Ik zal niet Grando lelystad aanraden!!

Although the majority of the bathroom are well done, we are far from happy with the service of Grando:

1. No inspiration/advice were given to us when designing the bathroom - we are now left with a lot of wasted space and a too small bathtub

2. We paid for an antifog mirror but we did not get one

3. Part of the bathroom was to put in a door, the door frame is so damaged that we will need to fill holes and paint it over

4. Grando ordered more than 50 tiles too much and has nothing to say about it.

We explained the situation to grando for the past 4weeks but there is no interest of coming up with solutions. They got their huge amount of money and nothing else matters - no after service!!

Worst communication ever.

The design process in the store was excellent! I got a lot of good advice. However, once I signed the order it all tanked:
* I had to call them literally every day for two weeks before I received the drawings needed to install the pipes and wiring
* When they measured, they forgot about the windowsill, so they had to remove it when installing the kitchen. And the window can't open any more because the tap is blocking it.
* I had to go to the store to complain about that because they can't be bothered to pick up the phone most of the time
* Only after I asked them they offered to replace the windowsill. That was in January. It's now almost May, and I still don't have a windowsill. I've been to the store three times and every time it's just "We'll call you" and they never do. I never even got an order confirmation, so as far as I know they didn't order anything.

All in all, it's just empty promises. They say they will do a lot, but either you have to ask again and again or it won't happen.

Overall happy

Overall happy with my experience at Grando. From design to delivery everything went smooth. One big negative is the fact that they refused to return one of the items that we ordered incorrectly. Item was still unopened on original packaging, so very strange that they did not want to return the item.

Worst consumer experience ever - stay away!

We had our bathroom done by Grando, done is a big word because they never completed it. Also sales part fine and you get all attention you need until actual installation. Wrong parts delivered several times, no ownership, not calling back, we had to chase them. At the end the montage company working with Grando and installing our bathroom stopped doing business with Grando and no one ever showed up to continue working on our bathroom. After million of calls and pressure they agreed to send their own montage company. Turned out 1. Bathroom cabinet needed to be totally redone because was not done properly before, drawers not fully closing, wrong installation with the water pipes and the light spot system failing for 3rd time. Their montage company delivered half and left us with again an unfinished, incomplete bathroom and a damaged wastafel which of course where nowhere reported and of course Grando never took any ownership or offered to do something about. Strong advise, stay away from this horrible company, they don’t care for their customers, the moment the close the sales deal with them and say bye bye to your hard working money they treat you like trash. Our bathroom is still not finished, we will reach out and pay from our own pocket to get it properly finished because we are fed up and because we are already busy more than half year with them! They should be shut down!

Grando Zaandam- AVOID!

We were really excited to have Grando do the kitchen and bath in our new home. The sales experience itself was fine and pleasant, and we were excited with the plans. But then the difficulties began and and still ongoing- everything from poor to no communication, wrongly ordered parts, parts not ordered at all, appointments not made for work being done. In addition we have exciting problems like our shower flooding when you drain the bathtub. We've complained to them several times and they completely dismiss us and say things like "we don't recognise ourselves in these comments", or promise to call back the next day and then don't call for weeks. I understand covid and supply chain issues have made things difficult, and we've cut them a lot of slack due to this, but this has been going on for months now with no end in sight. Absolutely terrible company and customer service, avoid avoid avoid.

Terrible Customer Service!

We were excited to visit Grando in Utrecht. Our original appointment was scheduled to look at the options for kitchen and bathroom for our new house. Of course, we had meetings with multiple suppliers, so we could compare the quality and their offers and make the right decision. Last Friday we've had a meeting with a different supplier and we found out that Grando belongs to the same group DMG as the supplier we've met.
Trying to be polite (as during the covid19 times you have to schedule an appointment to go to the store) I emailed my contact at Grando -
Nick van der Laan, and explained to him that as Grando belongs to the same group we will not be interested in the option of the kitchen, however we would like to continue with our meeting for the bathroom. From my side I was trying to save his time and give him a possibility to potentially get another customer for him in the timeslot that we will not longer use. (kitchen timeslot). Unfortunately, I was disappointed when I received a message from Nick, that the appointment scheduled in April is now cancelled. First I thought it was a misunderstanding however, he wrote me " Hi Justyna, the trust is a bit gone from our side after your 1st email, which is why we prefer not to continue with the bathroom." My only intention was to be honest and not waste time. So I assume the bathroom commission is not as high as kitchen. Nick's answer was extremely unprofessional. I guess he would rather have me to come in April for this appointment and tell him only then that we are only interested in looking for the bathroom. We got punished for trying to be nice and honest. VERY DIASPPOINTING BEHAVIOUR of the Grando representative - Nick van der Laan. Obviously, we will not make business with them. No respect for potential customers from their side.
