pathetic service. never picked up and never got in touch, 3 days have passed. look elsewhere for reliability and a real human to deal with. these cowboys will not be around for long. interlink direct used to be much better, so since the name-change and possible changeover i can only guess how many loyal customers have left. Worst company
Worst company. Can't guarantee day for pickup. Been waiting two whole days straight and no one has shown up. Would never recommend this service to anyone. It is remarkable how they can be running.
Delivery already 5 days late
I was meant to receive a parcel last wednesday, and every day it gets cancelled at around 1 pm. I'm getting sick of this. It is sitting at the depot and nothing is happening (not a van this morning, so I have few expectations of seeing it today either). Absolutely appalling service. Customer service told me they cannot do anything about it, but should just wait a bit longer, as they're too busy because of black friday. Surely, you would either get more staff, deliver during the weekend, or not accept more than you can chew.
Incompetent Liars
Incompetent Liars. Won't bore you with the details as it's pretty much the same as everyone else's experience, but they consistently fail to deliver, then tell blatant lies to try and cover themselves. Their customer services is a joke (just a very unfunny one). Avoid any company that uses them as you will not get your items and suffer a ton of stress in the process.

Drivers happy to forge your signature and deliver to wrong address
Awful company. I received notification my parcel was on route so I went to track only to see that the DPD LOCAL driver delivered my parcel to wrong address and signed for it with my name!! When I called the customer service line they told me he got the address wrong and would go back to collect the parcel and re deliver to me. I then had to phone the depot numerous times to be told your parcel is 40 minutes away, when it didn't arrive, it will be with you by 12:00, still no parcel, the driver is 10-15 minutes away, still nothing. Some random person was given my parcel by this driver who clearly cannot follow simple delivery instructions and therefore thinks I know I will deliver to some other address and put on my records the intended recipient signed for it. How is it possible to get the address wrong when its clearly given on the consignment? Incompetent delivery staff with no regard for peoples parcels.
Absolutely disgraceful company
Absolutely disgraceful company! I had them ship 3 large parcels for me, 2 of which were damaged in transit. I had purchased the insurance (at an additional £30+) but have since been told that my items were not covered as they were on their prohibited goods list.
My parcels contained jars of epsom salts I was sending to one of my wholesalers. DPD advised me that this was a food item, I advised it was bath salts which contain a fragrance oil and therefore not edible, I then spent the next half hour being accused of sending recreational drugs 'bath salts'!! The next person told me it came under fragrance oils and so was prohibited. I argued that 2% fragrance oil added to salt no longer qualifies it as a fragrance oil!
They just came up with any excuse to try fit me on the prohibited list. The staff are clearly trained under no circumstances to pay out on the insurance. Absolute disgrace! The parcels were damaged at the bottom which suggests dropping, throwing or kicking. Awful!

I like the fact you can speak to someone on the phone, it resolves problems so much faster. We send 40-70 parcels per day at the moment. I wouldn't use anyone else!!

No one show up for pickup
Like many others I had a very bad experience with the DPD Local.
Booked for Monday 20.11 and received a text message stating "Your parcel will be collected between 09:00 - 17:00" (a ridiculous time slot). However, at 14:10 I saw on window the blue van of DPD-L and I get out to hand my package to the driver but the only thing I saw was the rear of the van....The driver turn the van without even stop, call or anything else...Re-booked for 22.11 again a message in the morning at 9.35 "Your parcel will be collected between 09:00 - 17:00". 14:35 received a message "We called today to collect parcel/s but you were not available. To rebook the collection TEXT..."
Contacted their live chat (unfortunately is the only way to contact them) and the CS replied that today (22.11) wasn't any collection in the system and the messages were sent by error....
When asked about a phone/email for complaints handling the reply was "We are an online based company and we don't have complaints"

That 1* is meant to be a 0*. I published a review on DPD in December 2016. So l am doing another one because my insurance company has refused to stop using DPD FRAUDSTERS for delivery.
You won't believe the same experience happened again with the same delivery driver from last year. So my parcel was meant to be delivered today as text says: "DPD driver Omar will deliver your Lifestyle order today 10:39-11:39"
I was at home waiting patiently and at 11:23am l received a text as follows: "Your Lifestyle parcel has been delivered today and signed for by ODUBA".
I was looking at my doorbell, no one has rang yet, l looked outside, no sign of OMAR. Then where da hell is my parcel.
I followed the link from the text and the location of delivery says Dagenham. I live at Hackney but my parcel on the tracking website has been delivered to Dagenham. This is a sick joke.
I phoned my insurance company, they phoned DPD. I missed my insurance call few min later and the voicemail left from my insurance company states DPD has delivered to a Neighbour. Blimey! Who is the neighbour? How? When?
I am at home expecting a parcel, a text came saying it has been delivered. I have not received any parcel and my doorbell has not even rang once. Why the contradictions? Why did the text message says it's delivered and not to a neighbour?
If it was even delivered to a neighbour then why did l not receive a missed delivery card?
Liars and Fraudsters!! This company and the driver OMAR are FRAUDSTERS.

Every single time when I buy online I'm sending message to seller please do not use DPD.Some of course overlook and I need to pray..
They couriers do what they like and there is nobody who control that.
At this time I have ordered parts for the vehicle which I repair for my customer and of course I can not complete the job on time as the parts still not with me.

"Oh we did send an email, 6 months ago".... An Email, to inform of a 120% rise! An Email that was never seen. How ridiculous to leave something like that to chance. Then have us continue to use the account totally in the dark to any price increases and then refuse to do anything about it.
What's wrong with my account manager calling up and informing us of such a HUGE increase?

Very disappointing service
I sent an express package with DPD local on the 23rd October. The delivery option stated delivery within 2-4 days.
On Tuesday the 7th November I discovered that the parcel still hadn't been delivered. When tracking it, it showed stuck at depot with missing paperwork. Given I had attached all the commercial invoices as usual, I am not sure what is missing. I contacted DPD local via their chat (only way of contacting them!). Not helpful - was told that they would need 2 working days to investigate what happened to the package. Today, 2 working days later, I have contacted them again and been told that they need 2 working days to investigate what happened (!). I was put through to a supervisor, who then informed that they could only see the same tracking information as me and had to wait for the courier to get back to them. I thought they WERE the courier??!! Anyway, it's been 18 days since I sent the urgent package and no news so far... Just don't use them!

Never even showed up to collect
Booked the collection of a parcel for delivery. They never even turned up to get the parcel.
Claim to have no record of why the driver hasn't collected the parcel. Which is an obvious lie. Not even sure if a driver was organized to collect the parcel.
Wont be using them again! And I recommend you don't use them!

paid for 24 hour delivery for a important car part the company sent it Tuesday i got it Thursday how to this work out for 24 hour delivery dpd are useless and could not care less luckily the company i purchased my car part from were brilliant as they got nowhere with dpd but did refund my postage back and are going to claim it from this micky mouse courier service
These people have no Customer Service …
These people have no Customer Service Department, or any way to complain. They send me texts about deliveries that have nothing to do with me. The last time I had a delivery from them, they bogged down their massive van on my grass and I had to tow them out with my Jeep. The place ended up looking like Passchendael and I received no apology. It took me ages to fill in the ruts and level the ground. I definitely would not use them.
Mediocre
I’d say if you need a parcel delivered and it’s time sensitive. Don’t count on these guys. Your stuff may get to you on time and will probably get to you eventually.
