Bitter regrets!
Stupidly, I was dazzled by the 5* reviews on their website, and other recommendations, assurances...and, boy, do I regret that now! The first doubts crept in during the installation process, when neither the roofer nor the electrician seemed to be fully informed or equipped but seemed to think I would have the answers. Then came the app, which doesn't function no matter how many verification codes I request. Sooo,... I have lots of pretty flashing lights on the inverter etc., with no idea of what they mean, since the Handover Pack is obviously aimed at those with advanced technical knowhow. Add to that the problems experienced by other reviewers: it's impossible to make contact with GET; emails go unanswered; requests for callback also, or if they do happen, it's when I'm driving and no further attempt is made by them. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!! I still have no idea if / when I'll receive the batteries, despite asking frequently.
GET HAVE AT LAST RESPONDED TO THIS REVIEW BUT WITH NO INDICATION AS TO HOW / WHERE TO RESPOND. ASSUMING THEY'RE STILL READING THESE REVIEWS, MY REF IS PDO0305. I LIVE IN HOPE!
Well, that was more than a month ago, since I supplied the requested info...and not another word from them. Looks like I won't get my contract fully supplied. Anyone else considering taking legal (or any other) action?

Signed up to Solar Together Cambridgeshire in May 2022. The process was smooth until Green Energy Together (GET) were chosen as my supplier. My installation has just been postponed for the third time (Jan 2023) and it is impossible to communicate with GET. I have wasted hours on hold and never receive replies to emails. I have no confidence in GET and suggest that Solar Together need to review their process for choosing suppliers. I am pursuing a refund but have been told that even this will take 'a while'!

Horrendous!
Horrendous!
Signed up to the London scheme, waited ages for each step of the process with no updates. They never reply via email and the average hold time is 35 minutes from the 15-20 times I’ve tried to contact them.
Very ambiguous rules on whether you can get a refund if you decide to cancel.
Would urge anyone to select another company who know what they’re doing.

After paying the 25% deposit in Sep 2022; my installation was not completed. The first time - I got an email the day before; the second time a week before and the third time no notice at all. I have requested for a cancellation 4 weeks back and sent the cancellation form to you but have not got a response; not even to acknowledge you have received this. I have just emailed again.
What is it going to take for my deposit to be refunded?

SPUK177261 after forking out the 25% deposit following an email saying if I didn't i would no longer be in the scheme - more or less they left me on hold to get a date for installation. Another long hold and 2nd Feb mooted. Told would get email and text to confirm. No confirmation received been on the phone today so far 3hr 14 and lst in the queue for 2 hours. Think it time to rethink the battery issue.

Do not use this company
Do not use this company. Why is there not an option to rate 0 on Trustpilot? After many problems with our installation and customer service in autumn 2021, the equipment was working up until November. It is no longer functioning. There are warranties and we have a Care and Maintenance package with the company. We have contacted them on frequent occasions since November 17th to fix this but have had no response. Like others, we signed up with the Wandsworth Borough Council scheme and now bitterly, bitterly regret doing so.
Green Energy Together is useless
Green Energy Together is an apology of a company that has consistently failed to answer our emails, haven't follow up on a survey, and broken promises to call back when we eventually manage to get through. They never have any answers - only excuses. Like many others, we signed up as part of a group contract months ago and have been totally let down by Green Energy Together's abject failure to even get to the design stage. Don't use this company.
Shambolic; Green Energy London of Mayor Scheme
I like so many have been totally let me by this totally incapable company, despite winning the contract to install solar panels on the London Mayor of London scheme.
I showed an interest back in February 2022, & then was required to complete the registration in April with a deposit of £150. I am somewhat amazed & disappointed that the winning contractor GET have been so surprisingly poor from the outset. The scheme closed for new registrations back in April/May with a prediction the solar panels would all be fitted by September/October 2022. To date (23rd December) there's been very little progress and its been so painstakingly slow throughout. I had to contact GET myself in order to arrange an appointment with the surveyor on 4th November. I was informed all the plans would be sent to me for final approval within a fortnight. However still no surveyor plans and this is now going into week 8. I've also sent emails to GET, but keep getting fobbed off to wait for another 10 days before complaining again.
On another matter, there have been various emails sent to me from GET which were clearly not meant for me and then another on 22nd December which repeatedly had the incorrect phone contact number listed. I phoned GET and despite advising them of the incorrect number (0203995422) & not receiving any surveyor plans was told it would be sent to my email asap. However no surprise as still nothing has been received. And with regards to the advisor, he apologised for the incorrect phone listed on the email but then provided me with yet another incorrect number!
I personally still cannot believe the negative feedback on this company on their own website, and now on Trustpilot especially as they won the contract on the London of Mayor's Scheme - its all very shambolic and the Mayor's office have so far not commented as well.
GET UK - Long wait for repayment following cancellation of contract .I cancelled my contract in October…
I cancelled my contract in October after having paid the 25% deposit as they notified me they had no batteries at the time and it would be a partial installation for now.
I discussed this with them as I was not happy to proceed with a partial installation.
I decided to cancel the contract in October as soon as I learnt of the issue.
They have confirmed receipt of my cancellation form a month ago but
I am still waiting for repayment - I chase this weekly. I’m told it’s with the director waiting sign off but I have been told this twice with no further movement from that position.
No one will tell me when the money will be refunded nor how long the refund process takes other than it goes through several departments.
I am resorting to this review in the hope that GET UK action my refund now with no further delays and if there is a time scale for repayment that they actually give this information to customers.

UPDATE- GET FINALLY REFUNDED THREE MONTHS AND FIVE DAYS AFTER CANCELLATION
Battery installed on 18th November but…
Battery installed on 18th November but never worked properly, engineer attended yesterday to fix but during daylight does not charge and after dark it charged from the grid, once fully charged it then sends back to grid. Overnight consumption was nearly 20kw hours, tried to report and won’t answer phones (over 1 hour on hold). Wish I had never heard of this company, avoid at all costs.
Company cancel the appointment 3 time
Company cancel the appointment 3 time. Took over one year to installed. All delivery turn up unexpectedly including scaffolding. Took over half an hour to answer the call. Never return our phone calls.
POOR SERVICE - SPUK198387
SPUK198387
Our experience is rather like others although (thankfully) at the moment over a shorter timescale. Scaffolding went up in October, initial installation date cancelled by email Friday afternoon before the Monday, second installation date nobody turned up, third installation date arrived and installers did too-one of the coldest days of the year. Panels installed inverter installed ok but not working; told by installer that they had switched off due to it being dark-but next morning they were showing as faulty. Installer was supposed to return to connect to Wi-Fi etc but of course no one turned up. No response to email except an invoice, which I refused to pay as the system was not working. Gave up waiting for a reply to the email and called today. First call was on landline so I had to ring off after 55 minutes or I’d have been paying. Second call another 53 minutes, actually spoke to someone who put me on hold while she spoke to “our operations team” and after another 5 minutes I was cut off.
I have also gone through the mayor of London’s scheme because I thought it would be with a company which was reputable - and ended up in the same situation.
I actually worked for GET
I actually worked for GET. and I've never seen a company so unorganised in my life. Turning up to jobs when the right materials aren't there or even worse no scaffolding has been erected. Most of there materials are bought cheap and are thrown together just to get them out of trouble. And then Constantly being told to deal with angry customers because they've been let down. Absolute shambles. And they bankroll the business on getting substantial deposits from clients with false promises over deadlines.
Then when I'd had enough and found a new job they held back my last weeks wages.
If I can give any advice to anyone reading this it's DO NOT USE GREEN ENERGY TOGETHER.
They'll give you all the spill but they are a bog standard outfit that Constantly let clients down multiple times. The CEO Nick Elbourne really has no idea how to run a bath little own a business.
4 Installation Cancelled and poor customer service
Having paid our deposit in July have had so far four installation dates cancelled. Suspect the next one on Wednesday will be cancelled as well. Customer Service not very helpful. As a customer I have to follow up with Green Energy to find out that my installation is not happening. Find an another solar company to install your panels.
SPUK79604 21 months and still installation not complete
We started the process in March 2021. Every step of the way has been painful: repeated missed installation dates; no warning of missed deadlines; no contact from customer service to track or re-arrange missed appointments; no one on the end of the customer service help line when you try to find out what is happening. Our panels were finally installed in April 2022 but since then we've been waiting for a battery. We know there is a shortage but that shortage doesn't equate to 8 months' delay. Speak to any other supplier and they'll tell you that is taking the mickey. The last promise was that there would be a shipment at the end of November. Silence again from Green Energy Together. A terrible company that fails every basic test of competence. Do not use them.
Lack of company engagement with my order
My solar panels have been sitting in my living room for two months. They promise installation and they do not show. You call them and they say sorry and rearrange. They then don’t show up. This has happened to me multiple multiple times.
This company is not worth going anywhere near. Their customer service/relations are shocking. I’ve paid a lot of money and have no idea when this will be resolved
Dreadful and unprofessional company that can't be trusted
Just like every other review of the last 6 months it seems, I had a terrible experience. Slick sales pitch, quick to take a 25% deposit, trusted them because Lambeth were promoting them - and then a no-show on the day they were supposed to come, with no explanation, and impossible to get hold of. I started the process of getting my deposit back, but nothing was happening. I contacted HIES and they chased on my behalf. For a while, I thought even HIES wouldn't be able to get the deposit back - but they did, and thankfully I didn't have to go down the Small Claims Court route. So I'd say to contact HIES if you need any help getting your deposit back.
Avoid if you can!
Honestly the worst experience I ever had. If you decide to go with this company which I strongly advise against make sure that everything is in your contract and not agreed via email as that will work against you.
Customer service is one of the worst, you can spend ages on the phone and you won’t be able to reach them.
No response to emails at all.
Installation has been postponed many times, no bird protection installed (wasn’t in the contract so no one cares). 6 months and still no battery, no WiFi dongle for inverter so can control/check anything remotely.
Their accounting department is nightmare, invoice contains some random numbers that doesn’t add up to what I paid etc.
I refuse to pay until invoice contains what I paid as deposit and when battery is installed.
Terrible company, avoid if you can
Customer service is a disaster
I cannot express the atrocious customer service that we have experienced by this company. They were quick to take our deposit but it is impossible to speak to anyone. E mails are not replied to, telephone messages not returned and when I did speak to one operative they didn't know anything at all. No one in authority is willing to discuss the solar panel installation or even have the decency to acknowledge my existence. I am pulling out of the contract as I dread to think what would happen if anything went wrong after the job was done. I went with this company as it was sponsored by the local council. Be warned, they may have a slick presentation at the start but once a deposit is paid you will be lucky to hear from them. They are not deserving of one star.
I would score 0 if it was possible
I would score 0 if it was possible. I bought Solar Panels via the Mayor of London's Solar Together scheme and they chose GET as their contractor. This company has BY FAR the worst customer service of any company I have ever come across. Installation was originally scheduled for February this year. By September I gave up and lost my deposit. In the intervening months, I arranged 7 different dates for installation. On only 1 occasion did the installers turn up and when they did they said the scaffolding wasn't safe and left. I spent countless hours (days in total) on hold to GET customer service team. It usually took about an hour at least to get through and every time I was told someone would call me back no one did. I sent countless emails and each time was ignored. We had scaffolding up and the kit in our garden from April until September. The company is a complete disaster and is to be avoided at all cost. To add insult to injury when the scaffolders turned up to take away the scaffolding they broke a light in our lounge and damaged the plaster on the roof. My advice, if you are considering contracting GET then don't. If you are unfortunate to have contracted them already and experiencing issues (which judging by reviews most people are) then take it up with Solar Together and HIES. Mayor of London and Solar Together must ensure they never award a contract to this company again.
