The worst piece of software I've ever come across. Entering transaction categories looks like it was coded by a 3 year old. Prepare to waste a HUGE amount of time.

I switched to Pandle from Quickbooks with was becoming really unreliable. At nearly a tenner cheaper I was really surprised with Pandle. It does almost everything that QB does. The only thing I liked about QB that Pandle doesn't do it automatic milage tracker. You need to start it and end it on your phone for every journey - which isn't really a big deal. I just need to get used to it.

Have been a Pandle client for a couple of years and their online and live support is great. Just had Kieran M very patiently resolve an issue I struggled to make work - I'm flying now! Thanks Kieran.

Once you get the hang of it this is a great accounts package for small one man businesses, but make sure you get help setting it up properly (ChatGTP is very useful for that). Pandles online help is very good to- thank you to Andrew for sorting out the problems I just had because I didnt set it up properly!

Andrew Turner at Pandle has been an absolute lifesaver. As a busy business owner and mum (with ADHD too), I can get overwhelmed and frustrated really quickly when systems don’t make sense — but Andrew was genuinely brilliant. He was charming, patient, and explained everything in a way that actually clicked. He didn’t just point me to an article and leave me to it… he talked me through the whole system and even helped me set up my rules and accounts properly.

Honestly, I don’t know what I would’ve done without him. Incredible service so far and even their out-of-hours chat support is super helpful (I genuinely thought it was a human… but no human types that fast 😂). Highly recommend!

Have been using pandle.com for VAT submits since all gone digital. Has been smooth and very intuitive and easy to use with all submits made on you clicking online submit. Unfortunately I decided to click" already submitted" by mistake and that led to me being unable to submit - however with one live chat msg to support, I had a reply within the hour and was unlocked with issue sorted and have just submitted this last quarterly return. Great. This is software I trust and with different tiers of membership will suit most businesses helping with digitising their bookkeeping and keeping complaint> many thanks.

Found the software to be painfully slow and awkward to use.
Bank Rules are a great capability but they take such a long time to save and quite frequently don't work, when I raised this with customer support they said it was a known issue.
Also the fact you cannot filter or order entries when going though bank feeds is a real pain.
This software is probably okay if low volume of bank feeds or for ongoing use but i imported a years worth of transactions and attempting to run though as create rules and categorise was just infeasible gave up in the end.

I cant understand how this application gets good reviews, I hate it with an absolute passion. Its the most un-intuitive, badly set out app I've ever used. My accountant recommended it for bookkeeping my company, I cant even manage to change invoices to being paid, I managed it once now it just refuses, I just spent literally hours going round in circles. Maybe it because I'm using the free version so they've made it unusable to force you to a paid version. Anyway I've given it up as a bad job and doing my bookkeeping on an excel spreadsheet which is child's play and I'll get my accountant to sort it out when the time comes although I might bite the bullet and set up a real proper app like Sage. Very, very poor and frustrating experience, I'm an engineer running my own company so can't be that thick, I would definitely not recommend this awful app unless maybe you have a degree in bookkeeping but then you would be using a proper app.

Update.

I've upgraded my review after spending a few hours over Christmas wrestling with it, it looks like its going to be helpful for my bookkeeping but I still believe it could be much, much more intuitive, maybe this is a new application so it needs to evolve into something good, currently it's a case of finding a YouTube tutorial, following it step by step and writing it down as you won't remember what you did the next time you use it, especially marking invoices as being paid.

I run a small business and I’m a bloody good tailor but s*** book keeper but moving over to Pandle has been an excellent decision, easy platform to work on and if you do get stuck as I do support is second to none

Worked with the AI (Luca) which was helpful to an extent. At the end of the chat was referred to a team member. As it was outside normal hours contact was from Andrew the following morning who was prompt and knowledgable. Questions answered.

I was having trouble logging a piece of equipment as an asset and ChatGPT was sending me in circles. Robert from the Pandle team reached out via the chat and helped me log the piece of equipment I had purchased quickly and efficiently. Note to self for the future: "use the Pandle team for help!"

Very intuitive system and a very effective bot based help chat that unlike a lot of other services appears to have access to an up-to-date manual!

I had a few issues with Pandle and Ben Salisbury was incredibly helpful from start to finish. He responded quickly, explained everything clearly, and guided me through each step with real patience and professionalism. Thanks to Ben, everything is now fully sorted and working perfectly.
