I have had difficulty trying to send a…
I have had difficulty trying to send a small parcel to the United States. The online process is not user friendly, and very time consuming. I have been left feeling very frustrated. 2 attempts of 30 minutes each, it has finaly gone. I'm not feeling confident that it will reach the destination.
Beyond terrible.
Literally just a scam organisation these days.
Zero customer service.
Expensive rates.
They just replaced the international customs form with a digital one - it takes forever to complete and you get no copy of it. They force you to do it, there is no other option.
However, you cannot retrieve it. They cannot. So when you need to make a claim, you're stuffed because there is no record of what you posted (despite them making you fill out an online form and putting in the weight and value of each item)!!
If you have to post internatioanlly, I can only suggest you keep your own records, as I foolishly trusted them. How crazy of me.
Beyond fed up with this stupid company. There is a reason NZ Post have become a laughing stock and nobody uses them anymore.
Do anything you can to avoid using them and lets hope they finally go under one day to avoid ripping off anymore people.

THIS GUY DIDNT EVEN KNOCK AT MY F**KING DOOR AND JUST LEFT A NOTE SAYING "SORRY WE MISSED YOU", AT LEAST KNOCK ON THE FREAKING DOOR.
My daughter’s parcel got delivered to…
My daughter’s parcel got delivered to the wrong address by the courier. He admitted to it. Then instead of leaving a note at the address he left it at he left the note at our address. He then apologised and went back to where he had delivered the parcel. The people of course said they did not have it and had dropped it off (NOT). Explained this did not happen as someone is on the property at all times. My daughter was then told she had to request a refund from the supplier. That is a courier mistake and they admitted that. Think they need to hold these courier drivers accountable for their mistakes. The addresses were not even similar. This driver seems to get it wrong so often in our area. The whole process took 2 weeks. Disgusting on nz post behalf.
Shame we have to use them at all.
Worst courier
Dont expect your parcel will delivered on time and they were just giving you a false re assurance. Once your parcel being delayed its starts not updating you anymore.
Worst customer service experience ever
Would give a negative rating if possible. NZ POST has the worst customer service ever. After a very well wrapped item arrived broken i submitted a claim. Over a month later and a dozen email follow ups with no response I finally got told they needed a receipt from the post shop the item was sent. I'd already sent through pictures of the broken item and bubble wrapping in my claim as well as the tracking information as requested, but now 5 weeks later I'm told this is not sufficient. As its been so long I have no receipt, and cant even recall which post shop I sent it from now! In addition they said once I submitted the receipt it would be another month for credit payment. I give up, it's not worth the stress of trying to work with them sadly.
Shameful males
Shameful
I just watched 2 of your male staff sit in the van while this little middle-aged female had to dragg out of the van 4 large 4x4 tyre's on her own big ups to her she eventually managed it because I hoped in and helped her but seriously what utter disgusting behavior shame on you both
Horrible
If this rating allows a zero, i’d give nz post a zero. Tracking isn’t helpful. Been a week since the latest update, which was that the parcel is with the airline, getting out of nz.
Called customer service twice, asks a lot of questions, but they only echo what you can already see in the online tracking. They couldnt offer additional insights.
Not Happy Jan
Disappointing. Not worth even one star.
$200 fresh seafood for overnight by air. Tracking confirms at depot 9.00am waiting for driver allocation Clearly marked as perishable.
Package fresh seafood not allocated to delivery driver that day. Should be same day delivery from depot.
Was left at depot 24+ hrs.
Allocated to driver 11am following day. Finally delivered 1.15pm 36 hrs later perishable seafood unusable.
NZ Post incorrect tracking stated est delivery 6 days later.
NZ Post apologies not good enough.
In future will insist NZ Couriers delivery from regular supplier, NOT NZ Post.
SOMEBODY AT NZ POST DIDN’T DO THEIR JOB CORRECTLY.

Auckland to Timaru- paid a small fortune for overnight courier + signature. Took two days and was told (on one of the three phone calls to CS) it was in Timaru but I was unable to collect it from the depot. It then scanned as in Timaru the following day, so clearly wasn’t in Timaru. NZ post = AVOID.
NZ Post has lost my packet overseas…
NZ Post has lost my packet overseas valued at $1200 ~ a new cellphone. They make it difficult to phone them and I gave up waiting on the phone queue.

Absolutely abysmal in west Auckland ..I have given up ringing now ...lost one package and the other 4 all thrown into the garden or left on a fence ??? It has now got to the point where I won't bother getting anything delivered ....tried to discuss with one driver whom literally had no Englsih ...
Rang call centre to ask when parcels…
Rang call centre to ask when parcels are collected?. Was told 5pm. I could have got there earlier but got there by 4.30 only to be told mail goes at 4.15. So I have missed my sister's birthday. That's why I rang to ensure this did not happen. And it is NZ Post managements fault as far as I'm concerned.
So upsetting. About time NZ Post
lifted their game and trained their call
centre so they don't give false facts. It actually affects people's lives
No wonder they have such poor ratings.
Where to start
Where to start, you have ATL but couriers will leave a card they called without even knocking on the door. And trying to have a parcel redelivered is insane, and took an extra 5 days and a lot of chasing up on my behalf. They also need to sort their issues with tracking services online, as lately their website is having lots of issues and items can't be tracked. I avoid NZ Post when I can.
Use another courier
My recommendation: use another courier service for deliveries you need to get there in time.
"Unfortunately, the delivery of your parcel has been delayed. We are aware of this and are working on getting your parcel back on track. We will let you know as soon as your parcel is on its way out to you."
1. Overnight shipping was not overnight.
2. No accurate tracking.
3. No help service contact beyond a bot.
4. The bot regurgitates information from the website. Waste of time.
No more NZ Post for me
I will do all I can to avoid NZ Post in the future.
3 times now, my urgent ordered parcels had not been delivered, even with instructions to just leave them at the door, and a specially arranged NZ Post barcode sticker visible there for the driver to just scan to confirm delivery.
No problem with the senders, just NZ Post crappy service, and failing to follow delivery instructions. I found the "sorry you were out missed delivery" ticket the next day, it was fluttering on the lawn under bushes, I thought surely, this should have been left in the letterbox, not just dumped on the door mat on a windy day, the writing on the ticket was just an illegible scrawl anyway, even the parcel depot staff couldn't decifer it.
Whenever parcels don't arrive, I have to take time out to go into the parcel pick up depot, prove who I am, and on one visit, they had a job to even find my parcels, the counter staff, were un apologetic, seemed doubting of me, made excuses or they blamed the senders for the non delivery.
I have no trouble with other courier services, only NZ Post.
Shocking service
My daughter sent me a letter through snail mail from New Plymouth to Christchurch over two weeks ago. Still haven't received it. Absolutely shocking service.
Just shocking.

new Zealand post is useless they lost my pacel don't know where it is
NZ Post Express Couriers across town
I have used NZ Post Express Couriers many times in the last few years to send items from Epsom to the CBD and return. They have consistently performed 10/10 with this service. Excellent staff in the front line for booking by phone and the items are always picked up and delivered at exactly the required times.
