Day 2 tests

I ordered 4 day 2 tests from 001 Alpha express testing before we went on holiday, so I had them for our return. They arrived the within 2 days. I was very impressed. However when I received an email a few days later saying there were a few problems and they were working with UKHSA, I started to panic. I began to do search on the company and read lots of bad reviews which made things worse for me. I decide to order another 4 day 2’s tests from another listed company on the direct gov. site, but they had not arrived before our holidays. I had to use my 001 alpha express codes for our passenger locator forms as you need to have a number. We flew back from the USA on the 31/01/22 arriving back early hours the next day. We all decided to do our tests last night following clear guidance from the 001 alpha express site without having any problems. At the end of the uploading process it says we have to wait up to 24 hours for the tests to be verified and a certificate would be sent. The 4 of us all received our emails this morning along with certificates. I felt I had to write this review as like many other people read lots of bad reviews. For information my other tests from that other company never arrived. The company have apologised and have applied for a refund for me.

Appalling Customer Support

Ordered two Day 2 test kits prior to going on holiday which arrived before we left.

On returning however only one of the QR codes used to start the test and validation process worked and despite emailing the company (as per the FAQ's) and trying to call them (Mailbox full) I am still waiting for a valid QR code so I can complete the test I paid for within the required 2 days.

Customer support seems to be non existent at this company, how they managed to get on the governments approved supplier list is beyond me.

Very good service

Very good service. Had to email them after couldn’t send my result through first time. They emailed back straightaway even though it was Sunday and sorted it out the following day.

Never received my day 2 LFTs

Never received my day 2 LFTs. They told me I was actually entitled to a refund however I have been waiting 2 months for this. My last email communication with them was them saying they had refunded me. THEY HAVEN’T. They have since not replied to my emails for the last 2 weeks. THis has been going on for 2 months. What they are doing is illegal and a disgrace!!!!

Dreadful service

I ordered two lateral flow tests. They only sent one test and two codes. I emailed them over a week ago still no response. Now back off holiday and short of one test.
Absolutely disgraceful. Will never use this company again

My 2.day test came third day…

My 2.day test came third day .Impossible to register .Web page keep crashing.I called them mailbox full.They ignored my messages.I done nhs test and done their test did 15 minutes recording.Very upsetting.

Improving the service

We posted our extreme disappointment in the service provided by this company and rated them 1 star.
Monday we had a call from the owner who apologised and gave a full and unedited explanation of the issues which had resulted in the poor reviews. Although our experience was below what we would expect I do however have admiration and respect for the owner taking personal responsibility to call me. I genuinely wish them well as they address the many issues to return their business to one which customers have confidence in

Stay away from this company

I ordered a "Day 2 PCR test" and I received a rapid antigen test. I sent an email and got no reply, I tried to phone them for several day and like a lot of people, nobody picked up the phone. Stay away from this company.

AVOID

AVOID - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Ordered our day 2 LFT in good time for our holiday. Took nearly 2 week to arrive. After several emails they arrived along with a scrap if paper showing QR code and instructions.
On our return, tried all day to get our tests done. Did exactly what was instructed. Couldn't scan or input either QR code. After several emails they finally sent 2 new codes. Again we were unable to input them. It kept saying No Code or code already used. Several emails later and they now don't even bother to reply. Totally stuffed as you can't get them from another company as you can't use a backdated date. Absolute waste of space. They are just interested in taking your money. How they are on the government approved list is beyond me. AVOID.

I haven't received the booking refernce number so im not able to take my tests

Do not use

Do not use. Scammers.

The company is run by an individual named Abdul. Don't give Abdul your money. You will never see it again and you won't receive anything for it, except a test that does not work.

I used as they were an approved Day 2 antigen test provider on UK GOV website. They are no longer on the UK GOV approved list.

I won't be surprised to see a Watchdog episode on this company in the near future

AWFUL - DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM

Ordered a day 2 test which had arrived by the time I returned. Went to do the test and could not register the QR code as it said it was used/invalid. Emailed the same day and no response. Emailed and called on day 1 and no response. On the phone it said mailbox was full. On day 2 I called, still said the mailbox was full. Emailed again and finally got a new QR code but then once I registered and waited the 15 minutes it then said it had timed out and I had to order another test. Not been able to get any response on email or by phone. Googled and then saw there had been a big data breach so no wonder no one replies and then saw all the reviews with similar experiences to me. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. They should not be listed on the government website.
