Appalling Service from NZ Post
Disgusting, appalling service!!!
NZ Post DOES not try to improve its service. These are ongoing issues that never get resolved!!
I have waited TWO days for a NZ Post Courier to pick up a Parcel. They just do not pick up!
To get through to NZ Post takes ages and it is always the same response!!
There is a person waiting for this parcel to be delivered, and they have paid a lot of money for the post.
I have asked how the customers can send feedback
so NZ Post Managers, Supervisors can take NOTICE
and provide an efficient service!!!
I do appreciate the lady who took my call, it is not
her fault. She listened politely and did send a message to the Courier to urgently pick up today.
She also said that she would send feedback to the
management.
It has been my Experience that nothing really changes
when it comes to Management...
If NZ Post refuses to acknowledge that they continue to offer an appalling service, and do not address these concerns, they will continue to receive negative feedback..

We are using NZ courier since long time and when it comes to claim they always rejects it. Always reply standard email rejecting the claim. Useless suppport.

My parcel arrived in Auckland on December 1st ,it is now the 15th and I still have not received it,
This is not good enough, obviously you people are not competent or your management do not have a bloody clue
⭐ 1 STAR
⭐ 1 STAR – Completely unacceptable service and broken promises
NZ Post has absolutely messed me around and cost me time and income.
My parcel was meant to be delivered on Friday. Instead, it was redirected due to my address on new strert and new house so its not on maps. Me being a genuine guy I contacted customer service and was explicitly told someone would call me on Saturday to resolve this. NZ Post is closed on Saturdays, so that promise was false — and no call ever came.
After chasing this repeatedly, I finally received emails from Sharon – NZ Post Investigations Team, stating the item had been sent back to the main depot and that she would “monitor the tracking” and update me once scanned.
The communication has been misleading, slow, and contradictory. I was given assurances over the phone that were not honoured, and the issue dragged on for days with no accountability. Meanwhile, I am losing income because NZ Post failed to deliver a time-critical parcel.
If NZ Post staff are making promises, they need to actually follow through. This situation shows poor internal communication, poor customer handling, and a complete lack of urgency.
I expect better from a national postal service. This experience has been stressful, avoidable, and unacceptable.
No service. No communication.
Adding my voice to this overwhelming chorus of complaints. Sent a package to Canada by their courier post service that was picked up November 21st. Still waiting at Auckland Airport December 13. No transparency on where in the 'queue' it is. Useless service. If I'd have known how bad beforehand I'd have NEVER used them.
"Nobody was home for delivery" while husband was sitting in lounge
Driver never delivered parcel, stating "nobody was home" despite husband being home and in lounge. No knocking or anything. When I called up to enquire about it, I was told it was unable to be delivered as "nobody was home". When I corrected them, they just repeated what they said and said It would need to be picked up or I can order a re-delivery. Terrible customer service both the delivery driver and the customer service representative who I spoke to.

Had several letters delivered to our address in error. Contacted NZ Post to give feedback. No reply at all. In fact, I have never had a reply from them from any of my polite enquiries. NZ Post has the worst customer service imaginable.

It took 6 days to deliver after arriving my parcel in Auckland
Very bad experience, it was my passport
Very poor service, won’t recommend to anyone
I purchased item from Trademe
I purchased item from Trademe. I paid $99.00 to have it shipped from CHCH to Auckland. For $99 it eta was 2-3 days. Ok so 12 days later it is in no man's land and nobody knows where the flaming hell my item is worth $2500 if replacement. Email them, called them, send pics of the actual package, and I asked the big question about the what do I get for $99 of shipping. Deadly silence. Yes I am extremely ticked off. Flipping useless like a comical circus. A 5 year old could come up with a better plan for pickup and delivery. Rubbish rubbish.

Bought a pack of stamps and when I got home I found there were only 6 stamps inside instead of 10.
Useless company
Useless company. First time this year 2025 they delivered my parcel to the wrong house at the end of my street luckily I eventually got it back after about a month.
This time it was looking good after coming from Auckland it reached Wellington and was sent out with courier at 930am Friday morning. However after waiting all day it never arrived.by 7.08pm it was updated it was ready for courier. So it was out all day and never got delivered and now I have to wait until next week because the useless courier didn't deliver it all day. It's a car part I expected to install over the weekend. Totally useless company

What an atrocious company slower than a snail in a deep sleep, way beyond pitiful ... DO NOT USE THEM !
NZ Post do not even deserve 1 star, a disgraceful company.
Appalling
Appalling. Someone home waiting for the delivery, driver took it on himself to think the package wasn't safe. Left a failed delivery slip, and drove off. Then I have to go and collect. If I wanted to go and collect I would have just gone to the shop and bought the item. Due to work I dont have time for that hense the paying to be delivered. No refund either.

If i could give no stars i would nz post is completely incompetent and doesn't seem to care if you try to submit a enquiry when you fill 9ut the online form it just goes back and repeats over, and over without submitting and it is virtually impossible to speak with anyone trying is like chasing your own tail really doesn't deserve the title newzealand it should be made to change it
Don't use their app it just doesn't…
Don't use their app it just doesn't work. NZ Post is happy to charge your card then fail to provide a prepaid label. Lies are provided by their so-called customer service team claiming refunds will be processed in 7 days which never eventuate. Seriously Commerce Commission should shut them down or at the very least prosecute them for their appalling business practise.
WORST POSTAL SERVICE IN THE ENTIRE…
WORST POSTAL SERVICE IN THE ENTIRE COUNTRY IF NOT THE WORLD
Sent a parcel to USA on Nov 12th - enquired today on the 1st of december as it is still in NZ advised it was being sent back to me? Why?
No communication recieved to inform me what a shambles will never use NZ POST again
Appalling Customer Service
If I could give them a zero I would. Absolutely appalling customer serivce. I sent a small parcel up to the islands by International Post on the 21st October. Three weeks later it had not even left New Zealand. Customer service (if you can call them that) simply say they will look into it and ask that you call back in another week. I was told the same thing the following week and then the same thing the week after that. Its now 5 weeks since I sent the parcel and it still has not been delivered. No chance of a refund as apparently it has now left New Zealand. Would I use them again - absolutely not.
New Zealand Post keep up the good work
New Zealand Post keep up the good work. I would pay more to have peace of mind. Thumbs up guys.
Absolute worst garbage service
Absolute worst garbage service. The tracking said it was delivered but the item is nowhere to be found. Then I called their customer service and they said they sent it back to the seller. Why the f would you do that?
