is so unpredictable.
I am not sure if the item's reviews correspond to the true quality, and it's always a hassle to compare the dozen or so choices.
I'd suggest they have premium/trusted vendors that are easily distinguishable from the rest so the buyer has an easier time. It's just the worst to spend time picking a product, buying it, waiting for delivery, and then seeing that it does not represent what was advertised.
In the end, that's how it is with such vendor-buyer marketplaces.

Be very careful when you buy from them

My parents received a small package on Monday, claiming that it was from the ones already ordered. And they received a product they didn't need with an original label but from the old order. They asked, by email with my help, to return the product via Fan Courier, I sent all the necessary data to return my money, it cost 110 lei. Now we are waiting for the problem to be fixed and the money to be recovered. Be very careful what and how you buy from eMag and check what you receive from the courier.

No customer care, no respecting delivery tome

With no possibility to discuss with someone, the delivery is VERY LATE! The deliver time was 31st of October. We are 5 of November and no delivery, nu message that they will be late, nothing. Shame EMAG. It seems that being big, you do not care about your customers

Ordered a product never received asked…

Ordered a product never received asked for refund got half of my money back and im still chasing my money after 4 months, 2 weeks ago i got an email they said they really sorry what happened and i will get back the rest of it within 8 working days.. well im still waiting i sent an another email it will take 4 more weeks for them to respond.. today finally i decided do report them to the police with a group of people who are in the same situation, we all crossing our fingers to shut down the entire company as soon as possible because it’s not a Romanian Amazon it’s a scam company robbing people where they can. Hope they all ending up in jail!

Never ever order here!

Never ever order here!
I lost my money after my Package was send back by mistake.
The website says it will automatically pay you back once an order is send back. But they don't!

Its impossible to contact them and there is no reply on emails.

Be very very careful ordering here. Once Amazon takes over in Romania it's all over for Emag.

EMAG-be careful!

EMAG model themselves along the Amazon lines but have missed the key point which is to look after the buyers on the platform over the sellers!

Becuase of this EMAG can be a great place to shop when everything runs smoothly, with a large choice of products all in one place. But a bit of a nightmare if you need help in ANY way.

Customer support is hard to get hold off. In fact the company has gone a long way to hide any real support diverting 99% of queries to AI, which is pretty useless.

Reviews of products do not show faulty or problematic issues as EMAG has a policy not to allow these reviews which show its sellers products in a bad, be it a true light.

Their return policy is arguably the best

Their return policy is arguably the best. I have a really good experience every time I have to order or return a product, it's simple, easy and I trust them: something you don't say often about an online store. If I buy a product which is their own (not a thirds party) it is delivered next day almost every time.

I received a cheaper version of the product

I bought a product and received a cheaper version it. I made a request to return the product with no response. After many, many tries I managed to get in contact with someone from customer service who assured me the issue will be resolved. A month has passed, I got no feedback, the return request was silently canceled with no explanation and I cannot make a new return request because the valid return time has passed.

No wonder why emag is rated BAD

No wonder why this shop is rated as bad. Have an order since 18th of September (now is 10th of October), not shipped (but paid) , not even an AWB created. Contacted them to cancel the order (an useless support, with automated responses), because in my account i don`t have the option to cancel, only option was to return products, how can i return what never was delivered? :) . I tried and they even approved the return, this is insane. Too bad that there is no way to give 0 stars, because of their customer support and they accepted to collaborate with other web-shops without any responsibility, soon they`ll became rated as a scam :( .

I am a customer for over 10 years and…

I am a customer for over 10 years and the customer service now is something that really makes me wanna dropt them.
When I had some problems a while back was so easy and simple to contact them get in touch with someone and solve the problem. Now....it's almost impossible. It makes the whole experience annoying and time consuming and frustrating.

Yes you do have lots of options there and sellers to choose from, and you also have to be careful from who you order but this is just like on any other website like this.
What bothers me is the fact that I either loose my mind if I have a problem or I just accept that there is nothing I can do and loose money.

No HUMAN Customer Support? Fine! Bye bye emag!

I wanted to place an order recently and I faced difficulties during the online payment process, so I decided to contact the Customer Support in order to ask for help or further guidance. I've been an emag customer for years and I knew that they had a nice, reliable, polite and trustworthy customer support service in the past, but I didn't order anything from them for a while and it seems like something changed in the meantime. They removed the human customer support entirely! And there is no way to get in touch with them: no call center phone number, no contact form, no email address, nothing! Their robot in the chat is useless and only displays a limited list of potential issues that customers may encounter which doesn't cover all situations that may occur in real life. When you ask the robot to transfer you to a human agent, they instruct you to select an option from the list and when you do that, they further show you another list to choose from without any option to ask to speak to a human agent. You end up just going in circles without finding the answer to your actual problem and without being able to reach real customer support. It's frustrating and disappointing. Emag isn't what it used to be anymore and the worst and saddest part is that they don't respect their customers anymore. But it's fine. I can turn to other options: Amazon and Chinese websites are more attractive and more trustworthy right now. Not to mention, they show more respect to their customers. Bye bye emag!

No customer support phone number, full of shady resellers

No customer support. They only have a chat bot that guides you through a menu and provides you a link to read terms and conditions. It solves nothing else then increasing your blood pressure. Even if you do manage to reach a person per chat or email, NOT phone, they will solve nothing.
The site is full of shady chines sellers and of "one men show" companies, that will do anything in their power to ignore you if you have any problems with the products they sell.
There is no filter for "Sold by Emag" only "Shipped by Emag" so you can't filter out other seller.
The shipping fees are huge.
I found out that I can get way better deals and better customer support if I shop from big online stores from abroad ( ex: Amazon de/at/it..).
