Ok agency. As usual, one needs to read the contract properly and not reliying in the agents word . Smooth moving in, flexible 3 months contract. Got my deposit back.

Pure filth
Pure filth, scum and disgusting excuses of humans each and every single person who works for this company.
I ended up leaving without giving them any notice and it was the best thing me and my partner have done. London is so much more enjoyable then having to worry about these low lives. We didn't even worry about trying to get our deposit back, let them have it as long as we never had to deal with them again.
Dirty dirty people. How this agency is still opens is a mystery but everything they say is a lie. You won't get a viewing before you move in, if something breaks it won't get fixed and even if it does they'll try make you pay for it. You won't get your deposit back.
I can't wait to the day I see someone from this company in the streets.

Please avoid them
The worst agency you could imagine. Avoid it. They don’t give your deposit back, if there is any issue in the flat - don’t expect they will do anything to solve the problem, agents are rude, uninformed. Hanging out (or not picking up the phone) when calling to ask about deposit back the 100th time. How the company can still exist? Thats a scam.

They are the worst you can ever have
They are the worst you can ever have. Don't make deals with this guys, they are a lie.
The properties is the worst rooms you can find in London and it's really expensive for the quality.
They are one of the worst landlords ever.
Do not trust them.

Steer clear! This agency just doesn't care.
Anyone looking to sue flintons? Find my email on a Google review.
This agency is full of rubbish. For starters - All the 5 star reviews they have are made by their own staff.
Second, a year and a half with them, and a lifetime of problems. From mould in the bedroom and maggots in the kitchen falling into our food... A surprise bathroom refurb with someone refusing to let us use our own toilet.. And a £600 bill in our name and no solution for any of these issues. These are only the bigger problems we had. After I've reported them to the council, we got kicked out. Only just recieved our deposit after waiting almost 7 weeks.
I'm surprised people still rent with this agency. Maybe it's because all the online reviews on Google are 100% fake, or because they're trapped with no money for a new deposit/different agency.
Regardless, steer clear of this agency. I've requested financial compensation for all the troubles and all I got was laughs that "all I wanted was money".

AVOID AT ANY COST
AVOID AT ANY COST! I've had horrible experience with Flintons. Their agent was full of lies and their properties are horrible. I moved in the first one without heating all winter and the second one was more horrendous. The property owner tried to kick us out, saying that they don't know Flintons. They changed the lock and cut the electricity. Flintons threatened us while did nothing to help us!! It took them ages to fix anything and they often fail. The local authorities say that they have multiple cases involving Flintons. They were even on bbc for illegal actions. Please do yourself a favour and avoid them - even if it means losing your deposit!

I have been renting with them for the most of 2018. Being freshly landed in London, I was anxious to get a place to live asap, ended up renting with Flintons (formerly known as Cityside). Custumer service is horrbile, particularily when it comes to problem resolution (I've had floods, broken house equipment, mice(!) - total ignorance from their side. At first seemed polite and helpful - once you're in their nets, they change the game. In terms of pricing, I spent around £200 in agency fees (pure bureaucracy). They also overcharge you in rent for about 60% (but to be reasonable, other agencies do that too). You get a fixed contract. You are trapped. They are getting your money each month and dont give a crack if you have mice, rats, or baboons in your kitchen.

STAY WELL AWAY FROM FLINTONS
Honestly, I didn’t even want to give a 1/5. They don’t deserve 1/5.
This is possibly the worst estate agent and in fact the worst company, customer service I have ever experienced. From the minute we signed and ha fed over hundreds of £’s for rent, agency fees bla bla bla. Everything went downhill.
Promised the world and given absolutely nothing. Internet in the household - Took 2 months, then we were given a pre-paid box which lasted the 6 individuals in the property a matter of hours to get through. A cleaner every 10 days was a myth. We had no electricity in our bedrooms for over 3 weeks, when this was repaired, their own workman trashed our rooms, left them dusty etc.
All the above was a minor compared to the disgusting unhelpful nature from everyone in that office to help their tenants with issues in their properties.
Worst 3 months of my life, thank god I did not take out a longer contract.
Upon leaving the property, I was hit with an amount of fees reducing my deposit down by 40% which were not stated in my original contract but trying to reason with the so called manager is near impossible because he just doesn’t give a f***. It took 5 visits to their office and 9 weeks to receive my deposit back into my account.
If there was no persistence from me I’m sure it would have stayed in their possession.
Legally, deposits should be returned to tenants within 10 days of agreeing the amount to be returned. But oh no, for Flintons this takes a minimum of 6 weeks apparently. This is according to a piece of paper they attached onto my contract that they had a copy of... I never had this piece of paper attached to my own copy.
I would advise EVERYONE to stay well clear of these agents. I would much rather sleep on the streets then have to deal with them ever again. The fact that they are still open and being allowed to deal with unsuspecting people is beyond me. They need to be shut down or at least investigated.
Everyone who works in that office knows exactly what pain and suffering they are putting people through with these living situations and negligence. They should all be ashamed of themselves. Utterly disgusting.

AVOID AVOID AVOID ...
AVOID AVOID AVOID .... AT ALL COSTS.
They used to be called Citiside properties, you may notice it on streetview (before google updates it). That should be your first clue. A company that has to rebrand every few years, is not one to be trusted. The worst people in the world. DO NOT deal with them. I wish I could go back in time and stop myself.
I let with them from Oct 2017. They promised it was a double bed, showed me pictures etc. After paperwork, I picked up the keys then went to the property later. When I arrived, the key they gave me was for the wrong room (which was already let, luckily when I had opened the door to that room no1 was in). Therefore, I went into the double room which was the only one empty at the property, incidentally this was the only room with a working lock from the inside, the other room a single with a busted door. A mistake in keys I assumed, I will deal with it tomorrow, as I had to wake up for first day of work the next morning.
Following return from work, I comeback to find my room completely empty. ALL my possessions GONE. What the f?! The laptop, my clothes, suits etc. All gone. I call up the agency, they said "a cleaner came during the day, he could have chucked it all out". Why someone would do that without checking with the letting agency, does not add up. Or why they wouldnt call the residents to check who's stuff it is also does not add up. So they asked me to contact the so called cleaner (who they had f**king hired), so I did, this guy did not speak english well and all I could get out of him was he had chucked out stuff to the main bins for the flats. I recovered some of my less expensive stuff, duvet, some clothes and books. However my laptop and suits were missing. Then they claimed I was staying in the wrong room and tried to pin the blame on me. MOFOs.
I called the police at 6pm, reported a burglary. These MOFOs turned up at 1 in the morning. I was asleep, and all they said after I had explained the situation was that this was a civil matter. I took the day off work (my second day) and sorted a different place to stay the very next day.
I went to get my rent money and deposit back. These MOFOs refused. I explained, I had stayed in the property less than 24hours, my stuff was stolen (which I still maintain they orchestrated with giving me the wrong key business), after 2 hours of being in their offices I managed to get less half my rent and deposit back. An experience which now means I will never in my life deal with letting agents ever again.
The tricks this company uses are:
- bait and switch, show you pictures of one room and give you another (after paperwork is signed), this is the worst one because its just pure dishonesty. but what do you expect of these low lives
- time pressure (usual tactic of all estate agents), other people are interested etc
- employ people with similar ethnic backgrounds to the population of the area and have only them deal with your property (so your more likely to trust them).
The reason I have spent 20 mins writing this, is because I do not want anyone else to fall into this trap. I never did retrieve my laptop or suits and lost alot of money in the process (because of these thieving b**tards), let alone losing the family pictures and the projects I had been working on for my work on my laptop that I could not ever retrieve.
I implore you, NOT to deal with these degenerates. I apologise for the language on this post, as I was writing it, it caused me to get angrier and angrier.
***ALSO if anyone could point me to other website review places please, I will leave the same review there****
Also they are posting fake 5* reviews, that's pretty obvious.
And now the cherry on top...they're mentioned by BBC articles as scammers.

Just overall terrible agents
Just overall terrible agents. I responded to a listing on Spareroom, providing some information about myself and asking for a viewing. These guys then replied and asked for my contact details and the details that I had already provided. I then scheduled a meeting and viewing with them the following day, but upon arrival I was made to wait 30minutes, and the viewing was not booked so had to schedule for 24 hours later. Again at the meeting they asked me for the same information I already provided, proving that they didn't read anything. When I then showed up for the viewing the following day, I was made to wait over 1 hour! Only to find that the room I was viewing had already been booked! They then asked if I wanted to see a worse place that wasore expensive. Don't waste your time with these scummy people
Top quality service from start to…
Top quality service from start to finish. This agent knows the area, knows the properties and knows what a realistic valuation is. We put our house on the market and in no time got a perfect buyer for it, all thanks to Flintons’ professionals! Flintons arranged every aspects from viewings to finding quality prospective purchasers in a manner that screamed about their ethical standard and dimension of professionalism! Would love working with them again and already recommended them to people that we know!

still haven't gotten my bond back after four months of not answering calls or emails. Just there to get as much money as they can out of you while giving you as little as possible.

I am discouraged, they don't do their job at all. It would be simpler to tell what they did right. Almost everything goes wrong with this agency and they just ignore you when you approach them. I really hope you will no face them.
