Green Measures 

My disabled wife with memory issues, got talked in to a larger order that she said she could not afford. Pay on the drip was the solution offered by the woman on the phone and from June till now, we could not afford to pay anything in to it and the cool off period ended, we could use some slack as 2020 was a bad year as they had months they could not work.. Bye £434? or can we claim it back in court? Also, the first two windows that they did their fitting team damaged the window frames, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

Edit. we got a call after cancelling offering a smaller order and we get the windows at trade prices. Still did not take it after aggressive pushing.

We were scammed out of £550 deposit from which we now believe after reading reviews is this company who trade under different names.(Creations) and Green Measures both based in Bradford....
We recommend that you do not agree to a quote from anyone doing cold calling.
Unfortunately we were sucked in and lost money and then Green Measures replaced our glass but haven’t responded to complaints from us that job not completed satisfactorily.Lots of reviews on here are mirror images of our experience.

Green measures also had the upfront to ring us touting for more work before our job fully completed. There customer service is non existent and as shown in these reviews fraudulent activity going on.

After over charging by £1,000 for a pane of glass, Green Measures had the nerve to call back a few months later, this time scamming our parents out of another deposit for unnecessary work. This is only when we realised they had been cold called by this awful company and we cancelled the new order. (nb. within their own complicated cancellation period).

Needless to say like all of the other reviews on here no deposit was returned and we took them to court, where a CCJ was issued against Green Measures. They have also now ignored this so the next step will be the sheriffs.

Interesting to see a few reviews claiming to be from 'rival' companies. Rest assured this is a genuine review and documentary evidence is available for anyone to see.

Also noticed on a few reviews they have responded claiming to be from a person called Ian (Ian actually stands for I Am Nobody). But unfortunately the reviewers are unable to further respond.

My advice would be to avoid this Company at all costs and to check out other review sources as well, such as Google.

Order to replace a broken pane in our conservatory was placed 27/08/2020. The salesman assured us that there would be no problem putting up necessary scaffolding to do the installation and that it would be included in the estimate given. We then paid the deposit. The surveyor called on 10/09/2020. He disagreed and said that health and safety requirements could not be met and that Green measures would cancel the contract with return of £240.00 deposit. By 08/10/2020 when I phoned them no deposit had been refunded. I was promised a refund within two weeks. By 26/10/2020 still no refund so I phoned them again and gave them a deadline for refund, Surprise, still no refund. Sadly I have to warn potential customers not to trust this company.

Scam company - they duped my parents into paying £9000 for some guttering work that didn't need doing. My dad has alzheimers and is a vulnerable person....the quote started out at £21K but then got reduced to £9K.....they still haven't refunded the deposit of nearly £2K that they extracted from my parents....

Updated 2nd November - still no response from Green Measures and no refund....have now passed this on to Trading Standards and North Yorkshire police

If I could I would give them no stars. Signed up for some work early September I changed my mind and asked for a refund within two days( well within the cooling off periid) 6 weeks later no sign of a refund)....not holding my breath after reading these reviews.

Again, gogreen measures David Thomas promises twice that our refund has been authorised and will be in our bank within 6 hours........ Nothing! Then we get a call to state he is bringing the cash from Bradford and should be with us within two hours....... Good job we didn't hold our breath surprise surprise a no show. Really David Thomas you should be totally ashamed of yourself and your company lies, lies and more lies.

Several months have passed and on top of not responding to the CCJ they had ruling against them they had the audacity to suddenly start phoning us again not to give our money back but to try and get us to sign up to more work. They did not stop so we called the police who raised a crime reference number and warned them to stop harassing us. They have ignored the Vulnerable Person Act by bothering us (we are both in our 90's) and just goes to show what lowlife they are.

It is amusing to see the obvious fake good reports from employees and see Ian's responses.. Ian only replies to these but never has a word to say about all the negative genuine reviews like ours... Strange that isn't it...
IAN actually stands for I Am Nobody because if anyone every tries to phone him he is out that day!!.. Yeah right.

BBC Radio Cornwall (Laurence Reed Show) has now covered this awful company and as a result very kind listeners have offered to pay the required funds to get the bailiffs on to them.

Our only message to anyone reading this is please be warned. Scammers who have ripped off too many people like us... BE AWARE.

Just had all my Windows fitted. The fitters were brilliant, very helpful. The company it self were very professional and dealt with all my queries very quickly. The Windows look great and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. Thank you

FRAUD - DO NOT BUY . A rep called Paul Stokes took a £300 pound deposit in mid June and has backed out of doing the windows for the quoted price and the company keep promising to return my deposit cheque until this week a lady called Maria said I'm now in a queue for my deposit to be returned .I see many other reviewers are receiving the same treatment from this firm . This is theft by deception and I have reported this to the Police- Action Fraud as recommended by other reviewers . If you are looking for a Genuine review - DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY PAST YOUR DOORSTEP !

Still no update Ian and weirdly I've received a call from 01942 316019 today from Green Measures who confirmed the GM3214 is correct and they have absolutely no-one working for Green Measures called Ian? They had all of the details and all my records show your number 0800 783 0422 which I was constantly in touch with when I had all these problems so it is clearly your company. All the times you came out I called 0800 783 0422 and all the details of the contract I signed they knew. So is someone fraudulently trading under your name or are you hiding behind something?

Anyway apparently they are sending someone out to look at these issues this evening at 7pm. Let's see if this person turns up and can rectify all these issues?

After signing the agreement, we started to read the reviews on here and got a little worried we'd made a huge mistake.
But I can honestley say what a fantastic job they have done from start to finish.
All done and dusted in 2 days 14 windows, 2 doors and a saloon patio doors. Nothing was too much trouble and they all took pride in what they were doing.
We are that impressed that we are having them back in 3 weeks to do the fasicias and guttering.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company to family and friends. The compliments we have had from complete strangers as they walk by has been unbelievable.

Spam call centre. The cardboard cutout on the end of the phone obviously wasn't able to get a real job.

Just had windows and doors fitted , extremely happy with job , love the composite door , fitters were brilliant and just ordered fascia and guttering with green measured
