Do not buy from this seller . Ordered Nintendo Switch Oled. Took forever to arrive and when it did was Japanese / Chinese version with cheap travel adapter. Cannot read instructions or warranty or download games vouchers as not UK compatible . Trying to return for refund. Will not provide returns label and even if returned say will not refund if box opened.
Absolute criminals. Do not send advertised item then make impossible to return or refund .
On Buy . Com are just as unhelpful .

Be warned. I wish I could leave a picture but the iPad I ordered on 2nd December for my daughter for Christmas never arrived. The seller was communicating with me, even on the 25th of December, but when on the 27th I asked for a full refund they stopped. I was advised the item would be delivered 16-21st December and was told the item was passed into the Royal Mail system on the 13th December and was stuck at the Royal Mail hub due to Christmas congestion. The seller even gave me £15 compensation to keep me happy. After further delay I managed to speak to someone at Royal Mail who advised me that they have not received my parcel and it was most probably sitting in customs! Some transparency from the seller would have not gone amiss. My daughter, who is an architecture student, was understandably, not overjoyed when on Christmas morning she opened an envelope with a picture of the iPad she should have received instead of the iPad she desperately needed for her upcoming essay. I should have purchased the product from Amazon or John Lewis for only £40 more - lesson learnt! Hopefully, this review will help you make a better considered decision.

Avoid at all cost!
I cancelled an order (Bose headphones). For 5 days they told me my refund was being processed.
I then receive an email saying the goods have been despatched.
I went to OnBuy for support who told me to return the goods at my cost.
I’ve been asking Hashtechguy for details of the return address, but so far have received no response.
Will update this review if things improve.
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

Just realised I forgot to update. This seller deals in fake and counterfeit goods. Enticing buyers in with a just lower than normal price. I dug around to find details of the seller and found they only work from a PO Box making their personal details invisible to the public, and for good reason, this seller is a con-artist. Advertising original branded goods, when they actually sell counterfeit products.

Thieves is an understatement. I bought Bose headphones from these thieves and they broke within warranty period. I was asked by them to return the headphones and now they are ignoring my messages for a refund. I bought through onbuy.com so avoid both at all cost. Very dishonest…

It is true what you read I bought a camera from hashtag tech guys via onbuy (onbuy are fine and trustworthy) my gripe is with HTG exactly the same as others my canon eos4000d was due 22-28th October - again had tracking but was lost or stopped tracking on 20 October I contacted them with no further correspondence please avoid like the plague

You almost ruined out trip to the USA

This company is currupt ordered a metaquest 3 came broken when contacted was all nice then bang closed the closing window says serials dont match and refused to return and refund and went silent.. please dont fall for it this guy is a fraud having to take to court now for money back...

I placed an order for the Meta Quest 3 VR headset through OnBuy.com and the website confirmed the retailer was hashtechguy. I didn’t receive an email confirmation of the order so I started reading reviews. As soon as I read the reviews I got really worried and I also seemed to get no response from either OnBuy or hashtechguy. I got so worried I contacted my credit card provider to ask them if they could cancel the payment but they said they need to look into it all first. OnBuy finally emailed a day later and confirmed I’d added an incorrect email address. I was still skeptical after reading the reviews but the headset arrived yesterday and all seems absolutely fine and it works great so far. It may ba import because it came with a UK plug adapter but still everything seems fine.

The Bose speaker took a while to arrive and there was a slow response to my queries when I was trying to find where it was and when it would arrive.
But I did get an update and it did arrive and it's doing its its job of speaker and using it for phone calls.

PLEASE READ OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEWS.

Avoid this company.

Waited 16 days for any sort of tracking information, email the company (twice) and got no response, and now without warning or apology have issued a refund as presumably the item was never in stock.

Joke of a company with the worst customer service I have ever encountered.

Purchased a new Apple ipad via Onbuy.com. When I switched on it asked for a passcode and obviously I had no way of knowing this.The ipad then shut down
with message "ipad unavailable". I asked for a refund
or exchange but it was dismissed out of hand.They are based in the U.S ,so be warned!

I ordered an ipad on 30 August for my autistic daughters birthday on 17th September. Estimated delivery was 9/9/24-13/9/24. Its now 16 September and stil no ipad for my daughters birthday tomorrow, no update with royal mail since 4 September (seller advised they were sending parcel to us) however not received by royal mail yet and this company is saying I can't cancel my order! Absolutely awful service

I regret to share my disappointing experience with Hashtechguy, a seller on OnBuy. I purchased the Momentum True Wireless 3 earbuds from them, only to encounter a significant issue with the battery of the product. One of the earbuds completely stopped working, indicating a fault in the product.

Despite my efforts to resolve the issue by reaching out to Hashtechguy, I have been met with a lack of response and unresponsiveness from their end. The communication has been poor, and attempts to address the faulty earbuds have not been successful.

This lack of customer service and failure to address a genuine concern has left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied with my shopping experience on OnBuy with Hashtechguy. I expected better support and resolution to a product issue, but unfortunately, I have been left with unresolved problems and unanswered queries.

I urge potential buyers to exercise caution when considering purchasing from Hashtechguy and hope that my feedback will prompt improvements in their customer service and communication practices.

Ordered one item. And A different item was sent and delivered. And Struggling to get this Sorted. As for some reason Nobody consent a returns label at this Company and organise a refund. From my experience would not recommend buying anything from this sites.

Item never came tried to contact them but no response, my request to cancel order has been refused plus refund also been refused
