I purchased an expensive ring week last week from the Lenox GA location directly. A salesperson sent it to me as I live in Virginia. Upon receiving it. I realized it was too big and needed to return it. A manager told me it had to be brought back to a store location which wasn’t obviously possible. It was sent, so why couldn’t I send it back? He couldn’t be bothered and after writing numerous messages to the clerk I was given a return address. I ended up returning it on my own sending it express overnight to the store. When I called today, I was told that the ring was worn and I would have to speak to the manager who wasn’t it. WORN! I tried it on and put it back into the box immediately waiting to get approval to return it. What exactly did they base this on??? Anyone can try on a piece of jewelry and it doesn’t look worn. Pieces are tried on all the time and people return them. There was no tag on it so it might have been in the store sitting for months. They are looking for an excuse not to refund me as they didn’t want to in the first place. I’m sorry that I ever dealt with them. I have numerous dated messages from the salesperson to prove I returned it immediately. I plan on fighting this as I will not be accused of something that is not true.

A True Disappointment
I wanted to order an item online for Father's Day. Customer service told me it would be best to pick it up at a Mayors store (20 miles from where I live), and assured me that the Mayors store had several in stock. When I arrived at the store, they had none. I called customer service to express my disappointment and was assured that I still had time to order it online for arrival before Father's Day. In fact, I was promised overnight delivery. It has now been 4 days and there is still no tracking information beyond "label created". Sadly, Mayors has lost my confidence and trust in their business. Needless to say, I do not plan on purchasing anything from Mayors again.

Mayors can improve by fully inspecting the item to ensure there are no defects before handing it over to the customer at the local store where it is collected by the customer even for items ordered online. This will avoid customer disappointment with Mayors and with the brand of the item purchased.
Update 6/26/2026: Mayors can also improve their refund process. I returned the Cartier watch on 6/17/2026 after getting it at the Mayors Tampa International store on 6/16/2026. I'm still waiting for the refund which was supposed to be completed within 3 to 5 business days. I called Mayors today and I was told the return has been confirmed but the refund has not been initiated yet.
