Paid £900 for flights and then on top they charge for seats! We will be paying another £160 for seat selection, we fly frequently and won't be using them again

I had the horrible experience of flying to Saudi Arabia with GulfAir a while back. Where do I start? The food was bland and tasteless and the TV's didn't even work. Even after asking the air hostesses( terribly rude btw) two to three times my issue didn't get noticed/resolved. Not recommended!

I’ve been travelling regularly between London and Dubai and have be impressed with the excellent level of customer service provided by all staff I’ve encountered. They always gone the extra mile to make my flight pleasant. From finding me a more comfortable seat to helping me change my flight with out inviting extra fees. I’d like to say thank you to Mo Salem and Clarita in the Dubai office for on multiple occasion going the extra mile in getting me a good deal and providing outstanding level of customer service.

Recently I traveled from London Heathrow to Lahore. Very tasty food and 5 star Good Service during flight from London to Bahrain and Bahrain to Lahore as well. Seat pitch is 81cm.
My return flight been changed and when I called to my travel agent, they were asking £50 as admin fee even on Airline website shows Free unlimited changes.
Then I called to airline, they changed my flight Free of cost.
NEVER FLY GULFAIR
I recently flew with GulfAir from Dubai to Bahrain and then onwards from Bahrain to Heathrow - on this trip i was charged excess baggage, the issue i have is that i was charged for the whole trip when i should of only been charged for my flight between dubai and bahrain as that is the only leg i had overweight for due to flying falcon gold class between bahrain and heathrow, i've now submitted 2 complaints detailing this and sat on hold with their call center for over an hour with still no answer... GulfAir's customer service is terrible and i would not recommend you fly with them ever, they are an absolute joke of an airline. So much for arabian hospitality.

Gulf Air refused to board me and my family. They refused to give reason of refusal in writing. Verbally they told it is advise from Bahrain office. Bad and inefficient customer service and questionable practices
We had a stopover package booked for the inbound portion of our flight returning to London via Bahrain a month ago, however, we were denied entry into Bahrain due to a ban imposed by the Bahraini gov't on foreigners at that time. That part is understandable in light of the current pandemic, however, Gulf Air had never bothered to inform us about it, never even had the decency to apologize that our stopover would go unused. They've never approached us regarding a refund for the stopover package. And on top of that, Gulf Air charged us 90 BHD for a change of flight. I submitted my official complaint thru their website a month ago, but it hasn't been resolved to this day. Just got off the phone with them and was told the same thing that they'd be in touch with me. I'm not asking for any kind of compensation, I just want my money back for whatever was charged unjustly.
Two trips recently
Two trips recently, London to Nepal via Doha and London to Bali. Experienced excellent customer service. Connection during one of the trips was delayed for a few hours but the Gulf Team went out of their way to ensure everyone was comfortable and not inconvenienced in any way. Would definitely use them again.
UK to Oman Flight
Flight from London to Muscat via Bahrain
London to Bahrain was alright. Very limited entertainment selection of movies - less than a dozen options which is so unusual nowadays.
Food was tasty, although a bit salty. The seats are old but nothing out of the ordinary.
Bahrain to Muscat - Pressed the attendant button thrice with no attendant coming. Caught attention of attendant once in addition who promised but did not come back. Eventually, attended to me half way through the flight after asking attendant second time. A shy person may have remained silent and so I think it is important that Gulf Air work on this aspect.
Overall, it was worth to catch the flight for purposes of cost. Equivalent Oman Air fight was 1000GBP more. So they have provided an option for those who might not have been afforded to travel, but it comes with aforementioned limitations in quality of service.
I would fly again but it would be great if you could work to improve the quality of service to make the experience enjoyable.
Horrible Experience !!
I recently travelled from Delhi to UK (with lay over on Bahrain) with Gulf Air. To my surprise there was no vegetarian food option for passengers at all. The excuse they made was that the flight was preloaded with food from Malaysia so there was only chicken and beef in menu. Imagine that travelling for 7 hours in flight with no proper food and eventually all the drinks were finished too. Pathetic service with horrible experience. Spend a little more and fly with other airliners.

I have never been so annoyed as to pick one airline over another. I am due to fly to Sri Lanka in the summer and have managed to get my return flight (with a budget airline) refunded without any trouble. My friends traveling on another airline have been allowed a free change of destination but gulf air have said that no changes can be made; yet the country has been deemed unsafe to travel to. I can’t understand how if a decision to travel to a country has been taken out of your hands the airline doesn’t have to accommodate. I will not be using Gulfair again, which is a shame because I have used them a few times and found them to be very good. Really disappointed at the level of care and understanding you give your customers, what they are affectively saying is, travel to an unsafe country or don’t but we’ll take your money and resell your seat and make double.
This is also without mentioning the lack of understanding and the rudeness of their customer service team.

Shame! But even 1 star they don't deserve. They are in connivance with travel agency to like travelstart to scam and steal money from clients. Managers are unhelpful. There is no real customer service rather robber to customer service.
