Terrible company, worse than scammers

It's a company that ignores basic rules of commerce and common sense. It takes them more than 24 hours to find a solution caused by a disfunctionality in their ordering system. They take your money and afterwards change the date of delivery and don't give you confirmation of payment, although the money is gone from the account. Their client service department is a joke, terrible company. They limit the communication channel with them to website chat because they know they are confronting too many complaints. You can't leave a bad review for a product sold on their website, nor a review on google about them. They are worse than scammers.

honestly a disappointing experience

I placed an order, paid for everything properly, including the service to collect my old appliance. Guess what? It doesn’t show up anywhere on the order. Nothing. Vanished into thin air.

Trying to contact them? Good luck. There’s basically no real phone number where an actual human answers. Just bots sending you in circles. Their support system feels like a maze designed to test your patience, not to help you.

Information is incomplete, the options you select magically disappear, and when you try to get answers, you get the classic “please check in the app.” Yeah, super helpful… if the app actually showed what you paid for.

Honestly, their service quality has been going downhill. Lots of marketing, very little responsibility.

Not recommended. If you pay for extra services, don’t be surprised if you never see them delivered — maybe not even by 2050.

They are cowboys and not responding to the emails or online chat at all. Placed an order which apparently was rejected by the delivery company without and clear reason. No ones gives any explanation.

not a trustworthy company

I have bought various products from them for years, in 2025 they were not able to deliver even a single order to me according to what I selected and paid for. In support they call human errors what sellers intentionally send at a lower weight or cheaper product than the one I paid for if they do not even send counterfeit products sometimes. Now I have another order that was supposed to be delivered to easybox yesterday and it was delayed for another 6 days, they apologize and offer no reason. Shame on them.

Horrible scam

Comments on fake products for warning the users are mostly declined, no feature to report fake products and scams, expensive shipping (around 50 packs a car x 3$ shipping = 150$, way more than than the oil the car needs), sets high prices before black friday, shipping status often mistaken (the app said it is on its way but after contacting support it was actually forgotten in the warehouse)...

Emag is scam. Emag is not proceeding returns!

Emag.ro has scammed me. I ordered an expensive product, a pair of UGG, and i asked to retirn them as I had doubta they were original. They kept lying me they take care of my request, but they never proceeded with the return. So I ended up with a product which i don't like and cannot wear. I tried to leave a review with the bad experience I had with them, but they never published my review. Watch out and always address authorities when you expereince scams from this site.

Scamers

I paid for a product on 11.11 and it should have been delivered latest on 13.11. On 14,11 I received a message that my order will arrive on 17.11 the latest. This was last communication from them. On 18, 20 and 21.11, I entered their chat to recover my money. Although the operator told me that he verified in their system and my order will not be delivered (due to some problems with the delivery company which, by the way, is a company owned also by Emag), she said that I will receive my money back in 2-5 working days after the delivery company will put a special status in their system. How is this possible? I have no contract with the delivery company, I paid directly to Emag. If Emag is sure that the order will not be delivered why doesn't reimburse the money of their clients instantly?
There is only one answer: THE BIGGEST FRAUDS AND SCAMERS!

Not even 1, I'm waiting for 2 weeks my order, firs time come damage with missing product, the support tell me that will receive everything replacement of the damage product and the missing product, after 2 weeks I receive missing product but nor replacement, of course customer support on chat don't know how to respond, after. I see that was create new order for 2 damage product and one missing and I must pay, and after another order with missing product!!! The support lazy, they don't know what is doing on, 2 weeks nothing, maybe will get it on the Christmas

A company based on scams and lies! Their way of advertising is aggressive. They say go Genius upfront cost so you’ll have free delivery and next day delivery! Never happens, it takes them almost a week to deliver! Avoid these scammers ! Atleast 80% of the products are fake Chinese stuff that you can get on temu as well for a way better price!

They simply cancelled my orders

I've put 2 orders on Black Friday, and accepted theirs suggestion for delivery point at Sameday locker.
They never dispatched them, there was no messages regarding attempted delivery, and the simply cancelled the orders.
Well, I gave them 1 star because they've refunded me.

I strongly advise everyone to avoid shopping from eMAG. They sell fake and low-quality products, cancel paid orders without explanation, and take ages to deliver anything – if they even deliver at all. I’ve had orders fully paid for weeks in advance suddenly canceled with no clear reason and no proper customer support response. Their delivery system is a mess, and communication is terrible.

eMAG delivered a product with lower specs

eMAG delivered a product with lower specifications than the one advertised and invoiced (order 452734697). I have official proof from the manufacturer that the laptop is 144Hz, not 180Hz. eMAG admitted this non-conformity in writing but refused a legal remedy (replacement or proper price reduction), offering instead a delayed voucher with conditions attached.
This is not how a leading retailer should handle a clear product non-conformity. Check specs !!

I've been a client with them for over…

I've been a client with them for over 13 years. I started buying from them when they were initially selling just PC components, laptops and the usual electronical devices. They grew into one of the biggest online and offline retailers in Romania and maybe the whole of south-eastern of Europe, but that's about all the nice things I have to say about them. They became a marketplace which is now flooded with knock offs, low quality stuff coming from China, their review system does not allow you to say anything negative because it hurts their business ( they obviously get a cut from the people selling on their platform or even sell themselves the cheap/knockoff versions). And last but not least their Black Friday promotions are a joke. They make a lot of noise about their promotions, but they sell out in the first 5 seconds when their app or website start working again. I will try and avoid making purchases from them going forward and will rather go to any other physical store or online competitor.

there is no customer support anymore. You get a bot that spits stupid things and never connects you to a real person to solve your problem. I closed my account and I will buy from places where you can get support.
They think they are smart and save money with AI, but they are not ;)

EMAG became an abusive seller

EMAG became an untrusty and unreliable selling platform and is taking advantage on its marketing position by not publishing the negative review thus you can only assume that a product is what the manufacturer is pretending to be. They don't allow to return a product and they don't return the money to the client because they sell some products under some marketing campaigns so in this case you remain with the product which is not good for you and without the money that were paid to them. To be short I paid a product half voucher issued by them half debit card, I returned the product but they forced me to receive back the product under the threat that they will destroy the product considering this obsolete and they will consider the sell closed. They "settled" this by transferring the issue to the manufacturer. Now I am in the position of fighting to recover my money from the manufacturer and they told me that under this marketing campaign I cannot be refund with any voucher used in the initial transaction. I should have mentioned that EMAG in this case was also seller and deliver at the same time. Currently I am not sure I can get my money back but I am very sure that I will never ever buy anything from this platform again.
