These survey systems are vulnerable to so much bias and abuse. Unhappy people enjoy complaining and could easily sabotage companies. In their current form they should not be allowed in my view.... See more

Absolutely useless. They just close a case with no opportunity to redress. The company sent out the goods, courier says they were delivered. This was not the case. The intermediate courier passes it... See more

So bad of them for not allowing some others countries apart from their selected companies, very bad service.

Rated 2 out of 5 stars

Their customer service; their ability to fairly and transparently resolve disputes; and easily accessing money paid on your account are now things of the past! It is a bother to deal with PayPal now.

Scam purchase.

Scam purchase.
I bought expensive entertainment tickets last year. Turns out it was a scam company. However, PayPal allowed them the use of their service, therefore they are responsible. They have refused to help me out and even had the cheek to tell me I should have checked reviews before purchase. This was useless advice as scammers change name constantly.
My advice to purchasers is only pay by your credit card (not the PayPal one) then you are covered under the 1974 rule. Just avoid PayPal.

Scammed online - PayPal not helpful

I ass u me d using PayPal would give me a little support in case an online purchase was not as advertised. I was so very incorrect. On the order site was a company located in North Carolina, selling linen and cotton clothing. I placed an order for 110.36. I received China shipment emails and ass u me d they were spam. After weeks of waiting for the clothing they arrived from CHINA. I ordered from a reputable company in North Carolina. I have disputed with, talked with, chatted with PayPal to dispute the rubber feeling clothing I received from China. Their resolution is paying 44+ shipping and returning the items to China. My issue, will I actually receive a refund or be out an additional $44+. Needless to say I am canceling my paypal account.

No support and no security

No support, brought a product online and used PayPal as I thought it would give me some form of security should the product not be right, how wrong I was! I ordered some prescription lens but when they arrived (4 weeks late) they wasn’t even close to what I had ordered. Tried sorting this through the company first but just got a load of excuses. Tried escalating this through PayPal who without even looking into the detail decided I had no case as “the product I was sent was a like product” admitting that it wasn’t right but similar? When this is prescription I’m not sure how you can get a like product that’s right? It’s like buying a sports car and receiving a go cart but as it has 4 wheels and a steering wheel that’s not a problem! Reviewing the trust pilot reviews for the lens company it’s clear now (should have looked before I bought but company Myrlens.com was listed as being in UK but actually based in China so I have since found out) that they are a con as every review states the same issue so for PayPal to support this kind of seller is a disgrace, I will be closing my PayPal account as offers no form of security so what’s the point.

I am deeply disappointed by the…

I am deeply disappointed by the absolute lack of willingness to communicate professionally with customers. Your current policies reflect a complete lack of respect and, frankly, a form of total geographical discrimination. Blocking verified professionals and legitimate accounts without any valid reason other than location is unacceptable for a global platform. This is not just a technical issue; it is an exclusion of global talents based on where they live.

Avoid this company and use literally anything else.

€600 was sent to my account, and the money arrived, but it has been stuck there because I cannot withdraw it. The reason? During registration, PayPal somehow let me select “Latvia” as if it were a US state instead of the actual country Latvia. I still do not understand how something that ridiculous is even possible on a company this big.

Because of this nonsense, I cannot properly verify my account or withdraw my own money. I have been trying to fix this with PayPal support for over a year, and all I get back are useless copy-paste template responses that solve absolutely nothing. No real help, no accountability, no common sense.

It is honestly insane that a company handling people’s money can have such a broken system and such terrible customer support. My funds are stuck because of their mistake, and they have done nothing meaningful to fix it.

Terrible service, terrible support, terrible experience. Avoid PayPal.

I wanted to send help to my friend in Ukraine but my account had been limited , I didn't have photo ID because I dont travel or drive due to health problems and they are totally immovable. Steer well clear of this bunch of clowns

This experience showed me how little…

This experience showed me how little both PayPal and CapCut care about their users.

I was charged for a subscription and tried to resolve it, only to be bounced between both companies. CapCut refused to take responsibility and redirected me to a third party, while PayPal denied the case without properly addressing that fact.

No real support, no accountability, just generic responses and closed cases.

It’s not about $11.99 — it’s about the complete lack of responsibility and customer service.

If something goes wrong, don’t expect either of them to help.

Extremely poor buyer protection

Extremely poor buyer protection. I purchased a jersey I saw on a FACEBOOK ad. It was St Patrick's day hockey jersey and ad said made in USA. I ordered it Feb. 8th. $41.35 shipping tracking came through email from Oculus. Was being prepared in Ireland.... Wait I thought it was made in USA? Ruh roh number one tracking gad it all over UK then in Manchester here in US. Then nothing. I used tracking number to check with USPS but they said tracking numbers are numerical and this one started with JESCH and they told me the tracking company they are showing is fraudulent and non existent. I I. Mediately contacted the company. They said "oh it's lost" now tracking has it coming from Shezen China.tgey said I would get it in three days. No shirt.
So I contacted PayPal and filed claim to get money back. Showed them all the proof I had about fake tracking etc. they gave me temp refund. I continued to send them things I got from Fed Ex, UPS, DHL and USPS that tracking was bogus and it could not even be brought into USA with this tracking number. But they gave seller till 27th of March to respond this was first week of March. Well they took money back and sided with seller. BECAUSE THEY SHOWED FAKE TRACKING SHOWING DELIVERY BY USPS TO MY MAIL BOX AT 11:14 AM ON 24TH!!!! Well here's crazy part... I'm in spit spot of town that doesn't get mail till after 1. And I have USPS service that shows me every piece of mail and packages being delivered on any given day. I have not received a package for almost a month no package has come to my post office and my postmaster said that tracking number isn't even legit. They said there are protocols for packages coming into USA from foreign businesses and they cannot enter USA with correct documentation. I also pointed out my doorbell cam has no one near my home at anytime before 126 pm. And I got 1 letter as the post office had already sent me pic of that morning.
I also let PayPal know it is in their policy the seller must prove valid shipping Information and tracking number which the seller failed to do.
Over 20 pieces of evidence in my favor and they still gave seller my money . Just crazyness

Do not sign up for the PayPal…

Do not sign up for the PayPal Mastercard! They are a scam! I signed up under a promotion to get a $40 credit torwards my first purchase, I made my first purchase and did not receive the credit. After calling, now the 3rd time, and being transferred back and forth between departments and the same exact people (who do not speak English and you cannot understand) I was told today I already received the credit on the 10th when I applied (my first purchase was not made until the 17th and it wasn't applied). I explained this then was transferred again to someone who said the $40 would apply after a few billing periods. 2 days ago I was told it would be applied in 24 hours and it was not. They lie to get you off the phone. The card is a PayPal Mastercard by Sychrony. (I had the same issue receiving my sign up promotion with my Sams Club Synchrony Mastercard as well). PayPal chat also has done nothing to help me.

Avoid, avoid, avoid

I had used Paypal for years then I was taken into hospital for 5 months. I forgot my password while I was ill and PayPal wanted to send me a code, but my account was registered with my land line and being in hospital there was no way to access the code and at the time I couldn't find any way of reaching a real person. Eventually they closed my account even though I had over £100 in it. When I finally managed to reach a real person he said he would deal with it and when I rang back he had blocked me and I couldn't reach the number
