Food delivery is so slow and they claim on time as they build in so much extra time. Really bad food delivery platform.
Hat lost in Penang
I was in penang. I left a new hat that I’m fond of in my grab car. I didn’t realise I had done so till after the time limit allowing you to contact the driver.
So had to make a report.
They managed to tracking down confirmed she had thd hat.
Then couldn’t contact her.
Then they managed to get her and it was left at their left and found premises.
And I eventually got the hit or at least my uncle has picked it up for me in penang.
I’m back in KL.
So I’m very glad it’s been found.
But the automated system is frustrating as several times in the saga they’d close the case and I’d have to open a fresh claim.
There’s no way of speaking to someone. To clarify things.
BUT it does work. And thank you Grab. I got my hat back.
Very grateful. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
It’s been a full week since the order…
It’s been a full week since the order was cancelled, and I still have not received the ₱565 refund that your support team explicitly confirmed would be returned to my debit card.
I waited 4 hours for a delivery rider to accept the order, but no rider was ever assigned. I had no choice but to cancel the order because it was not being accepted or fulfilled.
Your support team then confirmed in this chat that the ₱565 was only on hold and would be refunded to my debit card. It has now been a week, and the money is still missing.
This is unacceptable. I paid for an order that was never fulfilled, and I have already waited far longer than reasonable for the money to be returned. If this amount has not been refunded, I will be reporting this matter as an unauthorised withholding of my funds and escalating it to the appropriate consumer authorities.
I need you to process the refund immediately and provide me with a clear confirmation/reference number for the refund, including when I can expect the ₱565 to actually appear back in my account.
I use Grab taxis a lot in Singapore but…
I use Grab taxis a lot in Singapore but rarely do I find a taxi driver who is as engaging and welcoming as Daniel.
One evening, on my way to a school reunion at Lau Pa Sat (satay street), I had accidentally left my phone in the back of Daniel's taxi.
Because there were so many in our group, I was so busy catching up, that I had not noticed my phone was missing until several hours later when the evening was almost over.
You can imagine my worry and anxiety when I could not find my phone. Looking under the tables, asking my friends and also strangers who were now sitting at the table.
My friends tried to call my phone, but it is usually on silent or off when I go out so we did not hear anyone answer.
I did however, use the phone tracking system to cause the phone to make a loud ring.
Eventually when I returned home, I noticed an instagram message from Daniel on my backup phone.
Daniel must have noticed my Instagram details on the back of my original phone and immediately took the initiative to message me. That alone was incredibly thoughtful and reassuring.
What impressed me even more was that this matched the impression I had already formed during the journey. Daniel was courteous, welcoming and a genuinely excellent conversationalist. He was knowledgeable across a wide range of subjects and made the journey far more enjoyable than the usual taxi ride.
He then went out of his way to return my phone to me, and refused to charge me anything for the extra journey or petrol involved.
That combination of honesty, initiative, kindness and professionalism is rare and deserves recognition.
Daniel is a credit to Grab and to Singapore hospitality. If every driver approached their passengers with the same level of care and courtesy, travelling would be a much better experience.
Thank you, Daniel, you turned what could easily have been a stressful situation into a very positive one.
Waste of time online orde.
What a useless app. Go to help centre but what I want to complain about is only just happen but with no active so choosing an issue is not there. Robot cant help.
Put again another order into grab reverted within 5mins. So your telling me they started to pick my order immediately. Rubbish you don't start to a driver arrives. Also big c koh samui never do anything right. I was in the supermarket to test them once again. Ordered an took a picture of everything I ordered. Only to be told item out of stock and unavoidable. Rubbish I saw them in the shop as I put my order in.
Waste of time ordering on line because only 60%of the order ever turns up. Shambolic service

Grab is busy faking their own 5 stars
Well well well....You know an app is truly enshittified when Grab is allegedly FAKING ITS OWN 5-STAR RATINGS on Android and the App Store. 🤡
The app has become a cesspool, with some of the worst actors seemingly patting themselves on the back while treating users like garbage on a daily basis.
Apparently, Grab is so desperate for drivers that it’s willing to recruit anyone off the street—regardless of how rotten their behaviour is—as long as they keep the money flowing.
And it gets worse.
There’s reportedly a function that allows abusive drivers to retaliate against passengers by giving them a 1-star rating after the passenger rates the driver 1 star. The passenger apparently can’t see this rating in the app, while drivers can see passenger ratings.
If that system works the way users describe, it creates a completely one-sided rating system that can be abused to discriminate against, intimidate, and bully passengers—with virtually no transparency or accountability.
If you still depend on this app for your livelihood, you might want to ask yourself whether the joke is actually on you.
Grab your money, Grab your dignity, Grab your sanity. 🤡
Grab review Thailand
On our holiday in Thailand, we used Grab many times and had great drivers who were honest and helpful. On our last trip from Bangkok to the airport, we were running about 10 minutes late. We messaged the driver to let him know. He responded with I'm cancelling your trip. Grab allows a 15 minute window of you're late and we were within that. We nearly missed our plane as a result. The driver charged us for the trip. He was rude and dishonest. When I complained to Grab he lied about the timeframes. I couldn't prove this as the messages mysteriously disappeared within minutes of the cancellation. Most Grab drivers are great but use caution. Some aren't.
⭐☆☆☆☆ I did not feel safe using Grab as…
⭐☆☆☆☆ I did not feel safe using Grab as a solo traveler in Bali.
I used Grab because I was told it was the safest and most reliable option, similar to Uber. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite.
I entered the correct destination near my hotel, but the driver took me to an isolated road surrounded by trees instead of my destination. I was alone and felt extremely unsafe. When I told him it was the wrong location, he said he didn't know the address and insisted I had to pay for a new trip from that isolated location back to my hotel.
The original Grab fare was 27,000 IDR, and because he had taken me to the wrong place, I was forced to pay an additional 50,000 IDR in cash to get back to my hotel. In total, I paid 77,000 IDR for what should have been a 27,000 IDR trip. I paid because I was frightened and just wanted to get out of the car.
I'm sharing this because other solo travelers should know to watch the route in the app, never feel pressured into off-app cash payments, and report anything that feels unsafe immediately. I hope Grab investigates this seriously because no one should have to experience this.
Waiting 3 hours just to get a cancelation
Absolutely terrible experience with Grab. We waited three hours for our food, only for the order to be cancelled in the end. After wasting three hours waiting, we were left with no food and no reasonable explanation.
What makes the situation even worse is that Grab can apparently hold onto the money for up to 40 days after the cancellation. So not only do you lose hours waiting for an order that never arrives, you may also have to wait weeks to get your money back.
This is completely unacceptable. If Grab cannot fulfil an order, customers should not have to wait three hours just to have it cancelled — and they certainly should not have to wait up to 40 days for their money to be returned.
Very disappointing service. I would strongly recommend thinking twice before relying on Grab for food delivery.
Terrible taxi service
Terrible taxi service. Most of the drivers cancel the trip after accepting it and making you wait 10 mins or more. You don’t get compensated and when you try to rebook the fares all double
Lied to justify my complaint
Should really have read reviews before downloading the app and using it. My second trip in KL, I was met by the rudest driver ever,
AHMAD HAZRIN BIN HASHIM in a dirty black Honda (WC8008Y).
No greeting or assistance with liggae but complained about how I loaded the luggage.
He even tried to cheat me by not wanting to give me my change.
I complained to grab and ended up being threatened by them after the driver obviously spread lies to cover himself.
WOW. If you have to use grab, make sure you avoid this driver.
Lies & incompetence from Grab Help Centre Malaysia
I would leave zero stars if this was possible.
Last week, I left my phone, condo access card & keys in a Grab in Kuala Lumpur. A friend called Grab Help Centre and they told us the driver had searched his car and found nothing. So I had to buy a new phone and get a locksmith to get into my flat.
Much later, when the Grab app finally downloaded on my new phone, I contacted the driver. That's when I discovered that at the time Grab told me he was searching his car, he was actually rushing to prayers and couldn't search his car! So Grab lied to me outright. How could their help centre employee be so nasty and vindictive?
After his prayers, the driver searched his car, found my stuff and messaged Grab to tell them. What did they do? They sent a message to me using SMS!! What sheer incompetence! Why not use the Grab app?
Luckily the driver was an helpful man who met with me to return my things. This was 12 hours after my whole ordeal began - an ordeal that could have been avoided had Grab Help Centre not lied.
When I filed a complaint with Grab, they admitted it was their fault but had the gall to say that they don't do compensation, even though I was out-of-pocket by over RM 4k, not to mention the stress and hassle over an entire day. I screamed at them down the line and a few days later they came back with an offer of RM 50. That's even more insulting.
Whatever you do, do NOT call Grab Help Centre for anything! Grab is the epitomy of a faceless corporation that could not care less about its customers. I wish there was serious competition for Grab in this market. They think they can do anything because people will always be forced to use them.
Grab’s product design has become terrible
Grab’s product design has become terrible.
1. Showing closed stores when I’m simply trying to order wine — basic UX failure.
2. Terrible customer support when something goes wrong — useless and frustrating.
3. Incompetent product management that allows these basic failures to exist, wasting company money, damaging the product, and driving the customer experience into the ground.
People responsible for this level of product incompetence should not be running products at Grab.
One star only because zero is not an…
One star only because zero is not an option.
I was a happy, repeat Grab customer. After this ride in Indonesia, I’m done.
The receipt speaks for itself:
Initial booking total: IDR 226,800
Final total: IDR 310,000
Adjustment: +IDR 83,200, almost 37% more
The driver did nothing wrong. The IDR 19,500 toll was real and correctly paid.
The rest is on Grab.
The final bill included IDR 16,000 Platform Fee, IDR 23,000 Foreign Service Fee and IDR 15,000 Airport Surcharge.
Grab already knew I was using its platform.
Grab already knew which card was registered.
Grab already knew the pickup was at the airport.
These were not unforeseen costs arising during the ride. They were known before I booked.
And this is the point: burying a charge somewhere in legal terms is not transparency. Showing it clearly before the customer accepts the price is.
Showing IDR 226,800 and ending at IDR 310,000 is exactly the kind of pricing practice that makes customers feel deceived.
This is not about a few euros. It is about commercial ethics, deliberate opacity and trust.
You did not lose a customer because of the amount.
You lost one because of the method.
Goodbye, Grab. Permanently.
Bad experience with my iPhone left on a Grab car in Saigon
I left my phone on a Grab ride on 24/8/2026 in Saigon District 8. I tried to call Grab customer service many times in the app help center but no one answered. I then wrote a detailed report in the app help center what happened. I even sent them the Grab car license plate number recorded from my residence security camera when the driver dropped me off. Grab Vietnam specialists (Tien Pham and Phú Tieu) didn’t help me at all. They told me to check my emails which i did but they didn’t resolve my case. Then they told me not to use my email but to use the app help center instead. I am going back to the USA in 2 days. It appears my missing phone would become a stolen one. I give Grab a negative star for my bad experience.
