Poor service food not delivered

Absolute shambles of a company. Put in an order, 3 hours later still nothing,and the automated chat is garbage.. don't use this waste of space company

Worst customer service (there basically isn't one) out of all the food delivery companies (Uber eats, deliveroo) and that's saying something!!

I’ve had several problems with restaurants recently. JustEat now hides all written comments from other customers, so you only see a star rating. That conceals ongoing issues with particular places and does not give a true picture of the food or service. Other customers should be able to read the actual reviews before they order.

Thankfully our local takeaways are great and we normally collect so no delivery issues. Just Eat on the other hand continually send offers which do not apply during check out. Doing all the right things, filtering by the offer, adding kore than the required spend and nothing. Customer services give you the run around with excuses that dont make sense, team leader gets involved and the problem gets fixed as they have common sense. Again today another offer sent when doesnt show at checkout. Sorry Just Eat but theres other apps out there and im still going to order, just not through you…. Our lobg term relationship just expired.

Absolute rubbish. Would give 0 if I could.
They accept deliveries without having drivers available meaning you can end up waiting hours for your delivery with no way to contact anyone or cancel the service.

Do not trust their promotions. I placed an order with McDonald's using an advertised "£8 off a £15 spend" offer. Just Eat accepted the order, processed my payment, and confirmed it.
Minutes later, they unilaterally cancelled my order without any justification. When I went back to the app, I saw they had covertly changed the terms of the exact same promotion to require a £25 minimum spend instead. This is a textbook bait-and-switch tactic and a blatant violation of consumer trading laws.
To make matters worse, Just Eat's app uses deliberate "dark patterns" to block you from contacting them. Once they cancel your order, they remove all live chat options and trap you in an endless loop of irrelevant FAQ articles. If you try to email them directly, you get an automated response saying the inbox is unmonitored.
They are happy to take your money under false pretenses, but make it completely impossible to hold them accountable when they breach their own contracts. Absolutely disgraceful and deceptive business practices. Avoid.

The customer service for just eat as really gone down hill. its nearly impossible to get a hold of a human. its just automated responses and no care for its customers. I made an order at pizza hut which i waited over 1.5hours for. I called the restaurant multiple times, in which they told me the uber drivers wont accept their bookings. Which makes sense because they dont deliver food!! In the end I never recieved my food and yet after multiple attempts to get hold of someone in Justeat i kept getting the same automated responses. This is THEFT AND I WANT MY REFUND!

If I could give zero stars i would to both mcdonalds and just eat i ordered food for the kids checking times first says 25 to 35 mins was nearer a hr the food was frozen chips were not fit for purpose nor burger went in bin i stated as soon as was delivered not good at all and just eat is zero help there quick to take your money but won't query the food outlet and happy to let us down with any rubbish food served im notnsaying scoffible or uber eats is better but least they help you no wonder there just eat rating is so low its rubbish service

I ordered a cake from cakebox for my husbands 30th birthday due to past reviews and turned out to be my worst nightmare. The top layer and bottom had slipped off and separated I had to push the cake back into place and fix the entire icing myself to make it look decent it looked like a mess. When I did that I realised that the cake wasn't cut and layered equally hence it slipped off and destroyed. I contacted justeat for a compensation they offered zero help after contacting them multiple times. No more cakebox or justeat. Useless customer service

Avoid just eat like the plague, absolutely appalling delivery service, ordered twice using just eat and both orders took over 1 hour and a half to be delivered or they havent been delivered at all. Fun Fact of the day order direct from restaurant it’s cheaper, just eat add extra on to the price of the food which is unnecessary

Ordered through just eat , missing items , got through to their helpline, they were no help to me at all , they didn’t want to kno to be honest

Ordered food from my favourite place and was given a delivery time. Which kept changing. After 3 changes and approximately 2 and a half hours later I cancelled my order, I was told I would get a refund so I tried a different takeaway, same thing happened. No refund. Absolutely rubbish. If they don't have enough delivery drivers the don't except the order. Rubbish service is

My order never arrived, yet Just Eat has refused to give me a refund.

I waited well beyond the estimated delivery time and tried repeatedly to get help. I also have Ring doorbell footage covering the relevant period, which shows that no delivery was made to my address. Despite this evidence, Just Eat rejected my refund request without properly explaining how they concluded the order had been delivered.

I am now having to dispute the payment through my credit-card provider for food that I never received. I find it shocking that a customer can be left without their order and then expected to pay for it.

This review is based on Just Eat’s handling of the missing delivery and refund—not simply the restaurant. I will update it if Just Eat investigates properly and refunds me.

I recently placed an order through just eat and the restaurant closed before receiving my order so I did not receive the food the restaurant have acknowledged this that they did not receive the order before they closed and just eat are refusing to give me a full refund when I did not receive the items I can’t understand why they think a refund is not acceptable

So plz be careful using this company as obviously customer service is very poor and obviously doesn't know the law when it comes to a refund when items are not received I wouldn’t even give 1 star for the review

So the app will charge for delivery, fee and make the restaurant menu prices more expensive than they actually are? The whole app is just a huge scam

Appalling Service - Ruined a Work Meeting!
​I am absolutely appalled by Just Eat's service. I was responsible for ordering lunch for 4 people for an important work meeting at the hospital. Despite leaving my phone number and clear delivery notes, the driver never called and didn't deliver the food to my department. They simply marked order #939273341 as "Delivered" and vanished.
​This completely disrupted my workday. We wasted our entire lunch break trying to track down the missing food, only to find the Just Eat in-app customer service was conveniently "offline". Leaving hospital staff without food right before a meeting is completely unacceptable. It caused huge embarrassment, wasted my time, and ruined our plans. I demand a full refund immediately.

I placed a order through just eat from boo burger in Nottingham my food arrived cold and missing items I contacted the restaurant and just eat both places have said there's nothing they can do for me shocking service as I've paid for items to be delivered

Don't order through this app. They do not refund when the restaurant delivers to the wrong adress. Had to chargeback through bank.

Absolute joke of a company ordered food waited 2 hours for delivery arrived cold complained yet told sorry nothing we can do on this occasion,no explanation no nothing but take your money with ease!!!
