Ok agency. As usual, one needs to read the contract properly and not reliying in the agents word . Smooth moving in, flexible 3 months contract. Got my deposit back.

WORST AGENCY! AVOID IT!
All the good reviews were made by Flintons Staff or their friends, just look the percentage of bad reviews and the dates of it.
They are professional scammers, they use the same tatics with everyone, they post rooms on Badi, Spareroom and others and when you get to the agency they say it's not available anymore.
They say they can't show you the room because are too busy and then show you pictures of it that don't actually correspond to the actual state of the property. I moved to the room that I rented to find it full of the previous tenants belongings, Underwear, towels, bedding and everything dirty. Mouldy bathroom and Kitchen, Mould even inside the fridge and washing machine. The shower broke and they just repaired it after one week because me and the other tenant said we were going to the council. I didn't signed my contract with them and had to make an agreement to get my deposit back saying that I wouldn't take further action, as my deposit has not be refunded in 7 days as they said 3 months ago, I went to a solicitor and will take them to court soon.
Avoid them at all costs!
For the ones that are having problems with them, report them to Action Fraud (google it) to get advice and so we make sure they don't do this to anyone again
All good reviews are fake
All good reviews are fake. If you look at the "positive reviews" each person has only reviewed this company - it's all people that work there or are friends with workers. This company is fraudulent and will completely rip you off and put you in horrible accommodations. We were sold on a really nice place we "couldn't see in person" and as it was so nice decided to go for it. The day of it was "taken back by the landlord" and were shown an allegedly nice ensuite - as we had to move quickly we said yes. Were given the keys and the place was disgusting, unfinished, and completely unlivable. They then place us in a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom house with a total of 5 people (illegal amount for 1 bathroom) for about the same price as the ensuite. This bait and switch tactic is illegal and I really hope this company gets shut down and these criminals get charged. They especially try to take advantage of foreigners who aren't as fluent with English, so beware
The worst agency ever
The worst agency ever. Email many time about my deposit that I should have been received weeks ago. No reply, try to call and they hang up the phone. After several time trying to call back I decided to go to the agency, there was other 4 people in my same situation waiting for the overdue deposit, they was keeping saying we are checking, at the end when we asked why was taking so long, an Italian girl that is working there was really rude and unpolite screaming on us. After 2 hours I managed to take my deposit back. During the tenancy they changed the door to the room without saying nothing and leaving all the room dirty and dusty. Absolutely the worst agency ever!!
Would not be surprised if they were shut down
Started my tenancy 23-10-19, went in the office and was threatened that they were going to take my holding fee and ‘black list me’ saying I turned up to my appointment late despite me being there on time. They didn’t have the keys to my flat so I had to go to the flat to meet builders there who gave me the keys to the flat then I was called and emailed over a few days asking why I hadn’t picked up the keys. I explained the situation and they didn’t understand but it was finally resolved.
No problems for a while however I didn’t need to contact them.
Our internet inexplicably cut out and I emailed every day only to be ignored until a month later when it was finally fixed with a different provider but at a tenth of the speed
Coming out to moving out and they were rude and told me to hand in the keys however my check out date was a Sunday when the office is closed and there was no information about that until the day after. I was charged a late key fee and an extra day of rent costing £106.42.
After a month of waiting to hear about my deposit I got a figure which was around half of what I paid but I didn’t dispute the deposit and was told it was to be paid within ten day, three weeks later no sign of the deposit being returned and despite emailing and phoning every day the best response I’ve had is ‘ Will pass the matter to finance and investigate on the matter of the delay. ‘
I am now seeking legal advice and hope to have the matter resolved. But looking at other reviews now I am not hopeful for anything any time soon.
Absolutely disgusting company
Absolutely disgusting company! Avoid!!! Dishonest liars. My son has waited 10 weeks for his deposit back, they made excuses at first, now completely ignoring his emails, no option but to seek legal advice.
DO NOT USE FLINTONS!!!
DO NOT use this agency!!! I have been waiting for my deposit refund for a few months now, looks like I’m going to have to take legal action and open a court case in pursuit of my deposit, really terrible agency left me in a very difficult position!

THIEVES! The most disgusting company you can ever find
The most disgusting company you can find. All the good reviews are written by the staff!
You will get robbed, won't get back your deposit, might even end up being homeless. Save yourself and avoid Flitnons!
They went bankrupt once because of all the legal depts due to their illegal activities. Probably that will happen again.
DISGUSTING HUMAN BEINGS!
Fraudulent agency
I must say that I was unfortunate not to read the reviews before I rented an apartmwnt with them luckily for me I only stayed for a short period in London and was finding it difficult getting an accomodation close to Mile End. The agents will never allow you see the room first, the rooms are small and everywhere is filthy and as if that’s not enough they will always find a way to steal your deposits, so even if you have to take pictures of every single thing including floors slide by slide and send to them. This is because they must definitely find a way to rip you off . I wonder how an agency can be this fraudulent and still operating. I honestly hope I get a part of my deposit back. Please avoid them as much as you can
Greedy and the worst agent in London
Greedy and the worst agent in London.
DO NOT make any contract with them you will 100% regret.
I reported this agent to the government scheme because they took 30% of your deposit for nothing.
Wonderful and professional service…
Wonderful and professional service great customer service especially by Rogers
Well recommended
Avoid!
Avoid! Do not sign anything and do not accept paying anything without seeing rooms (which they falsely advertise, the rooms are never the ones you contact them initially about)
I’m not having it mate!
Please help save others from being scammed by these fraudulent imbeciles. Report your incident. LETS GET THEM SHUT DOWN ONCE AGAIN! Search actionfraud to do this. Not only will you be helping get justice but also you’ll be given free advice on what to do next.
Get your money back
Guys hit them where they hurt the most, their pockets, don’t pay em, get threatened by them and then send the evidence to dps, follow the process of dispute and the chances of getting your money back are high, this crooks ain’t this smart...
Where will they hide when the revolution comes?, I say we must target and divulge their personal info of each of them! What better payback than being publicly recognised?, keep your wallets away from them peeps, they’re no more than a bunch of rats.

Beware, Flintons will destroy your mental health
This company are filled with scam artists. They have changed their name to Flintons from Citiside.
I went to their office about a property I had seen on SpareRoom, the one bed flat was incredible and just what I wanted. When I arrived (after waiting an hour to speak to my designated agent named Houcine while he went for cigarettes and waltzed around the office) I was told this property had gone. He showed me another property on his computer which I was happy with - he told me that in London estate agents don’t do visits due to the difficulties navigating and time constraints (I was moving to London and Naive so believed him, obviously a show of how they prey on the vulnerable).
I paid a £500 holding fee and left thinking I had found somewhere great to live when I moved down from Huddersfield 3 weeks later.
When I got to the office to collect my keys I was kept waiting 6 hours as ‘there was an issue with my keys’. I paid the remainder of my deposit and first months rent (adding upto around £1500 total), I finally got my keys after the office had officially closed.
I got to the house, entered and what I found caused me to breakdown. The large double room with large windows I had been shown and signed was intact little more than a cupboard. A single bed, wardrobe almost falling apart, mould all up the wall, no window or air supply, a suitcase full of books and ant powder. I looked around the house quickly to find the kitchen and bathroom to be quite frankly disgusting to name one of just a few issues - dried contact lenses scattered all over the bathroom.
I immediately tried to contact both Houcine and the office, which was unsuccessful due to them being closed. As I did not feel the room would be safe for my health I left and booked into a hotel. The next day I went to the office to discuss this and get my money back along with compensation for having to book a hotel. I was insulted repeatedly and called a liar multiple times by Houcine and his superior. I handed the keys in and received no numeration in compensation. I was told by Houcines superior that they were in face in the wrong and if I emailed explaining I would receive a full refund, I emailed the address given instantly.
Since this incident I had contacted Flintons using their own complaints procedure to receive no reply. I followed this up with a special delivery letter, they emailed me to ask for further details which I provided, then once again radio silence.
After this incident I received an email saying my rent was in arrears, luckily I had cancelled
Any standing orders with them. I asked them to call me directly as they would not answer their phones (the failed to do so).
I spoke with Trading Standards who informed me they had a number of complains about this company due to the ‘Bait and Switch’ tactic that seemed to be happening (this act is illegal). After months of trying to get my money back I decided to cut my losses as I had run out of emotional energy and it was affecting my mental health significantly.
Whatever you do, do not rent with this company! I know it is cliche to say but if I could award negative stars they would be on -5*.
Update:
I have resent my most recent email including all details to the email address below as requested by Flintons in their reply. Honestly I do not fee confident they will resolve the issue and return even part on my monies. I will keep everyone updated on progress.

Has not returned deposit
They take advantage of everyone. Especially internationals. I needed a place for the summer, the room seemed fine. The rest of the flat was trash.
I moved out July 29th, 2019. They say the deposit takes 2-5 weeks. I've patiently waited. August 30th, I received an email regarding the deposit settlement. They said it would take an additional 10 working days.
It is now October 11th, I still haven't received my deposit and my emails aren't being responded to. I've called multiple times. They ask what room you're in and name, then they say we'll look into it.
I've done that 3x times and still no response.
I being left with not too many options. But I would suggest avoiding Flintons.

Master thieves save your money
So when I used app Badi to find a place for me and my friend we saw fine place affordable and we talked with Tee from this agency Flintons and hw basically said to come at the office to talk more m. When we went there in the office the agents were like asking every 5 second who are u looking oh he is coming... so at the end we sat down with Amir and he is the most used agent i could tell by the number of ppl were waiting for him so we explain to him we have talked with Tee and he actually was on the next desk didnt even say hi im sry im busy or introduce hisself so they are really bad mannered And the most unprofessional ppl I’ve ever seen he was trying to get more money from us keep asking us can u pay a bit more blah blah we showed him the place we discussed with Tee and he said oh that place is available next month not now .. tho in the app it said its available since sept9th and he started showing us another places around the area that we want it. So they only had one photo of the room no other photos around the flat .. so we went to the flat our room was big yeah but we hd those double windows one had the upper window broken and duck taped the other one i could not open because the handle was broken the bathroom sink horrible so bad every time we take shower the bath cabin overflows with water and then it goes into the whole bathroom and we have to mop it every time so we went to the office to tel them we want to move out first they tried to talk us into relocating but ww said NO they they showed us a paper that had written that if we want to move out we can pay 7% of the rent + one month rent so that they can fins replacement instead of us so in total we have to pay 1400 for that and they wont even look foe people so at the end let me just tell this.. They are fraud They don’t care about you or your health while living at they resident houses and flats there is no cleaner no one will pick up the phone in office or maintenance or etc dont sign with them dont go into their offices save your money and tons of headache
