DO NOT USE!!

DO NOT USE!!

I booked a parcel which they did collect. I had to contact them to ask why and all the questions they asked me seemed like avoidance questions to avoid answering for their mistake.

The person I spoke with on chat, because you try and find a phone number, was no help and they would not even swap to delivery before 10am next day.

Will not be using them again.

Avoid this company.

Avoid this company, save your time by losing your parcel yourself and spend the next few weeks emailing yourself back and forwards.

I booked and shipped a two box delivery.

First they said they tried to deliver but the recepient wasn't in when they tried to deliver... but they were.

Then at some point they lose the second parcel, and chose to relabel the main box from being 1 of 2 to 1 of 1.

So I raise a claim, which they then reject without updating me saying the box was found and delivered... which it hasn't been.

The customer service is beyond awful, their chat help cant help and everything has to be by email. No phone numbers, nothing. I'm currently stuck in a loop where they refuse my proof of cost of the items I sent because it wasnt an Ebay type transaction so I dont have a normal receipt I'd send a customer as I was just moving items to a new location in the UK.

Take your business elsewhere... wish I'd seen this site first. Just found out they used to be known as Interlink... who were just as bad so I moved from them.

Stick to parcelforce, I dont know why DPD let them use their name

The worst customer service I've ever dealt with.

I rarely leave reviews for companies as I frankly don't have the time to waste, however my recent experience with DPD has been absolutely disgusting.

I've used the company 4 times, 2 using the drop-shop service and 2 using the door-to-door service. On both occasions using the drop-shop the parcel just wasn't picked up, I had to call the shop a week after collection SHOULD have happened and have them leave an urgent note for the driver the next day, only then did they bother to collect my parcel.

My most recent order was supposed to be delivered 2 days ago, however for whatever reason it wasn't. I contacted the live chat team to discuss it and was given the standard "1-2 day response time". Then coincidentally the status of the parcel was changed to Delivered and signed for by the recipient.

Shortly after I spoke to said recipient and they hadn't received the parcel after all, so back to the chat team I went. I was then fed a bundle of lies from chat agent "Emily", who stated she'd opened a claim for us and requested proof of signature (on checking our account, no claim had been raised). She also stated the following:

12:33:49 PM [Emily] Sorry I've actually just been told that *recipients name* is on the phone to us at the moment - he's talking to a member of the team who will sort this out for him

The above was a complete lie and she must have taken me for a fool. I spoke to the recipient once again and they hadn't been on the phone to DPD at all.

I then tried to get back onto the live chat, but coincidentally all of my chats were cancelled stating "no one was available", even though I'd worked my way down through the clearly visible queue.

I can handle parcels getting lost, I can handle parcels not being delivered on time, but only if the company dealing with it is going to be honest and help resolve it. DPD have shown that they will happily lie to their customers to get out of a sticky situation and provide no help in resolving their issues.

No wonder they have such shocking reviews.

At present I have no idea where this parcel is.

UPDATE - Shortly after writing this review and complaining to DPD the driver miraculously decided to go back to the recipients address, drop the parcel on the porch and scurry off. I guess to make it look like it had been left there all along. Unfortunately for them the recipient watched it happen.

So to wrap up, parcels not collected, delivered days late, lied to multiple times, driver too scared to ring the doorbell after messing up. Do yourself a favour and use another company.

Total waste of time. They didn’t even bother to fulfill booked collection, and didn’t even notify me. Do yourself a favour and use a reputable firm.

Dpd Local are World Class!

I ordered a fire from Fired up Corporation on Wednesday and it was delivered the following day. In my experience, Dpd local are world class! I received regular text messages and emails advising me of the person who will deliver and the hour slot it will be delivered. Their online system allows you to modify the delivery slot if required.

My parcel arrived on time, in full. Perfect! Thank you.

Driver did not attempt to deliver parcel

Received message saying parcel not delivered when parcel was closed but was in at the time watching tv where I have a perfect view of the front door and no truck arrived nor did someone attempt to deliver it. Terrible terrible service. Try to see where my parcel is now and the site is having issues locating my parcel.

Frustrating as there is no way to speak to them and they change the delivery dates without letting you know unless you happen to log on.

Thieves and Liars

Thieves and Liars
DPD has managed to lose 4 large boxes of my personal belongings less than a day after picking them up. 3 months on, I have spent endless amount of time trying find my packages, but all i have received is endless apologies for the "inconvenience". I can now only assume that the my belongings have been stolen

DPD never responds and they need to be chased on a daily basis. You can never speak to the same person, no one ever takes responsibility and no one actually knows how to deal with anything.

The company is a sham and should be avoided at all costs

Thieves!

Sent a part from a print finishing machine for modification via DPD. It was well packaged in a wooden crate with a screwed down lid. That was my big mistake! It looked ike it may have contained an expensive bottle of champagne!

Someone at DPD obviously had the same idea! They unscrewed the lid and took the contents out. Upon realising it wasn't an expensive bottle of bubbly, you would have thought they would have put the part back, wouldn't you? Of course they didn't! They screwed the lid back down and sent it on it's way!

Unless you worked in the print finishing / printing trade you wouldn't have any idea what the part was for, so it was completely useless to anyone. So why not send it on it's way!

I will avoid online purchases if DPD are the delivery company!

1 STAR TOO GENEROUS!

Yesterday I stayed home all afternoon because DPD emailed me with a 2 hour delivery slot. At 17:43 I was emailed a picture of some one else's front door and a note to say I had been left a card. So I immediately called DPD and got through to their call centre. I explained the problem and also the fact that I must have the goods as they are needed for a job today. I was put on hold and was then told that the driver had finished his shift and that the parcel would be delivered on Monday so I asked to be put through to the depot - Zoe said not possible as they don't take calls (a total Lie, I now have their number). I asked to be put through to her manager and Zoe kept asking why, I kept giving her the same answer, that I needed to talk to them about this delivery. Zoe then began shouting at me, I pointed out that I was the customer here and asked her not to but she just got louder and louder (to the point that everyone in the same room as me could hear her clearly without being on hands free). I asked again to speak to a manager as I wanted to make a complaint about her and resolve the delivery matter. Zoe refused again and said a manager couldn't come to the phone. I said I would hold until they were free, she said you will wait until Monday then and put me on hold! So I went to the local depot, gave them the details and thankfully they gave me the parcel and their local phone number.

I have never been shouted at in such a manner by a so called customer service agent in my life! Awaiting response from DPD Making it Right.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

3 days of failed collections - Interlink in all but name!

3 days of failed collections, paid premium for collection and next day delivery. Their excuse each day was that the driver ran out of time to collect the parcel. I used them as they had the DPD brand, and we have used them (DPD) many times in the past... dont be fooled - these are NOT the same as DPD, they are still Interlink with the same attitude to customer service as before. If I had realised before booking they were rebranded Interlink drivers I would not have booked it.... Avoid DPD Local at all costs!
DPD please note, these guys using the DPD brand is going to damage your great reputation.

Shocking service

Delivered my parcel to the wrong address and didn't know where when I chased them.. I had to go and find it myself looking at the pictures of where they'd left it which ended up being 3 streets away and they refused to refund me the delivery charge... absolutely shocking service and the customer service team need customer service training.

Zero stars more like

I have been waiting for the delivery of a very expensive item for 8 days now.
Delivery that I paid for £26.
The driver has left three times cards at an unknown address, so I didn't even know he was attempting delivery, and now, having been given my phone number so that he could call and ask for directions, he has given me a blank again.
The excuse - the driver is new.
The best they can do is for me to collect at the depot, which is jolly inconvenient.
My home address is a recognised Royal Mail delivery point, and to top it off is readily marked on Google Maps. How complicated can it be?
They won't refund the hefty delivery charge, and don't have a complaint procedure either.
My advice is - if you are buying anything from eBay, advise your seller that you will not buy if they insist in using this company.

Worst company ever!!!

If I could give them NO stars, I would!!
They have tried to deliver me this package for a week now. For some reason, they didn't have my flat number. I updated the address with the flat number and when I received the confirmation email, was actually the same address as before, no flat number.
So the second delivery was failed again!!
I request another delivery for the next day and specified the full address. Today they just posted a picture on the front door of my building saying that was nobody to sign for it! But they never called to the intercom!! I was home!
Now I just select to pick up my package from one of their location!
If you want to send something, DO NOT use this company!

Parcel was set to be delivered by TIM …

Parcel was set to be delivered by TIM yesterday (12/09/2017) between 17:04 and 18:04. Tim arrived outside the house around 17:30, checked in the back of his van and drove off without delivering. Alarm bells ringing. Next I track the parcel again and it says it will be delivered between 18:00 and 22:00 (yesterday). Needless to say that didn't happen. Now the parcel says: Your parcel has arrived at our Clyst Honiton depot ready for delivery. More like you guys have lost yet another parcel I urgently required.

If I could rate a minus I would

If I could rate a minus I would - we have a business account with DPD everytime this week we have placed an order for pick they have not responded or even contacted me to say that they will not be able to collect. Considering we have time sensitive parcels that need to be couriered next day this such a shoddy service. Even when I phone CS they are rude and not helpful at all with regards to locating depot and when parcels are to be picked up. DO NOT USE and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
