Registering for an NHS Login is Virtually Impossible!

During her pregnancy 6 years ago, my wife developed gestational diabetes. Whilst this appeared to have gone away once our daughter was born, she is still required to have blood tests to check that the diabetes has not returned.
Yesterday she received a text requesting that she make an appointment for a blood test.
However, in order to have the appointment confirmed, she needed to register for an NHS Login.
Despite providing details such as NHS number; copy of British passport (only issued 3 years ago) and a picture of her face on their app, her application has been rejected.
Either the app is not fit for purpose, or the process is designed tp prevent British Taxpayers from accessing NHS Services.
She can get a new passport, but she can't get a blood test appointment confirmed.
ABSOLUTELY DIABOLICAL!

I had the original GP app on my mobile…

I had the original GP app on my mobile i went to reorder my prescription and the experienced being run around, I have tried numerous times to gain access to the new system with total failure. So today i presented a paper prescription at reception, I told the receptionist my problem and she then gave me a fistful of papers to fill out I have to confirm who i am but i am already in the system this is crazy ? My experience so far has not been a good one, no doubt i will be going backwards and forward to see the receptionist trying to gain access, Why change a system that worked into a Frankenstein that doesn't ? those nerds have so much to answer for.

NHS YUCK

The app is simply not fit for purpose.
It has now become appallingly complex.
I find this morning I cannot sign in to order medication.
It needs to be basically restored to the original format ,and before it is let loose on the general public get some of the older generation give their opinions not babyfaced yuppies whose language is on another planet

NHS App Access…

I have tried accessing this app several times over the days. It just won’t let me past login, tried deleting and re loading, tried changing password all to no avail. Total waste of time. I have a letter on there, sent by the surgery but unable to access it. App is a total waste of time.

The NHS Trust App takes medical…

The NHS Trust App takes medical services in England kicking and screaming into the second quarter of the 21st century.
It helps me order my medications easily and in a timely manner without leaving home, it helps me contact my surgery and let's them contact me instantly and I can book an appointment with any specialist or prescribing nurse from my armchair. Marvellous. I've seen the future and it works!!

They make it hard to use and waste my time

Keeps showing me irrelevant screens, makes it hard to log on. Refers me to something called Patient Access which requires a further log-in - I have no idea what Patient Access is or why it needs a further layer of security.
The NHS app has been designed by people who want to frustrate and block access.

I have to admit I normally give good…

I have to admit I normally give good feedback on various sites but this app is terrible. I cannot for the life of me get past the registration process.
It just keeps jumping back to photo i.d. which I have entered now over 50 times.
Have been trying to register for over three months now without success.
Tried taking photos direct (always clear) saved photo trimmed it and all sorts but to no avail. A few times in the beginning it allowed me to facial recognition but not any more.

Not going to bother with it anymore.

Push to use app…

With the push to using the app by the GP surgery and NHS, I have downloaded it and managed to eventually register. However, the app will not accept my login. Managed to access my account on website but there is hardly any information on it. I can't access certain elements. And I can't see my hospital letters. Waste of my time and effort, and I'm not happy having to share my ID either.

Order prescription earlier for holiday

Going away for holiday and want to order your prescription early so you've got enough to go away with. There's no option for this, so I'll have to spend my dinner time at work on the phone trying to arrange medication.

My repeat prescription requests are…

My repeat prescription requests are inexplicably being rejected. On each occasion I have to phone my GP Receptionist who informs me the rejection has come from my side and not there’s. They can’t explain what this means and said I should contact the App instead. I replied if my GP has known about the problem for many months what have they done about publicising the problem and getting it fixed. Nothing came the reply and this from a patient facing NHS Provider. Heaven help us! If I gave such a response to one of my clients in my line of work I’d be disciplined or even dismissed.

Don’t bother trying to get the NHS app unless you live in England or wales.

I downloade the NHS app and got right in until I put my address postcode for Northern Ireland and then it would not let me go any further even after several attempts of deleting and reinstalling if you live in England or Wales of course they have no problem the uk in general is very bias to Scotland and Northern Ireland yet we are still classed as being part of the UK It’s really annoying when you see an advert about something you want to buy and you go through the whole process only to then be informed that there is no delivery to NI why don’t they state this in their advertising so as not to waste peoples time NI and Scotland are very much discriminated by by the English government and has been for years absolutely disgraceful.

Useless

Complicated to register, then when I did get access my repeat prescription is not there to order. My surgery said they don't have access so can't help. Also, unable to order for a relative. My health online used to be so simple - this is no good at all.

Cannot access my account

Cannot access my account. The app opens, then I cannot proceed any further. This is the third time this has happened to me. I have previously deleted it and reloaded but I don’t see the point of doing this again. There are two letters on there relating to out patient appointments which I now cannot access, also I suspect, the outcome of my annual over 65 check up which took place a couple of weeks ago. It is really an unacceptable standard of service. I would add in conclusion that I never have the slightest difficulty with any of the other umpteen apps I have on my phone. A very poor show indeed.
