Jack recently replaced the battery on my Jaguar XJ under warranty, and I couldn't be happier with the service. He was friendly, professional and courteous throughout, quickly confirmed the battery had failed and fitted the replacement efficiently.

He also went the extra mile by helping me reset the radio and CD system afterwards, which was much appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble, and his knowledge and willingness to help really stood out.

Jack is a real credit to Halfords Mobile Expert, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Thank you for providing such excellent customer service.

Would never use again! A simple job of fitting two tyres at home turned into 4 re booked appointments, being lied to, staff blaming each other, or computer error! Finally after someone took my case on did get them fitted! Customer service is abysmal
Would have been a one star review, be it for the member of staff that sorted this, the Bracknell hub, and the technician who were brilliant in resolving this matter

According to honda service center I needed two tyres replaced because of cracking at the edges.
They quoted £250 to replace two tyres.
Halford charged just under £100 and did the job on my drive.
Booked online, Sunday appointment at a time I wanted.
Job done perfectly and saved £150.
Wonder if Honda doncaster will read this.

I had a mobile tyre fitting with Halfords, and the whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The booking process was quick and easy, the price was very reasonable, and having the tyre fitted at my home made everything so convenient and stress-free. The service was efficient, professional, and completed to a high standard. A special thank you to Jack, who was friendly, kept me informed throughout, and is a real credit to Halfords. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Halfords to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality service!

Ordered 2 tyres to be supplied and fitted by Halfords at my home..was greeted by a mobile tyre fitter who had never smiled in his life...i gave him the locking wheel nut and left him to it. Then afterwards it was all done mate and off he went..I then checked the wheels and tyres and noticed deep gouges to my alloy wheels which the Halfords fitter didn't own up too.
I then contacted Halfords and another fitter came out and took photos of the damage and told me to arrange the wheel repairs and foot the bill and claim it back..so I contacted a wheel repair shop ..took time off work and got the repairs done and proceeded to claim repair monies back via an email address that the tyre fitter gave me.. then only to be told that they should have appointed a mobile wheel repair to come out to my house at my convenience.
Halfords use a South African call centre which are extremely difficult to understand. I received an email from Halfords mentioning that the call centre was to blame for this fiasco but in fact the mobile fitter was to blame due to not informing me of the correct procedure for getting the alloy wheel repairs done. The Halfords Mobile staff are miserable and unhappy.. the vans they use are battered and neglected like something out of a mad max film.. There are too many departments and points of contact which don't seem to talk to anyone at Halfords.
After complaining about my ordeal I demanding some form of monetary compensation but Halfords do not give cash compensation out to customers so all I received was a £50 spend in store voucher.
If you are a car proud person like myself then do yourself a favour and don't use this company.

Tyre fitting at home. Easy to book and came next day. Price was 50 cheaper than local tyre fitter! Halfords here 9am next day and fitted new tyre! Will use again especially if £50 cheaper than the local companies!

Terrible service from mobile tyre fitting service I received from Halfords but tyres been purchased from National Tyres.

I was very disappointed with the standard of workmanship. First they brought me van tyres instead of light car tyres and fitted to my car.I raised complaint and they agreed to bring the right tyres and replace them. The new/correct tyres were fitted, the wheels were not balanced correctly, resulting in vibration while driving. I have since rebalanced the wheels myself using my own wheel balancing machine and found that the previous balancing was incorrect. (I had to

In addition, my alloy wheels were scratched during the fitting process. I take great care of my vehicle, and the condition of my wheels is important to me, so it is extremely disappointing to see damage that was not present before the appointment.

Based on my experience, I do not believe the work was carried out to a professional standard. I expected trained technicians to balance the wheels correctly and to handle the alloy wheels with the appropriate care to avoid cosmetic damage.

I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter, review the standard of workmanship provided by the mobile fitter, and let me know what action you intend to take regarding both the poor wheel balancing and the damage to my alloy wheels.

Graeme in Southampton came last week to fit all new tyres on my car, he was very friendly and got it all sorted very smoothly and I have had no problems at all. Easy booking and payment online. Good availability of appointments. Technicans arrived early, rang ahead of time, very polite and professional.

Easy to use service. I got 2 tyres changed on my doorstep, which makes life easy for me. It was efficient and reliable. Ben the technician was friendly.

I will say, the tracking was rubbish as i had a slot of 8am-8pm but at 3pm it still said the van hadn't even left the depot, so I was unsure if it would even come. So I had to call and ask and the woman told me a rough time. It would make it easier if that was on the tracking than nothing at all.

Contacted the call centre and explained that I wanted to purchase four new tyres, but that these were going on to new rims, and that the TPMS valves would need to be transfered over from the old rims. Went through my order and booked accordingly. However when the engineer arrived on the day and I confirmed the requirement, first he said he had no time to do the TPMS valves and that it wasn't on his list. I explained that the call centre said this was included and after negative comments on his side I called the service centre to clarify the situation. On this occasion I was now told that I not only had to pay extra for the TPMS valves but that I will have to book another visit for which I will be charged. I asked the engineer if he will do the valves if I paid for it and he replied that on a good day he might, but he was not feeling well and not in a good mood, so not my lucky day (his words). To save further delays and cost, I said for him to just change the tyres on the existing rims. His attitude was poor. He was constantly swearing, blaming equipment, saying he hated working with run flat tyres, and did not take care of our property. It was not pleasant for me personally and I did not want to have much interaction with him. I was also embarrassed to have him working on my car in front my property. He was literally chucking the tyres and rims about without due care and attention for our property. He even disposed of the factory fitted valve caps and when I asked about it, his reasoning was that he didn't think I'd want them and I had to tell him so before he started work. When he finished, I stated I wasn't happy, and he just said "do what you have to do" and he left. So much for great service from Halfords. Will definitely not be having the mobile service again and this has severely tainted my vision of Halfords. Cannot recommend at all. Lot of money spent for an extremely poor experience all around.

I highly recommend this service. Having your tyres changed at home is incredibly convenient, especially if you work from home, have a busy schedule, or simply don't have time to visit a garage. It saves time, avoids the hassle of waiting around, and the whole process is quick and stress-free.
