We searched for a camping site and came…

We searched for a camping site and came across a place called Little Clifden Campsite what a lovely peaceful place to stay Sally the site owner goes out of her way to help with anything you need firewood and change for the showers, the campsite is always clean and tiny the toilet & shower blocks are super clean as they are cleaned three times daily, the shops are within walking distance or a five minute drive to a convenience shop, Tesco Asda delivers to this campsite, beautiful views of the sea lovely place to stay.

Liked the layout but hard to do a search over a wider area to get ideas

Enjoyed the map showing where the campsites were. Also enjoyed the picture and summary of the sites side by side.
Struggled to get it to show me a number of campsites across a wider area - it wanted to narrow it to a county. Once I selected a couple across a wider area, it was really, really slow to show me both. I would have gone elsewhere, but short of time.

Stay clear customer service not great…

Stay clear customer service not great and sites mediocre who have trouble getting bookings elsewhere look online and book direct and you’ll save

Do not agree with the refund policy at…

Do not agree with the refund policy at all wanting to see personal documents such as death certificates if someone passes away, it is Disgusting.

Please stay away, conning and deceiving website that doesn’t vet its listed campsites

Please stay away! And this site doesn’t vet its listed campsite, will take your money and it won’t give you any support in case of problems with the owners or managers. As it happened to me and my friends that we booked the campsite over a month in advance and we have only been adviced 1 day in advance that we cannot have a fire pit or a bbq.
For us that was the whole point of the trip especially as the weather was looking bad during the weekend.
The owner said that their and conditions have changed after my booking and no one let us After trying to call, and emailed the while day the owner answered exactly on the day of departure
As it was such short we could not cancel could not be refunded and could not find any other campsite .
I feel disappointed, deceived and conned

Uncompassionate

Unfortunately my mother died before our holiday. Pitchup said they would consider refunding my deposit of circa £70 if I provided the death certificate which I did. I didn't even get an acknowledgement. I will no be using this company going forward.
